" why did you bring me here ? You should be with her " That woman asked him ..

" I was tired by faking my smile infront of them .. I don't want to be with her .. I want to be with you .. " he replied as his hands snaked around her waist and dragged her near his chest . My heart beat raised I am sure what is next coming isn't going to be good

" But what if someone sees us ? " she told him ... the concern was evident on her Beautiful face ..

" I don't care .. " he replied like he really doesn't care ...

" But I care Ewan ... " she said and cupped his face " You know if you don't get the company in your name how are you gonna invest in my project .. you know how important it is for me ... " She said

.what project ? What are they talking about .. ?

Should I listen to them ? I shouldn't evesdrop their conversation .  I wanted to walkaway from there ..but my legs were like glued with the floor .. it wasn't moving .. my heart wanted to listen more ...

My legs became jelly I could fall at anytime . My heart was beating fast ..but in a bad way ...

I supported myself by the wall and tried to walk away from there as I didn't want to see them kissing each other . It Hurts so bad . Never in my worst dream I imagined that one day I'll witness something like this . My fiance is kissing some other woman in our engagement .

Today is our engagement party . But after that day when Ewan kissed me ..on my cheeks ., He never contacted me .. we never talked for once . I want to ask him so many things . so I was so determined to ask him my questions but as soon as I saw his handsome face smiling at me I forget about everything . I didn't want to ruin our day by my insecure feelings .. I just want to be happy and enjoy our engagement ,

Right now I'm standing in the hall infront of thousands guest with a big smile on my face . Ewan was talking with his business partners . He was wearing a blue Blazer with a peach color shirt . He was looking as always handsome . I was wearing a beautiful blue color full sleeve gown . Yes we are matching . It just made me smile .

I was busy in my thoughts when I felt a tap on my shoulder .

" What is our soon to be bride thinking ? " Emily asked me . She was wearing a red satin dress looking as always gorgeous .

" Nothing ..." I replied with a soft smile .

" Want to drink this juice ? " She offered me the same drink she was having . I accepted the drink she offered me and let my throat to wet.

I was drinking the juice and just look around here to there to see . Both of my aunt's were together with some guest. Dad and uncle was also busy with their important guests . Emily was dancing with some of her friends and My brothers were also busy with some of their friends . And my most important man my soon to be husband was chatting with his important guests and colleagues . and I'm here just smiling whenever people were coming to congratulate me .

I was busy watching people when my attention got caught by a beautiful woman who just entered the party . Not only mine everyone was watching at her attentively .

She was wearing a red off shoulder dress that stops just around her knee . Her hair were not so long and not so short medium going well with her long face . She was looking stunning . Her skin was glowing .. I'm just nothing infront of her . Ugh ! Why I'm comparing myself ?

But the next thing I saw made my heart dropped . Ewan walked towards her and hugged her . she gave him a ear to ear smile. wow she looks more beautiful when she is smiling. Her b✺✺bs pressed with his chest when they were hugging and I didn't like that a little bit . I again scolded myself I should not feel or see in the details . She might be a very close friend .... Yeah just friend .

She then whispered something in his ear and both of them turned my way . My cheeks turned red instantly and I looked away . I hope they didn't saw me checking them .

I was looking some other direction when with my pheripheral view I could see both of them walking towards me .

" Faith .. " Ewan called me . Now both of them were standing in front of me .

" Meet my friend Jackline " he introduced her to me . Yeah I told you just a friend .

" Hi .. nice to meet you . I'm Faith " I gave her my best smile . She also returned with her charming one .

" Hello .. congratulations " she said .

" Thank you " I also replied .

she then looked at me from head toe her gaze made me a little insecure about me... because really so gorgeous .. after checking me she looked at Ewan and smirked. Then she turned to me muttered " Excuse me please " and I just nod in response .

Then that girl excused herself from us and joined the group where Ewan was few minutes ago . It seems like she knows them well . may be someone related to business .

Soon our engagement ceremony started . Ewan put the ring on my finger and I did the same . Everyone clapped their hands . I was happy throughout the process . Dad , aunt , granny , uncle my brothers , Emily they all were so happy ..

But as soon as the ceremony was done Ewan left me alone and get lost where I don't know . I was trying to find him and ask him about my doubts and why he sometimes ignores me and sometimes bheaves he is so happy with the wedding .

" Where is your man? " Granny came and asked me ..

" I don't know granny .. I also didn't saw him .. " I replied honestly .

" Then go and look for him . You both should stay together . " she told me. yeah right we should stay together and I also need to clear my doubts. I just nod and then walked towards the bar where I was hoping I'll find him .

I was standing in front of the drinking area where I saw Ewan and Jackline walking towards the balcony area and I followed them behind .

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 :

" Faith .. " granny called my name from behind . I wiped my tears and walked to her ..

" I couldn't find him granny .. umm I'm a little tired .. can I go to my room ? " I asked in a dimmed tone and before she could reply I walked away from there to my room .

Once I was inside my room I closed the door and that is when I actually broke down .

I wish I didn't followed them .. I wish I never listened their conversation ..  because I never wanted to know this truth .. He was marrying me for the company .. but why ? Did Uncle pressurized him ? Oh my God .. I can't believe . But why would he do that I never told them that I have feelings for Ewan .

My tears were uncontrollably flowing ..

But he could have told me .. he should have told me that he doesn't want to marry me.. what did he think about me ?

Right now I'm feeling being betrayed . The person I always loved and adored is now betraying me . Why Ewan? Why ?

it's hurts so bad . so bad !

Ohk let it be the way he wants it . Let him get the company and break the marriage . I won't ruined his perfect plan .. if he is happy that way let him be ...

I sat on the floor and burried my face between my knees and cried uncontrollably . I don't know what sin I have done to suffer this pain . I can't explain what I'm feeling ... My heart just broke in million pieces ..
