Later that day, Dekisugi approached Nobita with his usual calm demeanor, masking the storm brewing inside him.

“I saw you talking to Shizuka earlier,” Dekisugi said casually, though his sharp gaze betrayed his curiosity. “What was it about?”
Nobi Nobita
Nobita hesitated, unsure if he should mention Shizuka’s warning. “Oh, it was nothing important. Just school stuff.”
Dekisugi
Dekisugi’s eyes narrowed slightly, though his smile remained. “You know you can tell me anything, right? I’m here for you.”
Nobi Nobita
Nobita nodded quickly, his childlike trust shining through. “I know. Thank you, Dekisugi.”

Dekisugi’s smile widened, but his thoughts darkened. Shizuka’s getting too close. I’ll have to deal with her soon.
After school, Dekisugi lingered near the gates, waiting for Shizuka. When she finally appeared, he fell into step beside her, his presence as composed as ever.

“Shizuka,” he began, his voice smooth, “you seem to care a lot about Nobita. That’s admirable.”

Shizuka glanced at him warily. “Of course, I do. He’s my friend.”

Dekisugi nodded, his tone friendly but laced with subtle menace.

. “Then you’ll understand that he doesn’t need unnecessary stress. Sometimes, too much meddling can hurt more than help.”

Shizuka stopped walking, turning to face him. “What are you trying to say, Dekisugi?”

Dekisugi’s smile didn’t waver. “Just that I hope you’ll trust me to take care of Nobita. After all, I know him better than anyone."
Shizuka clenched her fists, but before she could respond, Dekisugi walked away, leaving her with a chill running down her spine.
Nobita’s days grew quieter. Where once Shizuka, Doraemon, Gian, and Sunio filled his world with laughter and chaos, now it was only Dekisugi who remained constant. Subtly but effectively, Dekisugi had begun isolating Nobita from his friends.
At first, Nobita didn’t notice. Dekisugi was always there when he needed help or company. But now, he couldn’t ignore the silence when he walked into class or the distance growing between him and his friends.
Despite Dekisugi’s veiled threats, Shizuka wasn’t ready to give up. She approached Doraemon, Gian, and Sunio during lunch.

“I don’t care what you think, but something’s wrong with Dekisugi,” she said firmly. “He’s keeping Nobita away from us. We need to do something.”

Doraemon frowned. “I’ve been noticing it too. Nobita’s been too dependent on him lately.”

Sunio scoffed. “What can we do? Dekisugi’s practically glued to Nobita. He doesn’t let him breathe!”

Gian cracked his knuckles. “If he’s messing with Nobita, I’ll teach him a lesson.”

“No,” Shizuka interjected. “We need to be smart about this. Dekisugi is too clever. We need proof before we confront him.”
That evening, Dekisugi visited Nobita at home, carrying a bag of his favorite snacks. Nobita greeted him with a warm smile, but Dekisugi noticed the slight hesitation in his expression.

“Nobita, are you okay? You seem... distant,” Dekisugi said, his voice filled with concern.
Nobi Nobita
Nobita sighed. “It’s just... Shizuka and the others. They don’t talk to me as much anymore.”

Dekisugi’s eyes darkened, but his tone remained soft. “Maybe they’re just busy. Or maybe... they’re jealous of how close we’ve become.”
