Episode 4: Black Hole

Standingi before a black hole was Owen who was tightly gripping the ground with his toes through his shoes to resist the sucking.

‘What a ridiculous physical strength….’ The Dulahan thought.

Before them was the black hole that had already grown from a mere fist-sized black hole into a black hole that could fit three adult males whole to the point it sucked and destroyed the nearby tomb gate.

“Ah, it seems that this black hole has opened a path for us to enter the tomb!” Owen said as his face lit up.

“Um, why don’t you go do something about that first.” The Dulahan spoke as his fire formed a hand made out of fire and pointed at the ever increasing black hole, now at the size that would fit a car.

“Please don’t get too close, I need some personal space.” Owen said as his palm made physical contact with the black hole.

The black hole suddenly shuddered.

‘It’s alive!?!???????’ The Dulahan face was decorated with a more flabbergasted expression.

As if retaliating out of fear and pride, the black hole grew at a faster rate and became so big it went past the atmosphere and almost reached a neighboring planet.

The black hole shook as if feeling happy that it managed to kill Owen… if only that was the case.

From the ground there was Owen that had moved the black hole to only expand to the sky.

The black hole couldn’t expand through Owen’s body and expand by moving away from his body hence if it were to be left alone then it would consume over 70% of the planet.

But Owen carefully grabbed it and put it above his head so that if it were to expand and pushed back, it would expand to the open sky into the boundless cosmos.

Realizing the reality both the Dulahan and the black hole seemed stunned and horrified.

“That’s quite rude, anyway destroying nature is kinda bad, even though I almost wiped out a whole mountain range but it’s quite irrelevant, still though we need to take care of the world.” Owen said as he gave the black hole a thumbs up with a reassuring smile.

“Oh, and I can’t let you do as you please, so come with me!” Owen said as he grabbed the black hole and compressed it into a ball at the size of a tennis ball.

Seeing the environment, Owen couldn’t help but muttered, “Damn, it’s kinda empty, anyway let’s head inside!”

“Yeah, let me light the path and lead us to the riches!” The Dulahan said as he was carried on Owen’s left hand and the black hole was tightly gripped in his hand.

With both of his companion, Owen walked into the tomb

“Owen, there’s 3 floors for us to descend into, the first floor has nothing other than traps.” The Dulahan spoke as Owen swiftly move from one obstacle to another at an incredible speed and efficiency.

“I see, so we need to go down right?” Owen muttered as he hold the Dulahan’s head towards the deep and dimly lit staircase that descended into the second floor.

Descending the stairs Owen calmly pulled out objects from his pocket too eat such as fruits, mostly berries that he collected, over 30 of them are poisonous though, a lethal one at that.

“This is quite bitter, disgusting. I honestly like the spicy one better.” Owen casually muttered to himself as he continued to eat.

‘Isn’t that fruit poisonous? Nothing really surprises me anymore…’ The Dulahan thought as he sighed by releasing a small fire breath.

As they reached the second floor, they were greeted by the inhabitants which were undeads, their soulless eyes staring at Owen and their fleshless arm tightly wrapped around their blade handle.
