Arranged Hearts

Riya, a young woman in her mid-20s, has always valued her independence and career. Raised in a modern family, she believes in making her own choices, especially when it comes to love. Her parents, however, hold onto traditional values, and have always hinted that she should start thinking about marriage. When they begin the process of finding a suitable groom for her, Riya is furious. She doesn't believe in arranged marriages and feels trapped by the pressure of family expectations.

One day, during a family gathering, Riya’s parents introduce her to Vikram, a man they consider a perfect match for her. Vikram, in his early 30s, is a successful businessman with a calm demeanor and traditional values. However, he shares Riya’s reluctance towards the whole concept of arranged marriage. He’s a man who values the idea of love and companionship but has agreed to meet Riya out of respect for his parents, who are eager to see him settled down.

The first meeting is awkward, with both Riya and Vikram making no effort to connect, each thinking the other is just another person trying to uphold societal norms. Despite their indifference, Riya agrees to continue meeting Vikram, only to please her parents. Riya apologizes for her doubts, and Vikram admits his own fears. They have both come to terms with the reality of their situation: their relationship may have started as an arrangement, but it has grown into something far more meaningful.

In the end, Riya and Vikram choose to marry, not because they were bound by tradition or obligation, but because they have learned to trust each other and recognize that love doesn’t always follow a predictable path.
