Episode-10: Sharing half of the wedding Money to be Lucky

Ethan's mom immediately stopped and turned to look at the voice of the woman, ready to lunge at the stupid Vixen woman who only has money and fun in her eyes, but she instantly stopped like someone pressed the pause button on her body after seeing Genesis in front of her.

"Gene? What are you doing here?" Mama Angel looked astonished and asked with a surprised tone.

Ethan rubbed his ear, which was now red with him blushing or feeling shy, just needing his mother's twisting, and now he was a teenage boy with flushed red ears.

"She is my wife. Your daughter-in-law whom I got married to this noon." Ethan helplessly looked at his mom and walked towards his wife before pulling her towards them and introducing Genesis to them.

Father Waylon and Mama Angel were stunned hearing this and looked at each other before looking at their son and then Genesis one after another, trying to find out if they were trying to trick them.

Genesis did not mind their scrutinizing and warmly smiled at them, "Hello Mom and Dad. Ethan and I hastily made this decision and did not get the time to inform you about our marriage." She apologetically smiled.

Mama Angel immediately came out of her dazed state and held her hand, "No need. This is his fault for forgetting. He failed to inform us and made us a clown in front of you and let you see a joke of him. I did not even get any presents for you."

"Ethan how dare you forget that you have us, your parents, to inform about your wife and let us prepare gifts for her. You are making Mother lose all her face in front of my daughter-in-law." Mama Angel turned to her son's side and smacked him lightly while scolding, but the huge delighted smile on her face did not fade from her face no matter how harsh her words were towards Ethan.

Ethan, with a good attitude, accepted his fault and immediately led them inside the house.

Ethan went to the kitchen to cook some extra dishes for his parents. Meanwhile, in the living room, Mama Angel and Father Waylon were continuously talking to Genesis.

"This boy did not tell us that you are the bride; otherwise, we would have called all the relatives and quickly arranged the meeting between the two families and fixed the date of the wedding.'' Mama Angel held onto Genesis' hand and said with a gentle smile on her face, Father Waylon also nodded his head in a very good mood.

Both of them were quite taken aback after learning that their son, who was originally just indulging that woman, had gotten married. Hearing the word marriage, the only possibility of him getting married to Diana came into their mind which made them livid and want to beat their stupid son with whatever they had in hand.

Father Waylon also thought that if he didn't relent then he'll kick him out of the family. He should just indulge in that vain woman from the Gomez family.

Mama Angel was the one who put on the matchmaker role for her son to be paired with Genesis three years ago when she was not aware of her son having any love interest within his range. Later, she got to know that Ethan had someone in his mind, and she dismissed the idea of introducing Genesis to him. She doesn't mind her kids choosing their partners but this persona shattered when Mama Angel saw just what kind of person Diana was.

"Mom, Dad, food is ready." Ethan took off the apron from his body and called them to the table as a good chef in the house.

Everyone sat around the table with lots of dishes on the table and wine. Mama Angel and Father Waylon enjoyed the food cooked by their son and daughter-in-law.

"Daughter-in-law come give me your contact number." Mama Angel takes out her phone after dinner and asks Genesis.

Genesis took out her phone and called. She always had Mama Angel's number as she asked her mother for this.

"Oh, you had mine. Haha. What a good daughter-in-law!" Mama Angel immediately smiled and sent a big red wedding envelope worth 10 million to Genesis, leaving her a bit stunned seeing the seven-digit number in her inbox.

Before she could say anything, Ting, another notification of the bank transaction popped into her phone display.

20 million credited.

"This...." She was quite perplexed seeing them sending 30 million in one go just like this.

But this also shows that they value her as their daughter-in-law and respect her.

Ethan came out of the kitchen with a fresh fruit plate in his hand, placed it on the table for his parents to eat and sat beside Genesis, where he happened to see the two bank notifications on her phone.

Seeing her amused yet perplexed face, he curved his lips silently before saying, "You two are being stingy, Mom and Dad. My elder brother also got money back then after his marriage, but I got none from you. Where is mine?" He shamelessly asked leaning back.

Mama Angel and Father Waylon glared at him Instead of giving him money

Mama Angel said, "Don't compete with your elder brother. At least My elder son knows when to get a girlfriend and when to introduce her to us. He deserves that money; meanwhile, you only know how to make your two old parents worried about you, even in our 60s. How shameless of you my son!"

"Fine, I am sorry for asking. It's late now. You two should rest after the flight you two must be tired."

Mama Angel and Father Waylon went to their room to rest, but it was only Father Waylon who laid to rest because Mama Angel was busy sharing in the family group the good news of her youngest son finally finding his real brain back and getting himself a good, virtuous wife and another daughter-in-law for the family.

She stayed late at night while keeping others of the same kind as her, awake with the planning of the wedding for Ethan and Genesis.

"Are you short on money?" While doing her hair, she asked, looking at the man who was sitting on the bed with his back leaned and on his knee up, reading a book silently.

This came as a bomb shot at Ethan, who was reading before going to bed, leaving him dazed before he came back to his senses.

Short on money?

He? Why would he be?

"You wanted marriage money", Genesis said again, seeing him not speaking.

Ethan got it all and smiled putting aside his book and walking up to her before taking the hairdryer from her hand and gently drying her hair.

"I am not. You can rest assured. I just heard my Grandma saying that It's good and lucky to have wedding money."

Genesis looked at the man in front of her through the mirror with a gentle glint in her eyes before taking her phone and sharing half of the wedding envelope she got from Father Waylon and Mama Angel with him.

"Happy marriage day, husband"

Ethan's hand paused on her hair; he looked at her slowly in the mirror, only to see her gentle profile looking at him through the mirror with smiling eyes.

This is something he has never felt before, never in his life till now.

Meanwhile,

"What did she say? Is she willing to come back and learn? And what about Ethan? That boy is quite good and meticulous," Martha Gomez, mother of Diana, said, holding her husband's arm.

Father Frank sighed as huge fatigue took over his body.

"She won't. She also got Ethan angry. I don't know what to do with her anymore."

He is finally getting tired of his daughter's antics day by day. At first, he let her enjoy the life she wanted because she was young and he didn't want his only daughter to be burdened by the company's matter, but now she is 25, not young anymore, yet she is still as reckless as before.

"Frank, do you think we should look for someone from your family branch to be the next executive of the company? The company is not in good condition and you also need someone to help you with the work. Diana is not willing to take Ethan....we thought he'd get together with our daughter. He is a good boy, but maybe fate does not tie them together, so let's forget about this." Mama Martha said.

"I also think so."
