You ever had a nightmare where you knew that you were dreaming but you could not wake up. It's like you have been paralyzed. You can do nothing at that moment but just wait. Wait for somebody to shake you and pull you out of that dream. 30th of December was like that nightmare of mine, out of which no matter how hard I tried I could not wake up.

I was unconscious. When I was forced to unconsciousness for a few moments I could feel my surroundings. I could hear people murmuring, I could feel them touching me but I couldn't do anything. It was like I could see them preparing my death bed. After a few moments I was fully knocked out, totally senseless.

I didn't realized what happened until I woke up almost half a day later. I could feel throbbing pain in my head. It was like someone was hammering a thousand nails into my head at once. I couldn't bear to open my eyes with so much pain. I looked around. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was in a dark pitch room absolute alone. For a moment I thought I was still in some kind of weird dream. I rubbed my eyes, pinched myself to wake up but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't change the reality. There was no lighting in the room except for a few rays which were coming through a small glass panel on the door.

I tried to get up and as took a few steps. I realized I was chained up by something. I looked down upon my feet only to find them being constrained by thick iron chains. I could not believe the reality. I tried to get close to the door and to peek through the glass panel on the door. I couldn't see anybody but I could hear people talking.

**murmur**\

\( low whisperings \)

Man 1-- what is the number of this package?

Man 2-- I don't know maybe it's 34th one.

Man 1-- This time it's a big deal. I hope we can earn a lot of profit.

Man 2-- Yeah I heard Mr zypher was very happy with previous delivery too. Maybe if he's in a good mood he will give us a lot more.

Man 1-- Hey don't say his name. What if someone heard us. We will be in a lot of danger. Do you want us to get killed.

Man 2-- Don't worry. There's nobody here. Btw have you seen his face. I heard he is a disfigured maniac.

Man 1-- I don't know man and I don't want to talk about this. Don't try to get us killed by talking about useless things. Our only concern is money. Focus on your job and stop gossiping around.

Man 2-- Ok fine fine. Stop bickering.

Man 1-- I wonder if she's up. She should have woken up by now. Should we check?

Man 2-- Yeah let's go check up on her****.

**click**\

\( lock unlocking\)

\(Arya suddenly runs back to bed and sits quietly\)

Man 1-- Oh, you up! Bit** why didn't you say anything.

Man 2-- Hey are you listening. why are you not replying?

Man 1-- See how she's all acting up. Do you think we will spare you if you don't say anything. Stupid woman!

Man 2-- Let me teach her a valuable lesson.

\(grabs Arya's hair and slaps her\)

Man 2-- Say something stupid woman.

\(Arya's still silent\)

\(Man 2 tries to beat her again\)

\(suddenly Man 1 stops him\)

Man 1-- Hey we can't bet her up like that. Remember ugly faces, less money.

Man 2-- Okk. we will leave you this time but if you try to act up again we won't spare you.

\(both turn to leave\)

\(suddenly arya speaks up\)

I want to talk to your boss.

\\(both stares at arya shockingly\\)

Note -- Hey lovely readers. It's me flutterby, the author of this novel. I wanted to tell you guys that it is my first time writing a novel so I am prone to make a lot of mistakes. Also my english vocabulary is not very vast. Although am trying very hard to improve it.
