Chapter 1

I open my eyes to see two elders looking worriedly at me, I stood up and asked them "who are you, where am i?"

Those words, the first words I said after a day coma that made the man go crazy and the woman to start crying. I wonder what made them go crazy do I know them, no I don't, the woman came to me and said in a shock "Juliana don't you remember us we are your parents."

I was surprised, what is happening my name is Sharon not Juliana, I am an orphan kid grew up in an orphan and work as a manager and a bodyguard of a pop star, I looked around to see all the people wearing historical cloth and every thing didn't look like it was from the 21st century but the 15th century.

I went out and started looking around in a shock my eyes went into tears, those two came out and looked at me the woman said "Juliana."

I moved away from them in an intimidating way, what am i doing here, why am i here, who are those people, am I reborn or i entered someone body?

I was just sitting in my room crying I locked the room so no one will enter, I wanted to stay alone until I just die or find a way to go back to where are belong to.

When I was sitting listening to others knocking the door for me to open, I ignored all the voices and just circled myself in the floor, what have I done work to deserve this.

Suddenly while I am in a mental breakdown someone broke the door and entered the room, I looked up at him with eyes full of tears he bend down to me and said "Juliana listen to your brother don't be scared I will help you recover."

I don't want to recover there is nothing to recover from, I am just not from here, I just don't belong to here, but from the other side this brother looks so handsome, he put out his hand so I can hold into it, but what choice do I have as long as I am here i should be part of this family until I find a way to go back.

I hold his hand and stood up, he looks so worried about me i wonder what is he like and how rich is this family, I went out of the room with him a girl was standing in front of us my brother said "she is your friend and personal maid, Jenis you always go to festivals together. Do you remember anything?"

"No." Of course I don't, Daniel tried helping me remeber but obviously I didn't recognize anything, but the nice thing for a whole I felt like I am in a family, I have been an orphanage for my whole but living here made me know what it feels to be loved and make some people worried about me.

Everything was just going right and the way wanted, until that day I lost everything I started to think it is precious to me, parents, brother, friend all of it, noting was left for me rather than negative feelings, regrets, hate, revenge and sadness.

That day the East kingdom attacked us, as my parents told me they are devils who want to take the whole five kingdoms to theirs and make devils take contrl ovee us human, everyone died my brother went missing, the whole kingdom just turned into ash instead of a beautiful city all you can see from away fire and dead bodies, I was saved in a neck of time by the night uncle.

He was a long man who was in a black horse wearing black cloth covering his whole body except for his eyes which were sparkling because of the fire, I wanted to know who he was but the only thing I can recognize him with was only his eyes and the necklace I found in my hands when I woke.

After the dark uncle saved me I found myself at a presence of an old man in a small house, I stood up and went out of the room, the old man was sitting with a girl who looks my age, he said "you woke up come eat with us."

I sat with them then he said "food here is not like the food in the palace but I am sure you will like it."

I didn't have the appetite to eat then the girl said "hi it is nice to meet you my name is Norah I hope we can be friends."

I smiled a dead smile to her and spoke out with a sick sound "I hope so too I am." When I was about to say out my name for a while I got a picture of the kingdom ashes then I asked in a fuss "What happened to the North? Where are we now? What happened to my family? Do you know anything?"

The man looked down then Norah said in a caring voice "we are in the Central Kingdom, you really don't remeber what happen, you are the only one left from the North everyone else died and who didn't die was executed yesterday."

I tried to understand but i just can't find the way to understand why that happened, I put my hands in my head and asked again "What do you mean by executed?"

"It look like the East was searching for a specific person, but because of that uncle you were saved everyone died including the king and queen, obviously you were the only one left."

"Who are they looking for to make a whole kingdom turns to an execution area, and why does he need that person?"

They both looked down sadly, I was still confused the man said "forget about that, you were brought here just for one reason."

I looked at them and said "is it me? Do they want me?"

Norah put her hand on my shoulder and said "sister don't think this way."

"No I know, once I heard my parents saying that I am wanted in the east that is why I never left the palace is it because of that, they destroyed the whole kingdom because of me."

They were trying to make me feel this is not right with there caring face but now everything is clear, happiness and luck are never on my side, I asked "so who saved me I shouldn't have been in the Central Kingdom."

The old man said "you don't have to know that, who saved you wants me to take care of you until he sends someone to bring you but don't worry about that this kingdom is totally free from devils."

"You are not going to tell me who is he?"

"It is better to keep it, he prefers that you not know, I was his personal sword fight teacher, you will stay here with us with a fake name until he comes to take you."

"Fake name? Why is he doing that to me do I know him all the people I knew died, I know no one now."

"Wow calm down when he comes you are going to know everything about him and why he is doing that to you."

Norah hold my hand and said "your name is Ino that what my dad told me come come with me i will show you around, our village is not big so it is not going to be hard to move around it, wait you can't go around with princesses dress, I will give you some of my cloth until I sue some for you."

The dresses she gave me was much more comfortable than the large dresses with three levels of the princess, everything was comfortable except for the food it looks so disgusting but I should just eat it in order to survive in this era.

Norah took me out to one of the houses, the front yard had a big table with so many young unmarried ladies, Norah said "girls hi, Ino come here."

She pulled me to them and said "guys this is Ino she is a new unmarried lady."

One of them stood up and said "oh new pretty lady, I am Angela, this Stephanie, this is Lola, Marry and Emily, we are all in the same age 21."

