Ji-Hyun's POV:~
"When time comes, you will know." What did he mean by that? Everything feels so surreal. I'm trapped in a nightmare, surrounded by strangers with unknown intentions. And then there's him... How will my life change when our paths cross again?
I was lost in my thoughts, when he suddenly leaned in, his mask is caressing my ear. "Don't worry... Everything will be alright," he whispered softly but\, with deep voice.***"Jagiya..."*** His gentle tone sent shivers down my spine. I can't see his face but\, I know he's smirking inside his mask.
Wait. What did he say, Jagiya... This reminds me of Min-Soo. Shiver ran down to my spine. I don't want to admit that, I'm scared. I once again pushed him back. This time, I made it.
"Be in your limits. Don't act too smart." However, I summoned my courage and yelled back at him. Thankfully, my voice didn't tremble. Afterwards, I settled comfortably into my seat, gazing out the window. As I watched the scenery unfold, my eyelids grew heavy, and I drifted off to sleep.
I couldn't help it; lately, I'd been sleeping like a giraffe – catching Z's whenever I had a chance to relax. It was almost comical. Even now, I could sense his eyes on me, but I ignored him, letting myself slip deeper into slumber..."
Masked man's POV:~
After checking on her, I headed to the restroom, I spotted a flight attendant and approached her. "Excuse me, can I use my phone to send a message?"
She smiled. "Yes, you can use your phone in airplane mode. We also have Wi-Fi available on this flight if you'd like to connect to the internet."
"Great, thank you. How do I access the Wi-Fi?"
She handed me a small card with the Wi-Fi network name and password. "Just connect to our network, and you'll be able to access the internet.
I took the card and thanked her. " I Appreciate it."
I entered the restroom, locked the door, and pulled out my phone. I connected to the Wi-Fi network and opened my messaging app. I typed out a message to my brother.
'Here, Everything's going according to plan. I gave her a subtle scare. She's really sensitive, but trying to put on a tough act. I left her alone for a bit. What's the next move?'
'What did you do to scare her. Did you use your pervert ideas their?' I felt a surge of annoyance at my brother's message, but I knew he was just trying to push my buttons. I typed out a response...
'Hey, watch it. I didn't do anything that drastic. And besides, you know me better than that.' I paused, collecting my thoughts before continuing...
'But seriously, she's got a lot of pride. She's not going to back down easily. We need to be careful how we play this.' I sent the message and waited for my brother's response, wondering what our next move would be?
'I know she's more prideful than her appa. But, not too long. I'll crush her pride.'
'Yeah. You sure do. But, what should I do now? Should I leave her?'
'Ani. It's fine. Leave her for now. If you get a chance to torture her, you can do. But, be careful. Not the hard one's. Ok.'
"Understood." After sending the text, I stepped out of the restroom and returned to my seat. My gaze drifted toward her, and I found myself captivated by her beauty. Her bangs framed her eyes, her lips slightly parted, giving her an ethereal quality. I mentally scolded myself. What's wrong with me? I need to control myself. She's off-limits – my friend's sister. Yet, I couldn't shake off the sudden urge to do something mischievous. Impulsively, I pressed the button to summon the flight attendant.
"Do you need anything sir?" She asked.
"Yes. A glass of water, please."
"Sure, sir."
"Here, sir. Do you need anything else?"
"No, Thankyou." She smiled and went from here.
I drank some water from the bottle and then poured the remaining water on her dress. She jolted awake, her eyes widening as she took in her soaked dress. Her gaze shifted to me, and her expression darkened with anger
.
"What the heck are you doing?" She yelled at me, her voice echoing through the cabin. The surrounding passengers turned to stare. I remained calm, my tone even.
"Don't shout at me. It was just an accident." Her response caught me off guard. She grasped my collar, her fingers tightening around the fabric. I felt a surge of surprise at her sudden move.
"You expect me to believe that?" I shot back, my anger simmering. I grasped her hand, my grip tightening as I tried to process her accusation. She winced, her eyes flashing with pain, but I held firm. She had humiliated me in front of the other passengers, and I wasn't about to back down.
"Leave my collar, right now." I demanded, my voice low and even. But she refused to let go, her fingers still clenched around my collar despite my tight grip on her hand.
Her eyes flashed with defiance, but I could see the hint of pain in her expression. She tried to wrench her hand free, but I held firm. The atmosphere around us grew more tense, with passengers starting to murmur and shift uncomfortably in their seats.
"Let. Me. Go." she gritted, her voice low and even, but with an undercurrent of anger.
I leaned in, my face inches from hers, and hissed, "You first."
The flight attendant hurried over, her eyes scanning the tense scene. "Is there a problem, mam?" she asked, her tone calm and professional.
The woman's voice was icy. "I want to change my seat. Right now." Her eyes remained fixed on me, blazing with intensity. She stared at me with a piercing glare, her gaze cold and unyielding, like a challenge daring me to make another move.
The flight attendant hesitated. "But, mam—"
The woman's words were slow and deliberate. "I. Want. To. Change. My. Seat. Did you get it, mam?"
The flight attendant's eyes widened slightly at her forceful tone, but she maintained her composure. "Of course, mam. Let me check if there's an available seat." She glanced at me, before turning back to the woman. "Please, follow me."
She gathered her belongings and stormed off, leaving behind a trail of murmurs and stares. I stood up, my eyes scanning the surrounding passengers.
"Stop staring. The matter is over." My gaze swept across the cabin, ensuring I had everyone's attention.
"To whoever took videos, delete them immediately. Did you get that? If not, you might face consequences. Am I clear?" I demanded, my tone stern. I glanced around, wondering if anyone had indeed captured the altercation. Just to be sure, I reiterated my warning, my eyes lingering on the surrounding passengers.
"I'll take my revenge." Wait and watch. My brother's bride.
