The Trip in the Myst

As she fell asleep on her third day of getting ready, she could feel her body flying downward into the depths of Earth, and just like that, she had started her journey.

Day 1: Wed, Mar 17, 2024

I woke up, kinda early this morning, weird.. I planned to wake up at a later time than now. It’s fine, this just means I get to have more time to explore and readjust myself with Earth and the people. In the three days I had to prepare, I came up with multiple ways to get me back where I belong. My journey is gonna be over sooner than most would think. I got this going back to Heaven thing in the bag! My first plan is to meet some new people, and hopefully not run into anybody who is of a higher power than I am. That would be… chaotic, very, very chaotic.

I remember God saying something about the demons being able to tell between the hybrids and the humans, and because I’m not either, they’d know I’m an Angel. Which isn’t good. I don’t want to know, or think, about what they would do to angels out of their place. So, I’m hoping I don’t run into that kind of trouble. The hybrids and the humans can’t tell the difference between each other, from what I know when I used to live long ago. I need to get used to saying my name as Evie now.

Maybe I need to think of a last name too. I could use my old one, but I don’t want to risk any of my identity being out. Let’s see, I’m thinking either Crossgrove or Colon. Evie Crossgrove, or Evie Colon… I’ll figure it out later. I should get going and to meeting new people. The first place I’m going to is the coffee shop, I need to try the coffee here. I love coffee, so I may just go there every day to meet new people!

LATER ON IN THAT DAY

…Or not, again- I don't want to run into any demons, and being in one place too many times is bad, but so is going to a lot of random places to meet new people. Maybe it's not such a good idea to go out just to meet people. I mean, I'm just gonna end up leaving them when I go back to Heaven. Why don't I just go on a walk, and see all that needs to be seen, like what all has changed and what not.

Sometime later…

So I’ve decided to go into the forest to take a walk. It was peaceful at first, and I was able to hear the birds singing their little hearts out. As I got deeper though, the bird songs faded, and the forest got darker, with no sounds but my own footsteps. Then I heard someone singing, it sounded like a woman’s voice. It was graceful, but why so deep in the forest? I went towards the sound that was coming from the side of the trail. When I found the person who was singing, I noticed that she had fangs.

     Her skin was pale, her hair was blonde, and she was wearing a black dress with a blood red bow. She was singing in a different language, I’d felt like I'd heard the song before when I was younger. It would play in my mind from time to time, so of course I hummed to it just a little bit. When she heard me, she turned around, and I quickly ducked down in the bushes I was in. She then continued on in her song while I was trying my way out the forest. Once I found the trail, the woman that I just left behind was there waiting for me. Somehow she got there faster than I did.

   I saw that she had red eyes, and at that I started to freak out, so I ran towards the exit of the forest. When I got there, I turned to see if she was coming, and I saw her just standing there looking blankly at me with her bloody red eyes, and her long shiny blonde hair blowing in the wind. I have only been here one day, and I've already been noticed by a demon… and not looking back again, I ran home in absolute fear.

Now I’m so very anxious. A demon saw me…
