Max:the only way to get back is .....to kill my arch nemesis....

Keiara:wait, you're in love with her, aren't you?

Max:get down!

Keiara: what's going on?

Max: we're under attack!

*IN THE PRESENT*

Keiara:Max, what's going on?!

Max:shhh........

Keiara:wha-..... don't tell me to shush!

Max:well then be quiet!

Keiara: ugh, you're so annoying, and I haven't even known you for an hour...

Max:will you just keep quiet!

Keiara: Make me!

Max:(blushes) what?!

Keiara:(blushes)wait..... that came out wrong....

We were so busy hiding from whatever broke in that I didn't realize that Max was ....on top of me .... I didn't say anything though.....

Max:I think they're gone...

Keiara:great ...now can you get off me?...

Max:wha-...ah ...oh...(chuckles and jumps up)

He offered me his hand and ... I took it...he was still acting strange and...seemed a bit too nice....hey, I know what you're thinking..."c'mon Keiara, he's just being nice..." Well in my defense, I don't think I can trust anyone now, especially after the 'Nova' incident.... In fact... what was I even doing here...with a stranger...who claims to be my friend from the future?!?.....well, I guess anything's possible in Arcadia...

Max:uhh, Keiara,are you okay?

Keiara:yeah, why wouldn't I be?

Max:cause, you were just staring into the distance and talking to.....I actually have no idea what you were talking to ...

Keiara:that...(gestures into that direction), that's the invisible audience...

Max:so...you were always this weird(laughs and pats her on the head)

Keiara:get off me....(mumbles)pedophile...

Max:what did you just call me?!?

Keiara:I mean if we're friends in the future, then ....how old are you...

Max:(dumbfounded)I said I was from the future, not centuries into the future, you imbecile!

Keiara:then how old are you…

Max:I literally came like 6 months from the future

Keiara:wait, so how long have I known you for?

Max:5 months....and .....28 ...days...uhh... we're here!

Keiara:so I just walk in there, and it will be like nothing happened…

Max:yeah...oh and .. you're about to be fired....see ya around ...Keiara(soft smile)

Before I could even turn around ....he was....gone …how could he just leave me there… I mean who were those guys that broke in...and what happens now... I just act like nothing happened....and when I do meet Max... will he even remember me...or will it just be like normal …will I remember him …and what happens if I don't remember him ....

I tried to keep my cool, but this was all too much, I then walked into the café feeling so irritated by what Max had done ...how could he just leave me like that!

Manager:You there! You're late ...again...!!!

Keiara:(says sarcastically)please don't fire me, I couldn't bare the agony.....(blank stare)

Manager: you're fired!

Keiara: whatever, old man...

I walked out of the restaurant when the Announcer started shouting ...

Announcer: everyone gather round....

A huge crowd formed ,and got stuck in the middle of it... whatever this is ...it better be good ...

Announcer: everyone, in a few days...you all will be divided into different groups... Supers...and Villains…..you will all receive an arch nemesis...in order to change your story and have your name in history...one of you ...must ...die ..

This is exactly what Max was talking about...wait....was I gonna to get one... I mean …people already looked at me like I was an outsider...ya know ...not having superpowers...at least ... that's what they thought … I couldn't just tell the whole world that I was the last Glitch ... especially because everyone was terrified of them...I wonder if Max knew I was a Glitch...

Everyone was squealing in happiness…everyone except me…

Announcer:you there...

Keiara(looks around)...me?

Announcer:you look familiar...

Keiara:must be a small world then (awkward laugh)

Announcer: (whispers in her ear)you need to come to The Palace...

Keiara:for what…

Announcer (whispers even softer)Keiara … It's me... Carter...

...Carter...ugh.... I'm guessing you're wondering...

Who he is now....and I'm guessing I have to tell you.... Carter is....a crazy psychopath that won't leave me alone...

Carter(Announcer):I need to tell you something....

Keiara:I don't want to hear it Carter...

Carter:but it's important, c'mon Kiki... don't be like that...

Keiara: DON'T call me that again .... okay

I noticed that my hands were that glowing pink again.... I had to get out of that area...what would they do if-....

Carter: your hands, (says softly) they're....glowing....pink ...(looks up at me) c'mon....you have to get out of here....

I didn't expect that from Carter .... he's changed, a lot...did I mention that he tried to kill me once... yep....he thought I was...a robber... I guess he was trying to make up for his mistakes now...

He took me to the back of The Palace...and we hid there until my hands stopped glowing...

Keiara: thanks Carter...

Carter: anytime....

We walked out of The Palace and as we said our goodbyes, I turned around and bumped into someone...

Keiara:oh...sorry…I

He looked awfully familiar...he was really cute too...

Stranger: it's okay...wait can I say something …

Keiara:Umm...yeah...sure…

Stranger: it's just that, I feel like I know you...

Keiara:same

Stranger: I'm Max

Keiara:oh shit....
