Damon walked towards the door as the room descended into chaos. Just as he opened the door to leave, a sharp pain pierced his abdomen.
CRASH!
Surprise and fury were reflected on his face. Damon tightly gripped the hand that held the knife embedded in his abdomen. In front of him, an older man, his eyes full of resentment, trembled with rage.
"You made me lose my job for being an incompetent leader! Do you know how many employees like me were fired because of this company's losses? It's your fault, you idiot!" the man shouted.
Some present screamed while the security guards rushed to subdue the attacker. Blood gushed from Damon's abdomen, who remained standing, imposing, although his breathing began to become difficult.
He was quickly taken to the nearest hospital. Although they had also called an ambulance for Delon, Damon made his position clear.
"I don't want to share transport with that idiot," he said, his tone cold and commanding, even at such a critical moment.
"Understood, sir," replied Tommy, his assistant, carrying him towards the car in the basement of the building.

Shortly after, Damon arrived at the hospital and was received by the medical staff. However, the emergency room was crowded due to an accident on the nearby road. There were no beds available, and moving him to another hospital was not an option due to the severity of his injury.
"WHERE IS THE STRETCHER?!" shouted Tommy, his pheromones permeating the air in a desperate attempt to control the situation.
A doctor quickly entered the emergency room, analyzing the chaos. His gaze fixed on Damon, sitting on the floor and holding his bloody abdomen.
"Take him there," ordered Eiran, pointing to a bed in an empty room.
Tommy carried Damon on his back and took him to the bed. He had barely placed him down when Eiran approached with a first aid kit. Upon recognizing Damon, his expression changed slightly.
"Him again? Why does this arrogant alpha always appear in my way?" he thought, although he maintained professional calm.
Eiran began to remove his shirt, revealing not only the wound but also the distinctive tattoo on his neck that had recognized him days before.
"The wound is deep, but it didn't reach vital organs," said Eiran as he quickly assessed the situation. He also noticed Damon's bloody hands, a sign that he had tried to stop the knife.
Damon, although pale, watched Eiran in silence. The omega's voice was familiar to him, and his scent, mixed with calming pheromones, filled the room, dissipating some of the tension.
"This time you can't escape from me," Eiran murmured as he began to stop the flow of blood.
Damon remained silent, although his penetrating gaze did not leave Eiran. The intensity of both pheromones filled the room, creating a heavy atmosphere that isolated the noises of the crowded emergency room.
Eiran worked with speed and precision. He injected anesthesia around the wound and began to suture it. Damon made no sound of pain, maintaining his characteristic indifference, but his eyes remained fixed on the omega.
"Done. I hope we don't meet again because of something like this," said Eiran as he finished, covering the suture with a large white patch.
"Thank you, doctor," said Tommy, bowing slightly.
Eiran gave him a slight smile before looking at Damon, who was beginning to get up.
"I'm leaving right now," Damon declared, his tone firm.
"You can't. You need to stay under observation for at least twenty-four hours. We need to make sure there is no infection," replied Eiran, facing him with a firm gaze.
The scent of Damon's pheromones intensified, as if trying to impose his will, but Eiran did not back down. Although he was an omega, his determination rivaled that of any alpha.
"This is non-negotiable, sir. If you don't follow my instructions, the consequences will be your responsibility," added Eiran, with a mixture of authority and calm in his voice.
For the first time, Damon didn't know what to answer, and he simply lay down again, although with his gaze fixed on the omega who had challenged him.
