PROLOGUE

I looked at myself in the mirror. I had never felt this ugly in my life.

My neck was covered with hïckeys, my bréàsts were red and sore, and my nípples had bite marks. My eyes were puffy from crying, my voice raspy from móàning and screaming, and my lips swollen from his kisses. There were handprints all over my body where he had held me and changed positions. My legs were trembling, my back was aching, and I was sore all over.

Last night, he didn’t let me sleep for even a second. Whenever I closed my eyes, he started póúnding into me at inhuman speed. He used every right he had as my husband. Not an inch of my skin was left untouched.

An ugly sobbed escaped from my lips as I Looked my reflection in the mirror and the ring in my finger. All my life, I’ve been running from which monster. Now, I am carrying his marks all over me.
