"Lines Blurred"

he day was sunny, and everyone was gathered at the park for a picnic. Laughter and chatter filled the air as people sat on the grass, enjoying the fresh air. The bus, parked nearby, was a familiar sight, the perfect spot to sit and relax when the sun got too intense. But of course, nothing was ever peaceful for long with these four.

Jimin and Jungkook were already deep into their usual back-and-forth, their voices rising amidst the picnic chaos. It started harmlessly enough, but soon escalated.

"You seriously bought that?" Jimin scoffed, holding up Jungkook’s snack—a simple bag of chips. "Are you five? Chips? Really?"

Jungkook gave a sarcastic laugh. "Oh, please, at least I didn’t bring something that looks like a soggy towel," he retorted, glancing at Jimin’s sandwich.

Jimin raised an eyebrow. "Soggy towel? My sandwich is perfectly fine, thank you very much!"

Jungkook shot back, "It looks like it’s been through a blender."

Jimin, with a dramatic sigh, took a step forward. "You wanna talk about blenders? Look at your hair. You look like someone ran a vacuum through it."

Jungkook, unphased, smirked. "At least it’s not a disaster like yours. Should I start calling you ‘the sandwich of hairstyles’?”

As the argument went on, neither seemed willing to back down, and their usual banter continued without a second thought.

Meanwhile, Taehyung and Yoongi were having their own spat, though theirs was a bit sharper, laced with sarcasm.

Taehyung leaned against the bus, his arms crossed, eyes narrowing. "Oh, so now you're a genius, huh? Just because you act like you're the only one who knows anything?"

Yoongi tilted his head, his signature smirk appearing. "And you're the expert in what exactly? Acting tough? You’re just a drama queen."

Taehyung stepped closer. "Yeah? Well, at least I’m not afraid to speak my mind. You just pretend everything’s fine even when it’s falling apart.”

Yoongi let out a chuckle. "Please, you’re all talk. The moment things get real, you run away. Like always."

The tension was thick, but Jimin and Taehyung, still caught up in their own quarrels, didn’t notice how their words almost synced. Without realizing it, they had formed their own little team, trash-talking the other two without even thinking about it.

Jimin, still agitated by Yoongi’s comment, muttered, "Ugh, as if Yoongi doesn’t think he’s always the smartest guy in the room."

Taehyung smirked and shot a look at Yoongi. "Yeah, he thinks he knows it all, but does he actually get anything?"

Jungkook and Yoongi, on the other side, were inadvertently matching each other's energy. Jungkook shot a look at Taehyung, his lips curling into a grin. "At least some people here know how to get real for once."

Yoongi, still leaning against the bus, added, "Yeah, some people get it, but the rest are just stuck in their own little worlds."

It was clear now—without even trying, Jimin and Taehyung had aligned in their own little side against Yoongi and Jungkook. Without realizing it, they were supporting each other’s arguments while pretending to be enemies.

Jimin kicked the dirt in frustration. "Yoongi, you think you’re so clever, but you can’t even say anything without sounding like a know-it-all."

Taehyung shrugged. "He’s just one of those people who always thinks they’re right. But trust me, he’s just full of crap.”

Yoongi smirked, shaking his head. "And you, Taehyung, you’re just full of hot air. I’d love to see you try and back up all that talk."

Jungkook smirked, enjoying the weird vibe of the moment. "Honestly, you two are so predictable."

Jimin laughed, looking at him. "Yeah, but at least we’re not pretending we have all the answers like you guys."

...

For a brief moment, they all fell silent, realizing something odd. Jimin and Taehyung had, without even realizing it, formed an unspoken alliance. The same went for Yoongi and Jungkook. They had gone from petty arguments to something more... natural. A weird dynamic that, for whatever reason, they didn’t mind.

Jimin, still glaring at Yoongi, huffed. "I wish I had Taehyung as my little bro. He gets me, unlike you. You’re just a headache." He threw a glance at Jungkook, who smirked in response.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow, leaning back against the bus. "I’d trade you any day. At least Jungkook doesn’t waste my time with stupid arguments."

Jimin shot a look at Taehyung, who shrugged, not particularly bothered by the comment.

Jungkook, rolling his eyes, crossed his arms. "At least someone knows how to keep it real, unlike some people." He looked at Yoongi, the unspoken understanding clear between them.

Jimin kicked the ground again, exasperated. "Whatever. We both know who the real headache is here," he muttered, still stubbornly on his side of the argument.

Yoongi couldn’t help but smile, his attitude never changing. "Just admit it, Jimin. I’m right, you’re wrong."

Taehyung, seeing the bickering duo, leaned back, looking amused. "This is hilarious. You two fight like a married couple."

Jimin and yoongi shot him a look, both grinning at the comparison, even if they’d never admit it aloud.

bickering to be continued...
