Chapter 6

Ethan, his mind clouded by the intense pheromones and the overwhelming need to be close to Ghost, found himself reaching out, his fingers tracing the line of Ghost's jaw. "I… I want you too," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Ghost's eyes widened in surprise, his grip on Ethan's wrist tightening. He hesitated, his mind battling with his instincts. He wanted to deny the pull, to resist the primal urge that was consuming him. But the omega, his body trembling with need, was a powerful temptation.

Ethan, emboldened by Ghost's hesitation, leaned closer, his lips brushing against Ghost's cheek. "Please," he whispered, his voice thick with desire. "Please, Ghost."

Ghost, his will weakening, succumbed to the overwhelming desire. He leaned in, his lips meeting Ethan's in a searing kiss. It was a desperate, passionate kiss, a desperate attempt to quell the raging inferno within him.

Ethan responded with equal fervor, his arms wrapping around Ghost's neck. He felt the warmth of Ghost's body, the rapid thud of his heart against his chest. The kiss deepened, their tongues dueling, exploring, claiming.

Ethan, lost in the intoxicating sensations, felt a strange sense of power. He had pushed Ghost, had manipulated him into this. He felt a thrill of forbidden pleasure, a sense of control over the powerful alpha.

The kiss continued, a desperate, passionate exchange that left them both breathless.

When they finally broke apart, they were both panting, their eyes locked together. Ghost looked at Ethan, his eyes filled with a mixture of desire and something else – something darker, something that made Ethan's blood run cold.

Ghost reached out, his hand tracing the line of Ethan's jaw. "You're beautiful," he repeated, his voice rough and hoarse. "But you shouldn't have done that."

Ethan, his euphoria fading, felt a shiver run down his spine. He had manipulated Ghost, used his vulnerability against him. He felt a pang of guilt, a sense of unease that he couldn't ignore.

Ghost leaned closer, his eyes darkening. "You used me," he whispered, his voice a low growl.

Ethan flinched, his eyes widening in fear. He had never intended to hurt Ghost, but he knew he had crossed a line.

Ghost, his eyes filled with a mixture of anger and regret, pulled away. He turned his head away, his breathing ragged.

Ethan watched him, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew he had made a terrible mistake. He had used Ghost, taken advantage of his vulnerability, and now he was paying the price.

The rest of the night was a blur of awkward silences and lingering tension. Ghost remained distant, his gaze averted, his mind clearly elsewhere. Ethan, filled with regret and self-loathing, could only watch, his heart heavy with the weight of his actions.

The next morning, Ethan woke up with a start, the events of the previous night flooding back to him. He remembered the heat, the overwhelming desire, the way he had manipulated Ghost. He felt a wave of nausea wash over him, his stomach churning with regret.

He looked over at Ghost, who was still sleeping, his face pale and drawn. He looked so peaceful, so vulnerable, that Ethan's heart ached with guilt.

He gently shook Ghost's shoulder. "Ghost," he whispered, his voice hoarse.

Ghost stirred, his eyes fluttering open. He looked at Ethan, his eyes filled with a mixture of confusion and something else – something Ethan couldn't quite decipher.

"I'm sorry," Ethan whispered, his voice trembling. "I… I shouldn't have… I used you."

Ghost looked at him, his expression unreadable. "You used me?" he repeated, his voice low and dangerous.

Ethan nodded, his eyes filled with remorse. "I know. I was in heat, and I… I took advantage of you. I'm so sorry."

Ghost looked away, his jaw clenched. He didn't speak, but Ethan could see the turmoil in his eyes.

Ethan, his heart heavy with regret, got out of bed and left the room, leaving Ghost alone with his thoughts. He knew he had hurt Ghost, and he knew he would have to live with the consequences of his actions.

As he walked down the hospital corridor, he felt a wave of despair wash over him. He had crossed a line, and he knew he would never be able to undo the damage he had done.
