I was at a loss for words and my body was still a bit shaken up, it was as if my ear was ringing loudly and I was scared that's for sure, but there's another feeling... I think it's thrill even though my body was shaking, Leonardo used a hand and held me tight.

"Are you okay, how's your leg... I'm sure the first bullet scraped it" he said, and I looked at him, I was so ready to say that the first one missed, but then a sting registered in my brain, and soon it became an agonizing pain that I would have screamed because of it, but Leonardo was holding me which made me feel okay a bit, plus, I didn't want to look weak.

" Shit, you are bleeding Camila" he said in a slight panic... He is worried. I looked down at my leg and I saw the reddish purple skin that bled at my ankle region.

I started hearing galloping coming towards us and when I turned, they were about 10 men on horse with bandanas tied to cover their mouths,, and noses and they were all with swords.

" Just try... I'll try to outrun them" he said,, and before I could say anything, he supported me and turned me to face him

"Why are they after us, I mean the person even hired a sniper" I asked

" I don't know what is going on but for now we need to get back safely. You said that you hunt right?" Leo asked and I nodded positively

" Then, there's a gun beneath my saddle, take it and shoot at them"

" But... Killing a boar or a deer is not nearly the same as killing a human being Leo" I said while feeling a little flustered, he stared at me for a little while then he shook his head and goth his eyes back on the path

"Take the gun and shoot... I know you can" he said then gave an assuring smile. I put an arm around him and the other, I used to pick up the gun then he picked up speed the moment I was balanced... Damn, I wouldn't have beat him in that race if he had put in this much effort. I aimed for one of the bad guys then I shot and it hit him right in the chest and the guy fell off the horse.

" Oh shit, I just killed an actual human being Leo, damn I am so amazing do you know that?" I said excitedly

"Yeah, you are an amazing woman indeed" he said then ruffled my hair a bit, I know I'm blushing, but I just looked back at the men coming after us who seemed to have gotten more angry,, but I don't mind, I'll just send them to my dad, they should tell him I said hi.

I shot the rest of them as though they were actually animals.

I slowly turned back with his help but then I started feeling dizzy, and he noticed it as well

"Are you okay, I think you've lost too much blood" he said

" Maybe... Can we get back? I think I'm going to pass out" I managed to say

" I will take you back through the south gates so that the attacker won't have another chance at us" Leo said but I was already starting to close my eyes and drift off, no problem, Leonardo is going to take care of me and with that I slept off.
