Episode-6: David facing first embarrassment

"This boy, is he my son or what? He is wasting his time and life on that characterless woman."

"What happened to your son now, Angel?"

"I heard that he went to register his marriage. CAN YOU TALK TO HIM NOW? HE IS RUINING HIS LIFE BY MARRYING THAT WOMAN," Angel huffed, sitting on the couch, entirely irritated.

"He...did what?

"Yes, you heard right, Waylon; Ethan went to register his marriage today and tell me, aside from that wild woman from the Gomez family, who else can he marry at a time like this?" Angle hissed.

"Did he.... seriously get married for real?" Waylon shuttered his words, not able to find any words that were willing to come out steadily from his mouth.

"Yes, I got to know about this just now, and I was so furious that I didn't know where to go and what to do. Waylon, do you think we can still go and take the aid of that monk for our son? This can't be my son. That damn woman must have done something terrible to him," Angle held onto her husband's hand and seriously said.

She isn't like those women from other families who are still living in old times, want to control their sons' love lives and marriage partners and even after the marriage want to control the daughters-in-law. She has given her children the freedom to choose whoever they want, they just need to have some standards and a moral scale for the person they are looking for. They can't be fooled by someone with ill intentions.

But now, her son Ethan has done the same. She tried to talk to him before, but he did not listen, so she also let him do as he wanted. She was thinking that one day he'd understand but she got the news he got married.

"Don't worry. Marriage is a big issue and a step towards life. He can't joke around like this. There's still time, and he can get a divorce from that woman. I'll have the papers ready. Let's pack our bags and visit that stupid blind son." Waylon gently patted his wife on the back of her hand while saying.

"Fine. I'll do that" Angle stood up and left.

Waylon turned to the front and sighed deeply, "Just where did my good gene get wasted"

Afternoon,

University A,

"Excuse me, do you know where is Professor Genesis' cabin?" Ethan stopped a student who was walking past him and asked for directions.

"Professor Gene? I do. Just go straight and turn left; the second room is her cabin. But, let me tell you, sir, you should not be loud in her cabin or invite her for lunch whatsoever, she hates whoever disturbs her reading time." The student whispered slowly after giving the directions.

Ethan had a small, amusing smile dancing on his lips when he heard such an opinion about her.

"I'll be mindful" He walked in the same direction the student told him.

Knock,

"Come in"

Ethan pushed open the door, and the sunlight from his side as soon as he opened the door intruded inside the cabin, falling onto her face. She was busy reading a book with her specs on, the sunlight falling on her face, glowing her face under its warmth. Her eyelashes were long, casting a shadow under her eyes; her eyes shone brightly under the light, giving off a shiny blue colour.

"Busy?" Ethan leaned on the door slightly and asked.

Genesis, who was originally quite lost in her book, hearing his voice, came out of her focus zone and turned to him.

She turned her face to the left side, and for sure, she did not hear mistakenly; he was there standing as he said.

"Not too much. Let's go. Well, Canteen food will be ok for you?"

Getting up from her seat, Genesis asked him while arranging her desk and putting some of her stuff in her purse.

"Not bad. We can eat in the canteen then"

"Good. Let's go"

Both of them left the area and stored towards the canteen on the third floor, which is reserved for the professors, but if some students want to eat, then they can.

"When will you be free from your work?" Ethan asked while walking with her.

Genesis looked at his face before smiling Little and saying, "It depends on the work I have aside from my studies and research. If I don't have any relatively important work then I'll just go to the laboratory and stay there."

Ethan turned to see her when she was talking and the small smile on her face did not go unnoticed by him.

"Then packing your luggage and shifting to my place is an important work to do or not?"

"Eh?"

"When can we go to pack your stuff? I'll help you with the packing."

"Teacher's husband, teacher is free after lunch. She only had one class, that's all. The rest of the time of the day is hers to decide." Cyril popped out and said.

Ethan and Genesis paused looking at him. Ethan chuckles and nods, "I get it"

"Teacher, the seats are ready. You should go and have lunch or the food will be gone." Cyril cheerfully said and walked away first.

"Let's go"

"Hm"

Another side,

"I am sorry, sir, but the card declined again. Do you want me to swipe another card for you?" The cashier said, giving back the card to David.

David's face, which, was smudged a while ago, falls into a pit of diarrhoea.

"What nonsense!! Check again. There must be some problem with your machine. Check again."

The cashier swiped the card again and it declined. David's face changed completely. How can it be? It was given to Diana by Ethan, and they have been using this car all along, but it never declined. Then why now?

David immediately called Diana and asked her to come over. He didn't have any money to pay for the things he bought, only she could help him with this.
