Chapter 4: Disappearance

Ichiro and Sune regained consciousness in the forests without recalling anything. They tried to recollect any pieces of memories but to no avail, their exertions are in futile.

"Ichiro, can you recall what happened to us? also, why are we in the woods in the middle of nowhere?" Sune mumbled while glancing at the moonlight.

"Sune, u-um I can't recall anything at all, I could barely remember is that we're here because we followed our childhood buddy that has been in a coma for a month, and the last will of his parents is to take care of him since he was discharged from the hospital yesterday. And we took him in the classroom because the doctors told us that it'll be the last time he'll be with us." Ichiro said while sighing with tears falling down from his eyes.

Sune glances at the stars, she observed that the stars are forming a word H.

"Haru!" She said exclaiming after recalling meanwhile, her voice sobered and her eyes are teary.

"Of course it's Haru, How could we conceivably miss him, He was our youth buddy, we grow up together, and go to school together, It's a miracle that he wakes up from a coma since you've been trying to wake him up for many years Sune," Ichiro mumbled while sobbing from disbelief that they nearly forget Haru, their youth buddy.

"Stop weeping now Ichiro, I'm pretty certain that Haru's safe, by the way where is Haru?" Sune whispered meanwhile getting uneasy and sobered voice.

"Haru? Haru? where are you Haru? Come out now Haru, Don't hide from us Haru, don't make us worry like that, you've just awakened up from the coma, don't go out alone in the wood. There's a rumor that said, that there are monsters here in the woods." Ichiro said trying not to be scared and shake from head to toe.

"Ichiro, umm maybe we should go back to our home first and continue to search for Haru tomorrow morning," Sune replied while staring in the woods.

"Sune, are you okay? why do you keep staring at the woods, Don't worry there are no such things as monsters in the woods, I just said that to make Haru show up since he was very afraid of monster---". Ichiro suddenly stops talking and grabs Sune's arm immediately and starts running away from the woods then stops after their mile away.

"Ichiro, are you crazy?!" Sune hit Ichiro's nape and resumed talking. "Why did you suddenly grabs my arm and began running like a crazy person?" Sune asks furiously while glaring at Ichiro.

"Sune, I'm sorry that I snatched your arms abruptly, It's just that I see a ferocious form in the wood, so I just did what's right. I just save ourselves from danger." Ichiro tried to put a smile while glancing at Sune.

"I'm sorry for hitting you Ichiro, I'm just startled," Sune responded while sighing deeply before resuming to speak. "Let's go Home Ichiro". Sune smiles.

"To our Houses Sune." Ichiro corrected Sune while flushing.

"Yeah, you're right Ichiro," Sune answered back while cracking up a little bit.

They both started walking towards their own dwellings.

Meanwhile, in the wilderness, a corpse was found laying down with no signs of life, an old lad was passing by until he notices the corpse, The old lad carries the corpse into its cottage and gently lay the corpse in the mattress until the corpse was awakened and spoken an ancient language that the old lad couldn't understand. The corpse run out of the cottage and vanishes without a trace.