Emily said "there are not much of us in the village, they are either younger or older or married, are you in the same age as us."

I smiled at them and nodded then Lola said "you are 21 like us right, we are very well known girls in the village from the wanted wives but we are not easy girls who will fall for anyone."

I said nicely and excitedly "Ah this is so cool!"

Stephanie said "we can knock all the men we don't like except for the mayor of the village, he has 4 concubine and want more we lost one of us because of him now our poor friend is pregnant from a 70 years old man, try to avoid him and his men."

Marry stood up and looked around me, it was weird then she said in a surprise "it is you, I knew I saw you somewhere, days ago the day we knew the North was attacked I woke up at the middle of the night to drink water then I heard a horse sound."

Lola sighed and said "oh Marry we all heard the horse sound but I am sure you were dreaming that night, don't mind her she hears and see a lot of stuff and they will all be just from her imagination."

She started hitting the floor saying "I told you i saw it, that night was the darkest night of the month I saw a man in black riding a black horse, holding a girl wearing a rich people dress she looked exactly like you Ino."

Norah said "stop it! Ino was here before that with two days, dad was passing by the village behind the mountain to meet his friend who was dying, he decided to take care of his best friend daughter."

Marry scratched her head and said "oh really then am i mistaken? Is it true Ino?"

I nodded and said "yeah it is, my dad passed away two days before the attack, I fell of a hill and bit my head I was in a coma all those days."

They all believed this lie, i am sorry about that, but i have to lie like that until the man comes and see why is everything happening to me, me and the other girls got along so well they taught me many stuff i didn't learn in the palace, for example how to cook, how to clean fish from inside, how to sue my own cloth, how to harvest, and how to cut wood, how to earn money.

One day they were teaching me how to tie a rope Lola wasn't with us, it wasn't easy my hands got full of scars because of them it is just like papers injures, while we were peacefully working Lola came running to us she said "girls the mayor he is coming to take the herbs quickly look the worse, safe yourself."

They started missing themselves then I said "isn't messing yourselves will make him convinced that you need money and need a rich guy to help you out of poverty."

They all stoped then Stephanie said "that actually makes sense."

Suddenly he appeared, he said "where are my herbs?"

He started looking at all of us then stopped in front of me and said "you are a new lady here i never saw you before."

I didn't say anything then he recognised my injured hands and palms, he suddenly started coughing a fake cough then said "lady your hands are more precious to work such a work."

He was going to hold my hands but I moved backward and put my hands behind by back and said "thank you for your care you don't have to worry about it, sister where are the herbs?"

She pointed at the room inside when I entered I fell to the floor and held my chest and said "my heart was about to explode this crazy old man was going to me, first time I was not able to knock a man in my life this is not me."

I took out the herbs to him from far away then moved back, I didn't want to touch him at all if I had a grandpa he would be his age how can he think he can have all the women, I wish I could hit him or push him from over and edge.

He left after taking the herbs then we all sat back Norah said "that was so close, you shouldn't have avoided his move this will make him fall in love with you more."

"And let him touch me, no way even if I poor I still have rights as a woman."

When me and Norah going back home together she said "Ino do you want to meet the man who saved you this much?"

"Of course I do, I have many questions to ask him."

"I think you are sad that you didn't see his face right, there is a place I always go to when I am stressed do you want to see it?"

She took me to a pond in the middle of the forest it looked so beautiful and nice, we put our legs inside the water then she said "you were the princess in the North, how was everything there, the king and queen also their son all of them visited the Central here but I have never seen you before."

"I don't know, I went to an accident and lost my memory of the past after that I wasn't allowed to leave the palace, everyone tried helping me remeber but I didn't remember anything."

"How were you even hurt?"

"I don't even know how I never asked I was so afraid of the reason, now everyone who knows about my past died so I guess I am going to live like that."

She pushed my shoulder and said "hey don't forget you have that dark uncle, he will show up one day and you will know who he is and your past."

"Norah your father said he was his sword fighting teacher, he definitely know who is he and also you, just tell me."

She looked up and said "yeah I know but i am not going to tell you, he showed clear reason that you shouldn't know about him until he comes."

I sighed and tried so hard to understand what reasons exactly makes him not show his own identity to me, yeah I guess he is right that I am going to be the reason for the corruption of the whole kingdoms if the east is searching for me, I have to find a way to find the girl i am in memories to know my real next step, without the past how can I carry on in the future?

If i one day knew how this person was I would be able to know what is the next step of my life, in that life I always knew what is my next step even without knowing my past and my parents, but here everything is different and it makes me so frustrated.

Norah tied her dress up and jumped to the pond, she started splashing water on me and she looked that she is having fun seeing me wet so I tied my dress and came down with her and had fun splashing each other with water.

We dried our dresses then went back home I said "Norah is your father still teaching people sword fighting."

"No he just work in the mall, he stopped long time ago after my mom passed away, why are you asking."

"Just for few times I wanted someone to teach me mortal arts in order to defend myself against the east, and also revenge for my family."

"So you hope that my dad will help you?"

"It will be nice if he did, I am really grateful that you are taking care me all this time but I really don't want to be useless for anyone I don't want to lose the people I respect and love again, I hope I can be helpful and protect who I have to protect."

"Girls don't usually learn mortal arts but my dad is the one who decide ask him about it."
