Miracle Faith Madrigal POV

We just got back from the mall after buying things for our baby. He was overly excited.

Now, we're at home arranging the baby's things in what will be their room. It’s just Dwayne and me organizing everything because he doesn’t want the household staff to help—he said he wants us to do it ourselves.

Cleaning here, cleaning there, arranging here, arranging there, until everything was done.

"Finally, it's all finished," I exclaimed, and Dwayne laughed.

"Hubby, let's go. I'm hungry," I said, pulling him toward the kitchen.

"Baby, take it easy. You don’t seem like you're pregnant," he teased. I slowed down my steps.

We’re now in the kitchen, eating. After we finished eating, we headed to our room to rest.

We’re now lying down, cuddling.

"Hubby, have you thought of a name for our baby?" I asked.

"Not yet! How about you? Have you?" he replied with a question.

"I do! If it’s a boy, I’d like the name Wayne Jaixien. But if it’s a girl... I haven’t thought of one yet. You can decide on that, hubby."

"Alright, I'll come up with a name for our baby if it’s a girl," he said.

"Hubby, I’m feeling sleepy."

"Go ahead and sleep," he replied while gently combing my hair with his fingers until I fell asleep.

Dwayne Lexus De Villa POV

I let my wife sleep because I knew she was tired today.

I left our room and went to the kitchen to cook dinner. I wanted to prepare a meal for my wife tonight.

I cooked chicken adobo and fried chicken. It only took me a few hours to finish cooking, and then I set everything on the table. Afterward, I went back to the bedroom to wake up Miracle.

When I opened the door, I saw my wife sleeping soundly. She’s such a deep sleeper. I walked closer to her.

"Wife, wake up, it’s time to eat," I said. She stirred a little.

"Hmmm," she murmured and turned to face me.

"It’s time to eat, wife," I said again.

She got up and held onto my arm, pulling me along.

We’re now in the kitchen.

"Wow, hubby, did you cook this?" she asked happily.

"Yes, baby, I did," I replied as I seated her and filled her plate with food.

She tasted it and smiled at me. She looks so cute when she smiles.

"Hubby, your cooking is so delicious. I didn’t expect you could cook," she praised me.

"My cooking is delicious, but I’m even tastier," I teased, which made her glare at me, and I ended up swallowing hard.

"Just kidding, baby."

"Don’t joke like that," she scolded.

After we ate, we returned to the bedroom since it was already nighttime, and she shouldn’t stay up late.

We both took quick showers before finally going to bed.
