NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

After a few seconds of closing her eyes and waited for her demise, Hikaru opened them abruptly because she sensed a change. She opened eyes and saw a man facing the other man, standing in front of her, holding the hand of another man who was going to attack her. The man with the heavy hood was likewise hiding his face.

The man in front grabbed the other man's hand, lifted it, and slammed it onto the road, causing snow to scatter everywhere.

At the same time the man stood again, and furiously, he was about to charge at the one who saved Hikaru.

But he held it by the face with his palm and flipped it onto the road; the road broke, and the man who was about to kill Hikaru was bloodied.

At the same time, the mysterious man grabbed the unconscious guy's clothes and lifted it using his one hand; he turned and was preparing to leave.

Hikaru was staring blankly while looking at him and was amazed at what was happened.

"What is your name?" Hikaru shouted the question while sitting on the ground.

Hikaru asked the man with his back turned, wearing a dark hood, who only turned to her but showed only half of his face.

The man didn't reply and jumped so high as if flying, with the moon in front of it in the sky.

Hikaru went home after that, still dazed by what happened while sitting on the couch.

"What happened to her?" Kagumi asked while brushing his teeth.

"I don't know; I've been asking her for a while now, and she still won't answer." Alice's voice while watching TV.

"She's been like that since she got home; she hasn't said a single word". Dave's expression while eating chips.

Kagumi looked at her in a glimpse and then went back to the faucet to rinse his mouth.

"Let it be; maybe she has a big problem", the old man said while reading a newspaper.

"Let's go to sleep; I'm so excited for tomorrow," Alice said, and then turn off the lights.

Meanwhile, on the other hand

"Which clan are you from?" I asked the man who wanted to attack Hikaru earlier.

"w-wolf fang". The man said haltingly while I was choking him.

"The one led by the crazy scientist?" I asked him while choking and lifting him.

"Yes", he said in a soft voice.

Wolf Fang, the notorious scientist conducting experiments on people, injects those who join his clan with his experimental serum that alters their identity. It enhances their speed and strength, but the trade-off is an insatiable craving for human entrails. I said to myself while choking the man "so interesting"

"In your eyes, you look like an alpha type," I said to him.

but I didn't care and tightened the choke until his head separated from his body.

While I can clearly see the blood splattering in the moonlight.

I went to the house in the middle of the forest where we all slept together before, and to satisfy my hunger, I ate the animals in the forest.

I picture Hikaru's expression when I first met her while I'm lying on the old bed. I'm not sure why, but I was beckoned by a scent and heard a voice calling my name. When I spotted Hikaru standing at the bus stop, seemingly staring at something, I followed the scent and leaped onto a big tree branch. As soon as I turned to see who was standing on the opposite side, I detected a bad odor and knew that the one in front of her wasn't human.

But I still wonder why, when I saw Hikaru, the scent that was attracting me suddenly disappeared.

"I miss them"

but I can no longer go back to them; they are happy with their lives now. I whispered to myself while staring at the roof of the old house until my eyes closed.

"Jiju didn't come back!" The man in the black hood spoke to the scientist,

"It's already eight hours then." The woman on the side, also wearing a black hood, spoke.

"What are you still doing?" Go find him!" Shouted the scientist.

While one by one they vanished without a sound, leaving behind dark smoke drifting in the wind.

"What do you think happened to Jiju, Luna?" Cimson said while quickly jumping from branch to branch of the tree.

"I don't know; I can't say until I see it". Luna's voice was barely audible.

In their jump, Crimson noticed something they had passed.

"Just a moment!" Upon returning, they saw Jiju's body lying down without a head.

Crimson examined the body and said,"This wasn't done by a human, Luna".

"The neck wasn't cleanly severed". It's obvious that it was done by someone like us."
