Trouble

Still recovering from the incident, she sat up straight on her bed thinking how she behaved like an teenager. If not for Charles being understanding and sensible enough to leave her alone in her apartment things would have been much worse with no going back. She would be leaving a life full of guilt. Charles was her only friend in an unknown place,she doesn't want to cut tie with her one and only friend. Exhausted she laid back on her bed, her face was red from embarrassment, she buried her head in pillow, lying soulless.

She was startled by her phone, which started ringing suddenly. Taken back by the sudden voice she sat up straight and grabbed her phone. He lips twitched seeing the name displaying on her phone. It was her brother who lives in Scotland, she left her past and buried it deeply inside her heart and mind. Her brother was her only family left, he was selfish and immature but in spite of everything he once truly loved her. Everything changed because of those incidents, she stared at her phone and without giving him a chance she spoke first "I will transfer the amount to you by tomorrow". With that she pulled the phone back and when she thought the line went dead she heard her brother voice. He sounded like he was on verge of dying. Concern over took her,hearing her brother's weak voice, her heart started aching. No matter how much she ignores her brother existence, she still loved her. Once they were a happy family. But those incidents changed everything and took away all the things precious to her even her brother. Once again she heard a voice but it was not her brother, it was a stranger voice "You want your brother back, pay us 10 million dollars and if not you can **** off". Not giving any chance to the stranger to speak she replied first, " You can have the money but leave my brother, do not harm him or else you will not be able to bear the consequences ".

Laughing maniacally he answered" I will wait for your sweetie but don't let me down, I just want money you can have your brother ". With that line went dead. Even in this situation she was calm and composed which showed her personality and how fearful she is. She wanted to save her brother but saving her brother meant going back to living hell. She knew her brother has turned into an alcoholic and is used to sleeping around but never in her lifetime she thought her brother would get himself in such a situation.It has been more than a year since she left Scotland and she was not yet ready to face her past, at least not yet. And so going back to Scotland was out of her option list. Money was not a problem for her, she had earned enough to pay her brother debt but still she needed to talk to him if she wants her brother back without returning overseas.
