The next day, Adeline went to her father to reveal everything she

had discovered. But as she stood behind him something felt off-

uneasy, almost as if the air around her had shifted. She couldn’t

explain it, but her instincts told her something wasn’t right. Confused,

she called her father. He turned around, and in that moment, her

world seemed to freeze. Her eyes widened in shock. She couldn’t

process what she was swing. Her father- this man she has trusted and

adored- had the same tattoo she had seen on the people in the

underworld. The triangle with a snake wrapped around it. Her

breath caught in her throat. She couldn’t believe it. She had always

seen her father as her protector, the one who would never hurt her.

But now, in that moment the truth hit her like a gut punch. The man she had called “dad” was somehow connected to the darkness she

has uncovered. How could this be? Adeline compose herself and

walked away from her father, her mind racing. The only people who

could help her now were the police. She rushed towards the station,

determined to find answers. As she neared the entrance, a van

pulled up, and to her horror, the police chief stepped out. She froze,

her heart pounding as she saw the same tattoo on his neck.

That was the moment it hit her: she had fallen into an abyss of

corruption and lies. The realisation was staggering. Everyone she had

trusted- the people she had trusted- the people she thought were

her protectors- was connected to the very darkness she had

uncovered. Her own father had killed her sister for money, and now

she understood the depth of the betrayal. As anger and helplessness

rushed within her, Adeline promised herself that she would make

them pay. Though she was still just a teenager, she swore to seek

revenge for the children who suffered at the hands of these greedy,

inhuman beings. She would bring them down, no matter the cost.
