" What ?! "  I asked being shocked .

" Yess.. well i know you like Ewan so we decided to fullfil our promises that we made . " my dad said ..

" promise ...? what promise dad?" I asked him ..

" yes baby .. your dad and me promised each other that I'll make you my son's wife " uncle said and looked at dad . Dad gave him an affirmative nod .

why I'm feeling there is more to that story..

" But how can u take that promise seriously .. I mean .. " i objected again ..

" Yes ..I know that was childish of us arranging your marry with Ewan when u two were kid .. but as you like him .. there is no harm ... Right ?! " Uncle said with a soft smile .. I lowered my eyes .. I don't know when I gave that energy of liking Ewan .. does he knows that too ? only Emily knew about my feelings ..

" But Ewan .. " I said in a hesitate tone . ..

" Don't worry about him . He also definitely likes u . U two raised together .. you two were close friends " Uncle said .. yes that was right , we had so good bond but today how Ewan ignored me ...

" But... "

" No more questions . Tomorrow you go out with Ewan and talk to each other .. " they both shut me down ..

" Umm.. ok " I said .. though I was not sure about Ewan but still I felt butterflies in my stomach thinking about it .

They left the room then and I felt a little excitement and nervousness thinking about tomorrow .

When I told Emily about what dad just said ..

I didn't saw any hint of surprise on her face . I think she knew about it . Is this the reason they suddenly called me to visit here ..

But she was very excited when she heard about my little date with Ewan nextday . But the way Ewan bheave today .. there was some mix feeling in my heart ..

Next day was our little lunch date . During breakfast dad told me to be ready and that Ewan will come to pick me up for our the date . Emily gave me a knowing smile and I smiled at her awkwardly . I don't know what will happen .. Ewan himself didn't even called or messaged me once .

After breakfast I went to my room . Then Emily came and sat beside me .

" What happened Faith ? " --E

" Umm .. Ewan didn't contacted me once about the date  we are about to go .. isn't it weird ?" -- F

" Faith .. don't think too much . Ewan is like this..always stupid head .. " --E

" Hmmm... " --F

" Now go get ready .. I'll help you in makeup .." I glanced at her one last time lazily and then walk inside of the bathroom to take a shower .

I wore a white top and blue denim . I don't have anything else right now ..never really brought any fancy dresses. I'm very simple , . for me comfort comes first . Though Emily highly objected about my choice of dress but she also had no choice cause right now we don't even have time for shopping . Emily helped me doing make-up . well only lipstick and eyeliner that's all.

" Your beauty is so natural Faith .. . You don't need any makeup at all  " she said and kissed me on my cheeks . she always adors my natural skin .

" Haha thank you .. "

I don't even know how to do makeup . I only know how to apply lipstick .I know in this generation most of the girls know how to do makeup and I really admire them ..but I'm total mess when it comes to makeup. 

" Faith... Ewan is alr-- " Noah came to my room .. " omg you are looking so pretty my sister " I gave him a shy smile ..

" Thank you .."

" Ewan is here .. " he said and my heart beat become fast ..

" Faith all the best ... " Emily smiled at me .

I came downstairs and saw Ewan sitting on the couch . He suddenly looked up at my direction and our eyes meet . The moment i look into his Beautiful eyes the anger , complains I had for him vanished in a second . I felt butterfly in my stomach . I can't stay angry on him at all . He is really so handsome .. 

I saw him standing up and muttering a " let's go " . with that he walked out without waiting for me. I walk after him hurriedly . Once we were in front of the car he gesture me to get inside the car and then he also got in . Soon we were on our way ..

I was sitting there uncomfortably . There was an awkward silent between us then I took the initiative to talk first ..

" How are you Ewan ? " I asked him ..He looked at me and then looked back at road again ..

" I'm good .. what about you Faith ? " He took my name and it instantly made me smile ...

" I'm good Ewan thank you .. but I'm really upset with you .. you didn't came to visit me this years .    You forget me Ewan .. you know every year I waited for you hopelessly .. but you .. you didn't came " I said pouting my lips .. waited for his answers ..  but when he didn't gave me any answers i felt awkward.  After a long silent when I thought he will not answer and that I made him upset .. he choosed to answer me

" was busy .. " that's all .

" Umm I can understand. . . " I said. Again my mind draw the same conclusion that Ewan has changed .

I went silent .. soon we reached the restaurant.  It was a beautiful 5 star restaurant. Ewan walked ahead of me and I followed him behind . This little lunch was organized for us to talk..but we are doing everything but talking .

We occupied a corner table from where the outside view was so beautiful . This place was less crowded and the tables around us were almost empty . I sat there silently waiting for him to say something .

Soon the waiter came for our order . He took the menu card and ordered for himself . The waiter turned to me and I realized I need to give mine . I thought he was ordering for both of us .... Anyway I ordered very simple dishes and dismissed the waiter with a polite smile .
