...Nicolas sat at his brand new work place, a hotel, the place was quite spacious and dizzying to him due to the large size and amount of people. The sound of hus co-workers talking poorly about him annoyed him but be had to keep his temper in check. His background made feel like he was on thin ice for this job, it was like he people were staring at him from everywhere but what scared the most was his bad luck, he didn’t want to cause another death by being foolish as ever, his eyes filled with weariness as he stared at the clock, he wanted he shift to end but he still had an hour left of time....

...As he stood at the hallway, the sound of the rooms overwhelmed him. It felt like he knew something was wrong but he can’t pin point it to where it was. He gently touched the door of the room, holding his cleaning supplies, he didn’t want to intrude in his guest as he gave the room service. “Hello there?… is someone here?” He called out, the sound of a bang scared him, his heart had thag same fragile feeling of fear, he was worried for the man behind the door, not knowing what happened, his heart raced as he opened the door. ...

...He saw a man holding a cross, praying frantically at the possessed man. “Hey!” He shouted, his hand grabbed the man’s shoulder, he seemed to be soke kind of priest…. “I am doing something!” The man shouted, pushing Nic away as he continued the exorsizem. His hand puttibg down the cross as he saw the guests stop shaking, eventually relaxing and falling asleep. “What did you do to him?!” Nic shouted, his face red with anger that he harmed the guests but he was intrueged by what the man did. ...

...“I did my job… foolish child…” he said with annoyance, his eyes stared at Nic for a moment and spoke, “You’re cursed arent you?…” he said. Nic took a long pause, confused on why or how this man knew. “H-how….” The man llifted the cross and pointed it at Nic. Nicolas didn’t know why his chest started hurting as he did that, his eyes widened as he spoke, “y-you can excorsize demons correct?” He asked, his eyes shining like a child. “Yes, why though?” He asked, his arms were crossed over his chest as he stared at Nic who looked desprate as ever. “Please… i want to be free from this curse, you are the only mand who may be willing to help…” he begged, his hands intertwined together as he stared at the man. “You desprate child…” the man said, “You don’t even know my name” he said, his eyes glaring down at Nic with pity...

...“Please… i’ll do what ever…” he begged, his eyes pleading for the man to accept him, his heart raced hearing the man hum, as if to mock him. “Fine… my name is Matthew, child” he said with a mocking tone as he made Nic get up, his eyes neer leaving the man, “you haven’t been taking care of yourself huh? Pathetic…” he scoffed as Nic followed him out the hitel, Matthew noticed the way Nic kept his ead down in shame, he liked the feeling of having power over this cursed child...

...“What brought you this far to a point you are begging me to help you?” He said, his mocking eyes staring into Nic’s. “I-i want to be freed from my curse… i want to be normal, and… you are the only man who knows how to excorsize a demon and stuff…” he said quietly, his eyes staring at Matthew pleadingly, hoping he was gonna do someting. “Well… i could perform a bonding ritual for you….” He said, Nic’s ears percked hp hearing it, “Bonding?…” he asked, his voice confused and quiet. “We share the burden… lesseing it, but i feel like i’ll enjoy seeing you cry like this for me…” he said coldly. “Please sir… i need it…” he begged, his hands intertwined together as he begged, wanting Matt to help him....

...“What do i get in return?… he asked Nic, Nic sat there quietly for a moment but spoke. “Nme your deal…” he said, his hands loosening slightky as he waited for Matthew’s proposal. “Haha! Such desperation… insupposed i have a deal…” he said, he placed his bible aside and moved closer to Nic, “You will be my servant for the mean time… the ritual requires us to be as close as possible, i may have fun bossing you around like a pup…” he mocked but all Nic could agree, he told himself not to get attavhed for his sake and this priest’s, he was scared but he was ready to take this deal on, though he was nervous, he was ready to do it....

...The next day, Nic stood outside Matthew’s reaidence, he was nervous because he didn’t know if he could really trust Matt, he seemed shady but he was Nic’s best shot at this point. He knocked ont he door and entered, the sound of Matthew whisteling echoed through the halls of the house, it made Nic more weary than he thought he was gonna be. “Boy! Get here” Matthew called, “i have a name!” Nic said, his eyes narrowing in annoyance as Matthew kept forgetting his name. He sat in front of Matt with annoyance, ready to do his first task. “Good boy… now, today, i want you to clean up the attic, i don’t want to go there” Matthew said, he was holding his glass of wine as Nic sighed. “But… aren’t we suppsoed to do the ritual?…” he asked, his voice full of confusion as Matt looked so relaxed. “That can wait for now… be a good boy and do what i said” he said coldly as Nic left, his hand holding the cleaning materials as he stared at the attic, “So much for a priest…”...
