Miracle Faith Madrigal POV

I was already on the stairs heading to the living room. I could already hear the voices of my mom and dad.

I was shocked when I saw who the guest was.

What the heck, why is he here?

"What are you doing here?" My voice had a mix of surprise and nervousness.

They all turned their attention to me. I noticed that Dwayne smiled at me, so I just rolled my eyes at nothing.

"I'm just visiting you and the baby," he teased me. When I looked at my mom and dad, they looked confused, even Michael.

I walked up to him and secretly elbowed him in the side, and he secretly groaned.

"What baby are you talking about, son!" My mom asked with a furrowed brow, making me even more nervous.

"M-mom, w-what, what do you mean?" I stammered, which made them all raise their eyebrows. I hadn’t even told my mom yet when Dwayne interrupted me again, so I couldn’t finish what I was going to say.

Please don’t tell them now. God, please no.

"Haven’t you told them yet?" Dwayne asked me. I just nodded in response.

"Son, is he your boyfriend?" My dad asked.

"Yes, I am your daughter’s boyfriend, and we plan to get married," Dwayne happily said to my parents. This shocked me, and I felt like I froze on my seat, processing everything he just said.

What the heck is this guy saying? I haven’t even told them that I’m pregnant yet, and now I have more problems.

"Are you okay? You seem out of it," my mom asked, bringing me back to reality.

"W-what do you mean, Mom? Could you repeat your question?" I stammered, making them all laugh.

When I glanced at Dwayne, he was biting his lip to stop himself from laughing. Go ahead and laugh now, you’re in trouble later.

"I asked why you’re only introducing him to us now," my mom asked again.

"I didn’t want you to get mad," I lied to them, going along with Dwayne’s story.

"Brother Dwayne! What do you mean by baby?" Michael asked Dwayne.

Why does my brother have to ask? This guy is really something. I have to go to the hospital tomorrow.

I was about to speak when Dwayne interrupted me. I looked at him, and he was grinning like he had something planned again.

"Your sister’s pregnant, and that’s why we plan to get married," he proudly said, then winked at me.

"You're pregnant?" they all asked in unison.

There’s no way out now. Damn it. "Y-yes," I answered nervously.

"Yes, I’m going to be a grandma!" My mom screamed in excitement.

"I’m going to be a grandpa too!" My dad happily added. They were so happy about the news, but I wasn’t.

"Son, stay here for dinner and spend the night," my mom offered.

"Yeah, Dwayne, you can sleep in Ate’s room," Michael said.

"Hey, no way. He can sleep in Michael’s room," I interrupted them.

"Ate, my room is too small, and it’s messier than yours. I haven’t cleaned it yet," my brother said.

"That’s true," my dad agreed, so I had no choice but to give in because they were all ganging up on me.

"Okay fine, I lost, I can’t do anything about it." I stood up and went to my room to tidy it up, change the bed sheets and pillowcases.

Afterward, I went to the dining area since they were already there.

I sat beside Dwayne and started eating. We ate quietly until we finished, and then we told them we were going upstairs to our room.

"Go shower, here’s the clothes I borrowed from Michael," I told him.

"Thanks."

He went to the bathroom and started showering. I could hear the sound of water from the shower. After he was done, I went in next.

"Let’s sleep now," he said.

I lay down next to him, and we started to sleep. I felt his arm around me and his body pressing against my neck, but I let him do it until I fell asleep.

Dwayne Lexus De Villa POV

The next morning, I woke up early because of the sunlight. I looked at Miracle, who was still sleeping soundly. I just watched her face, so peaceful.

She looked like an angel that fell to earth, so simple yet so beautiful.

She had smooth skin, a sharp nose, rosy lips, and long eyelashes.

She moved, so I quickly lay back down and pretended to be asleep. I felt her sit next to me and look at me.

"Why are you so handsome?" I heard her whisper. I secretly smiled.

"Dwayne, wake up, it's morning," she said, so I opened my eyes.
