The next day, Lee returned to his high school, the events at The Ember's Hearth still weighing heavily on his mind. As he made his way through the familiar halls, he was immediately surrounded by a group of his classmates, particularly the girls, who were drawn to the enigmatic Tafara.

"Lee! You have to tell us more about Tafara-senpai," one of the girls exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Lee blinked in surprise, not quite sure how to respond. "Uh, well, Tafara is... he's a family friend, I guess. He's been helping me with some personal matters."

The girls practically swooned, captivated by Tafara's calm, collected demeanor and his striking appearance, with his messy white hair and piercing black eyes.

Lee glanced at Tafara, then back at his classmates. "Uh, sure, Tafara-senpai. Lead the way."

As Tafara and Lee made their way through the bustling school, Lee couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Something about the atmosphere seemed off, as if a palpable tension hung in the air.

Tafara paused, his gaze sweeping the area. "Lee, do you feel that?"

Lee nodded, his brow furrowing. "Yeah, the air feels heavy, almost... suffocating."

Lee swallowed nervously, his heart racing as he followed Tafara, bracing himself for whatever threat loomed in the shadows.

The two continued their search, Lee's mind racing with questions and concerns. What could have infiltrated the school, and why were they targeting this place? As they rounded a corner, the source of the bloodlust became suddenly clear.

A figure materialized before them, their eyes glowing with a sinister light. Tafara immediately stepped in front of Lee, his stance protective, but he refrained from using his own Innate Resonance abilities. "So, you've finally shown yourself. What is it that you want?"

The figure let out a chilling laugh, their voice laced with malice. "I've come for the boy, of course. His Chaos Element abilities will be a valuable asset to the Dominion Division."

Lee's eyes widened in alarm, realizing that the Dominion's reach had extended even into his own school. Tafara's expression remained stoic, but Lee could sense the underlying tension in his posture.

"You'll have to go through me first," Tafara said, his voice low and unwavering, despite his reluctance to reveal his true powers.

The figure's lips curved into a twisted smile. "So be it."
