Ji-Hyun's POV"~
I settled into my new seat in business class, relieved to be alone. But as I closed my eyes, the encounter replayed, fueling my anger. I vowed to take revenge, determined to uncover the identity of that stranger.
I know that it's impossible, but I'll try. He should pay for what he did.
Flight landed in Seoul Incheon airport~
As I stepped off the plane at Seoul Incheon Airport, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. The flight had been long and arduous, but finally, I was back on familiar ground.
I made my way through the airport, searching for a familiar face among the crowd. But as I scanned the sea of strangers, my heart sank. No one was there to greet me.
Just as I was starting to feel disappointed, a gentle tap on my shoulder made me spin around. And that's when I saw her - my sister, standing behind me with a bright smile on her face.
Name : Park Min-JI
Age: 22
Occupation : works along with her appa.
In an instant, she flung her arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug. I tried to wriggle free, but she held on tight, refusing to let go. For a good minute, she squeezed me, until I was panting with exhaustion.
Finally, she released me, still beaming with excitement. I took a deep breath, trying to catch my breath. "Hey! Min-Ji," I said, feeling annoyed. "Why did you hug me? You know I don't like these all."
"Ugh! I forgot and got a little bit excited. By the way, Welcome back, Ji-Hyun-ah~ You're back early," my sister said, raising an eyebrow. "Eomma said you'd be gone for another week. Why did you come back so soon? Are you desperate to get married?" She teased me, a mischievous glint in her eye.
I rolled my eyes and twisted her ear, playfully punishing her for the jab. "Ah~ AAhh~!" she yelped, trying to wriggle free. "Leave my ear alone! It hurts!"
"Eh, it'll hurt when I twist your ear," I retorted, trying to maintain a stern tone.
My sister's face scrunched up in pain, and she begged, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Now, let go!"
I released her ear, and she rubbed it, pouting. Despite her adorable expression, I refused to give her any satisfaction. I was still annoyed that she'd brought up marriage.
My sister looked up at me, her eyes sparkling with amusement, but I kept my expression neutral, not wanting to encourage her teasing.
"There's a surprise for you," my sister said, her voice bubbling with excitement. "Come on, close your eyes."
"Don't. Stay away," I warned, but she ignored me.
"Okay, but at least let me tie a blindfold to your eyes," she persisted.
I hesitated, but before I could protest further, she tied the blindfold around my eyes.
"What's the surprise?" I asked, but she just giggled and led me away.
I stumbled along, trying to keep up with her pace. We walked for a few minutes, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being led into some kind of trap.
Finally, we stopped at a place that sounded like a parking area. I could hear the distant hum of cars passing by.
My sister whispered in my ear, "Stand still like a statue. You got it? Wait here for a moment."
And with that, she left my side.
I stood there, my ears straining to pick up any sound. Suddenly, I sensed someone approaching me. The person stood in front of me, tall and imposing.
I could smell the faint scent of cologne wafting from them.
My heart skipped a beat as someone gently untied the blindfold. I slowly opened my eyes, blinking away the darkness as I adjusted to the light.
As I took in the stranger's appearance, I felt a sense of disorientation. He was effortlessly handsome, he's wearing a black suit, with black shirt beneath, he left a top buttons, revealing his chest, his face is well-defined face with smooth, clear skin. His hair is dark and styled neatly, framing their face perfectly. They have expressive eyes that are slightly almond-shaped, with well-groomed eyebrows. His nose is straight and proportionate, and he have full lips that are slightly parted.
But as I stood there, frozen in admiration, he suddenly leaned in close, his breath whispering against my ear. "Welcome back, Jagiya..." he whispered, his deep, husky voice sending shivers down my spine.
My eyes widened as I realized who it was. Min-Soo.
I took a step back, trying to create some distance between us. My heart was racing, and I could feel my face growing hot.
Min-Soo's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, his gaze never leaving mine. "Did you remember me?" he asked, his voice low and teasing.
I swallowed hard, trying to find my voice. But before I could respond, Min-Soo took another step closer, his eyes burning with an intensity that left me breathless.
He was about to say something, but suddenly Min-Ji appeared with a pack of bubble tea, her timing impeccable. "Hey, I got your favorite flavors!" she chimed, oblivious to the tension.
I seized the opportunity to intervene, grabbing Min-Ji's arm and pulling her aside. "What is he doing here?" I hissed, trying to keep my voice low.
Min-Ji looked taken aback. "I thought it would be nice to have him pick you up since he's already with our parents, in our house" she explained.
I frowned, my mind racing. "Firstly, what was he doing with eomma ad appa? And secondly, why would you bring him here without asking me?" I argued, trying to keep my cool.
Min-Ji looked sheepish, realizing her mistake. "I'm sorry, I didn't think it would be a big deal... But, whatever he's your soon-to-be-groom. So, why so serious?"
As Min-Ji and I argued, Min-Soo suddenly appeared behind me, his arms snaking around my waist. I was shocked, unable to process what was happening.
Min-Ji's eyes widened in disbelief. "Mr. Jeon, it's unbelievable! Ji-Hyun never allows anyone to touch her, but you...you're holding her waist! You're lucky my sister is allowing you to touch her."
As reality set in, I tried to push Min-Soo away, but his grip only tightened. Min-Ji continued, "Now, no need to act like you don't like this. I won't feel bad because he's your future hubby, so enjoy."
(Ignore their clothes, faces and everything. I used this just for scene)
I wriggled in Min-Soo's grip, trying to free myself, but he held firm."I have permission to take you out for coffee or something." he whispered in my ear, his breath sending shivers down my spine.
My eyes narrowed, and I turned to Min-Ji. "You gave him permission?" I asked, incredulous.
Min-Ji nodded, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Yeah, I did. Not only me but also eomma and appa gave. You need to get out more, sis."
Min-Soo's grip relaxed slightly, and he leaned in closer, his voice low and husky."Shall we, Ji-Hyun?"
