"This kid is a clown! All his outfits aren't even worth ten dollars. Does he even know what ten million dollars is?"

"I think you should go back to your sleep because this can only happen in your nightmares."

The onlookers were making comments, including Michael's colleagues.

Vivian was feeling a little awkward. She knew Michael's worth and even his background. There's no doubt that it might cost him his entire life before he could make just ten thousand dollars.

Where would he find ten million dollars then?

This time, she felt she had been carried away by Michael's confidence.

"Michael, you do want to make the payment?" Vivian asked as she returned to reality.

"Of course, yes. Take the card and proceed with the transaction." Michael's voice remained calm and relaxed.

With doubt, Vivian collected the card.

The machine for bigger transactions was provided. Vivian inputted the amount and swiped the card.

Unfortunately, the machine signaled a red light, declining the transaction. A cold sweat broke out on Vivian's forehead.

Heavy laughter erupted, and Jack's voice was the loudest.

"I never believed you could fall for tricks so easily, Vivian. Do you have to think like this fool? You should know he's only dramatizing a series he watched on TV." Jack smirked.

"Jack, just because you can't afford the amount doesn't mean others cannot too." Michael's lip curled slightly.

"Oh really? Do you think the transaction would have declined if you had sufficient balance on your card?" Jack couldn't hold back his laughter.

Michael said to him in a serious tone, "Too much talk is unnecessary. Allow Miss Noah to do her job."

"Give it another try, Miss Noah," Michael urged the gorgeous woman.

Even though Vivian was already getting exhausted with the whole situation, the three percent Mr. Peterson promised her tightened her interest.

She tried the card twice again, but nothing changed. There was another round of thunderous laughter in the restaurant, which was more embarrassing than the previous ones.

This time, Michael's mind was slightly worried. He understood that the system was more real than fake. He wondered why his card was declined. After all, he was now the wealthiest man alive.

Just then, Michael heard the robotic voice in his head.

[As the wealthiest man in the world, the least transaction you can make is one hundred million dollars.]

Michael's brow knitted slightly. The information was somehow weird, but he never doubted it.

Amidst the ongoing mocking comments and laughter, Michael called Vivian's attention.

"I've changed my mind. I want to buy Skyline for one hundred million dollars. Miss Noah, Input one hundred million on the machine and swipe the card."

"Nah! This is the end of it!"

"At this point, you need to put a stop to this nonsense."

The onlookers didn't find this funny. They felt Michael was only making them all seem like fools.

Even Vivian was at her limit. She was worried about what Jack Harris might plot against her if it ended up that Michael was just playing the fool.

"At least you should be a bit sensible when displaying your nonsense. Do you even know what one hundred million dollars means?" Jack frowned and looked away.

"We will find out soon," Michael said, watching Vivian as she operated the machine.

Jack glared at her and sneered, "I would crawl before him if the transaction is successful."

Immediately the words fell, Vivian swiped the card, and the machine beeped. They were all startled when they saw the machine signal a green light.

"Congratulations on your purchase, Mr. Quinn. The transaction of one hundred million dollars was successful," Vivian announced.

"Never!"

"It's impossible! Where does a poor man like him find one hundred million?"

"This must be a stolen card."

The onlookers were commenting before Vivian provided the transaction slip. Despite Michael's name being on the slip, they still found it hard to believe.

Then, Jack smirked, "Kid, is this the level of your intelligence? Do you think you can pull a scam trick before my eyes and I wouldn't find out?"

Jack brought out his phone and dialed Mr. Peterson's number. The businessman's voice came through at the other end instantly.

"There is good news, Jack. A potential buyer named Michael Quinn just bought Skyline for one hundred million instead of ten million. The transfer of ownership is already in process." Mr. Peterson sounded very happy.

Jack's eyes bulged, and he began to stammer, "I suspected... that this might be... a scam."

"What rubbish are you saying, Jack? Tell Vivian I've sent her ten percent of the payment as a reward." The man ended the call, and Jack's butt thumped onto the floor.
