Yin Hua's face turned bright red in anger!
Lu Liuguang chuckled mischievously, still completely unaware of the looming danger.
He picked up Yin Hua and plopped her onto his lap. His handsome face leaned into her shoulder as he took a deep breath.
Yin Hua was paralyzed with shock, her little body trapped by his thick arms. She dared not move as his hot breathing tickled her ear and grew heavier by the second.
"Lu Liuguang, what are you doing?" she stammered.
"Hugging my wife."
After a couple of minutes, still on her fragrant shoulder, he gently bit down with his teeth on a small section of her dress fabric. He quickly reined himself in, though-mostly because he knew that would make her unhappy.
Yin Hua furiously clenched her fists and muttered under her breath, "Crazy! Pervert! Scoundrel! Jerk!"
"What's wrong with being infatuated with my wife's body?"
He's crazy! A complete maniac!
"No way!" she protested.
"Just wait, tonight, let me tear it off," Lu Liuguang murmured in his deep voice with teases.
Knowing that he was going to marry Yin Hua, Lu Liuguang had renovated the house a lot according to her preferences.
He also custom-made a great big walk-in closet for her, filling it with every type of garment, handbag, shoes, trinkets, and accessories one might want, just so that she would be satisfied.
"In your dreams!"
"If this were a dream," he whispered, "you'd already be mine by now, holding onto my neck and clinging to my waist, afraid of falling off."
Yin Hua's face burned.
What kind of position was that?
"Stop calling yourself Lu Liuguang. From now on, it's Lu the Pervert!"
Lu Liuguang chuckled wickedly. "You can call me whatever you want, wifey. It's all part of the fun. I get it."
AH!!! She wanted to scream. This man is impossible!
By the time they reached Yin Hua's art gallery, she had a bad feeling.
Business at the gallery was always relatively stable, with most customers being friends and acquaintances. But today, the place was abnormally full.
Probably because she married Lu Liuguang yesterday.
People were probably buying her paintings to get on good terms with him.
Yin Hua went up the staff staircase, leaving Lu Liuguang in her office while she attended to her work.
But Lu Liuguang just would not budge from her side.
Sitting in her chair, he noticed family photos on the desk: one of her parents, Yin Hua, and her younger brother Yin Song, and another of just the siblings.
None of him.
This wouldn't do. Now that they were married, there needed to be a photo of him.
He quickly messaged his assistant, who soon arrived with a picture frame.
He placed their wedding photo on her desk.
In it, the brilliant smile on Yin Hua's face shone as bright as the stars. Even without feelings of love, she was able to look breathtakingly beautiful during the ceremony.
"My wife is so good-looking," he muttered, with pride, as he stared at the photo.
Just then, the voice of Yin Hua echoed at the head of the hallway, but the office door didn't open.
She hadn't come in.
Lu Liuguang went out into the hall and saw that she had just gone into another room, along with a man.
A man!
And he was all too smiling to suit Lu Liuguang.
That was why he married Yin Hua the moment he could-she was too enticing, and he couldn't let anyone else swoop in.
Inside the tea room, Shen Zui admired the paintings on the wall but couldn't stop his eyes from drifting back to the ring on Yin Hua's finger.
Just two months ago, she didn't even have a boyfriend yet, and now she was married.
"I was out of town and couldn't make it to your wedding," Shen Zui said, placing a gift on the table. "Congratulations on your marriage."
"Thank you," she replied politely.
"Wife\~"
Lu Liuguang strolled in casually, taking the seat next to her. "Want some cake, sweetheart?"
Yin Hua looked at the blueberry mousse cake in his hand. Who eats cake so early in the morning? Was he trying to fatten her up?
"Lu Liuguang, I don't want any right now. I'm busy. If you're bored, go find something to do!"
Lu Liuguang set the cake down and wrapped his arm around her waist.
"My mission today is to stay by my wife's side."
His audacity! Could he move his hand?!
Yin Hua glared at him but held back in front of others.
As Shen Zui took his leave, he smiled. "I really like the paintings. I won't intrude any further. Take care."
Once Shen Zui was gone, Yin Hua returned to her office, where she noticed the new picture frame on her desk.
"How childish can you be, Lu Liuguang?"
"How am I childish?" he asked, leaning against the desk.
"Outsider disturbing my work and then bursting into my meeting, what do you call it-he was being childish. You know how you'd feel if I just walked in one of your meetings, started causing a ruckus?"
"If you did interrupt one of my meetings, sat on my lap, and fed me cake, I'd be on cloud nine!" Lu Liuguang grinned with twinkling eyes. "When can you come?
“I’m not doing that!” she said through gritted teeth, forcing a smile.
As she unwrapped Shen Zui’s gift, a beautiful necklace emerged. Its value was easily worth ten paintings.
Lu Liuguang’s eyes narrowed. A rival?
Before they could discuss further, the phone rang.
Yin Hua answered, and a sobbing voice came through.
“Jie… Jie…”
“Where are you?”
“It’s so dark…”
Yin Hua exchanged a look with Lu Liuguang—they had forgotten her younger brother!
Half an hour later, they returned home to find Yin Song having breakfast alone on the table. "Jie!" he exclaimed, standing up. "You no longer want me anymore, right?" "What are you talking about?" Yin Hua asked, sitting beside him.
"You've got a new dog now!" He cast a sharp glare at Lu Liuguang. "Jie, I'm your most loyal servant! Who understands you better than I do? Nobody! I should be the one serving you, not him!"
"Xiao Song, brothers and husbands are different," Lu Liuguang said nonchalantly, handing him a tissue. "Wipe your face. You're already ugly; crying makes it worse."
Yin Song was crushed. That was a low blow!
"What do you mean, ugly?! Look at my sister! Our family genes are excellent! There's no way I'm ugly!"
The pride of the school heartthrobs in this 19-year-old was deeply wounded.
"Jie, you tell him!" Yin Song clung onto Yin Hua's arm, imploring.
