Chapter 4: Forever and Always

As the days turned into weeks, Emily and Max's relationship continued to blossom. They spent every spare moment together, exploring the city and getting to know each other.

One evening, as they were walking through the park, Max turned to Emily and took her hand. "I have something important to ask you," he said, his eyes burning with intensity.

Emily's heart skipped a beat as she wondered what Max was about to say. "What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Max dropped to one knee, pulling out a small box as he did so. "Emily, from the moment I met you, I knew that you were someone special. Will you marry me?"

Tears of joy streaming down her face, Emily nodded eagerly. "Yes, yes, a million times yes!" she exclaimed.

As Max slid the ring onto her finger, Emily felt like she was on top of the world. She knew that she had found her soulmate in Max, and she couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with him.

Their wedding was a beautiful, intimate affair, with only close friends and family in attendance. As they exchanged their vows, Emily felt like she was exactly where she was meant to be.

As they danced at the reception, Max pulled Emily close and whispered in her ear. "I promise to love you forever and always," he said, his voice filled with emotion.

"I promise to love you forever and always too," Emily replied, smiling up at him.

As they sealed their promise with a kiss, Emily knew that she had found her happily ever after. She was home, and she knew that she would never let Max go.
