"What happened? Why the card is declined?" Diana hurried over to David's said and asked holding onto his hand.
"How would I know? I came here to place some orders for my office and look, the card is not working. What happened to the card? You used this last night in the club, right? It was working perfectly." David grabbed Diana's shoulders, leaning his body down while shaking her little and asking.
I finally, finally got the chance to do something. This is my dream of being rich and the wealthiest, but now, if I don't have funds, how will I start my business?
"How can it be? Try again. He gave me this card five years ago and it never declined or ran out of money."
"We have tried several times already but no use. Do you have another card on you? I need these things for my office. Diana, I am doing all of this for our future. You need to help me." Cupping her face David said.
"I'll ask my dad. Wait here" Diana walked away a little further and called her father.
"Hello"
"Dad lend me some money"
"Again asking for money? When will you stop being so willful and learn how to behave properly? You do nothing but hang out with those good-for-nothing people and do clubbing all day and night. Come back home right now, Diana." Diana's father, Frank Gomez, angrily said over the call.
He only has one child, and his daughter never answered his calls even when she called; all she asked for was money and if he refused to give, then she'd say so many nasty things. She has no respect for anyone.
"Stop it now, Dad. You know I can't be a hypocrite like you all, being a puppet to this work and so-called good behaviour. This life is mine and only mine. I can decide what to do with this. I see nothing good in learning those stupid things or being the good daughter you asked me to be. I can enjoy myself here so what's the issue with this." Diana lazily said looking at her nails.
"Just send me 10 million or I can put the goods on your tab here. You are my parents, and I am your only child; let me have enough fun. I'll be good to you two in your old age. Don't worry"
After saying this she cut the call and walked back to David.
"I can't get your family's mentality. You are their son, the heir of the Long family. So what if you want to try something different from what they are doing? They can at least give you some money even if you are playing around, not to mention you are being serious. Heh, your parents' thinking is seriously too old school. Still thinking that sticking to those stupid old times rules and work can work in this time also."
"Ok! Ok. Don't say anymore. They are getting old, and I can't say anything because I love them, and they love me; this is why they are not letting me have any risk," David patted her hand and said, not wanting to drag this topic any longer.
"Let's have lunch together" Diana said and started looking at the nearby restaurants.

University A,
Genesis raised her head and looked at the food tray of Ethan, ''Here, let me take out cilantro for you from your good.'' She offered looking at him.
Ethan raised his head, finding her already reaching out to his plate to pick out Cilantro from his food.
How did she know I don't eat Cilantro? I didn't tell, did I? Mom?
"Did my mom tell you about this?" Ethan asked, leaning on his chair and looking at her who was carefully helping her pick out Cilantro.
The warm light from the glass fell onto her side profile, her head slightly lower, giving off a comfortable gentle stature.
Genesis slightly smiled, hearing him saying this; she subtly looked up at him before saying, "I saw you last time avoiding eating cilantro."
This caught him off guard entirely as he was not expecting this answer from her.
Last time? That was... wasn't three years ago when we had a meal with our mothers present? She noticed this and remembered such a small habit for three years.
"My cousin also doesn't like to eat" Genesis added after a pause.
"Oh," So she remembered her cousin seeing Cilantro and then thought about the meal we had back then.
Genesis secretly looked at him, thinking to himself and smiled slightly before passing the plate back to him.
"Eat."
"Hm. Do you want after-meal dessert?"
"No. I don't particularly indulge in it."
"Let's go for a walk after eating," Genesis added.
"Sure. I am free all day anyway. Do you still want to go back to read or go back to pack to shift?" Ethan asked while eating.
"Do you like to read?" Genesis asked looking at him
"Eh? Yes, I do. What's up?"
Genesis smiled and continued to eat without saying anything.
.
Ethan looked at the additional chair in the cabin and found himself in front of a not-so-small library.
"You can choose any book you want to read. You are free anyway; accompany me to read here, then we'll go to my place at 5 in the evening." Genesis showed him the way and settled down on her place with her specs on.
Ethan turned his upper body and looked at her, only to find her reading her book seriously.
Oh
She got busy with her business.
So am I supposed to stay here till 5? This seems to be the case.
Understanding the situation and his case, he gives in and finds a book to read quietly with her.
Both of them stayed silent, reading in a peaceful yet cozy environment. There was nothing uncomfortable between them. Ethan was surprised to realize the comfortable feeling of peace with her.
This is hardly the third or fourth time we have met, and before this, all our meetings were just regular greetings aside from our first meeting, where we stayed longer and shared a meal but did not talk much.
It's surprising to me how calm and composed she is! Since the beginning, she did not make me feel odd or uncomfortable.
Ethan smiled and turned his attention back to his book from her face. As soon as he turned his face, Genesis lifted her eyes and glanced at him before smiling softly.
