Hidden Motives

None of this made any sense. Everything was happening to fast for her to even process what was going on. 'Maybe he knows my father and wants money? Or he could be a serial killer whose been stalking me and knows my parents rarely come home, so I'm an easy kill?'

"Okay, how about you just drop me back home and in return I wont tell anyone what happened tonight?" she smiled at him as innocently as possible.

His piercing red eyes glanced over to her for a second before returning back to the road, "sorry gorgeous. No can do"

She scoffed turning towards the window. The trees became a blur as she tried to think of a plan of escape, 'I could open the door and jump out, then make a run for the forest and hopefully loose him. But even if I did manage to jump out of the moving truck, I'd end up injuring myself even more. And I'm in the middle of nowhere, it'd take days to get back home barefoot from here'. She looked over at her kidnapper, 'my best bet is to stay with him till I can safely make a run for it. Besides, so far he hasn't hurt me, it'd be beneficial to find out what he wants with me'.

Without even looking away from the road he broke her thoughts, "I know I'm extremely appealing to look at but how long do you plan on staring at me for?"

She immediately turned away a little embarrassed, silently muttering "You're about as appealing as a dead slug"

"So the tiny mouse does have fangs after all" he teased.

She turned and glared at him before turning back around and staring out the window at the passing trees and clear night sky.

Kidnappers POV:

He watched her from the corner of his eye.

She'd fallen asleep around an hour ago, he knew that because her breathing had finally slowed down and evened out. The silky waves of hair which ran down to the small of her back had fallen across her face. From this point of view she looked so innocent and pure, different from the tense look she wore awake.

He couldn't help but stare. He wondered how such a small girl could hold such great power without even knowing it and how innocently stupid she was, to fall sound asleep in a strangers car. "You really are something tiny"

'Stop looking at her, you can't grow attached to this thing. As soon as you deliver her you can finally earn dads respect and start living by your own rules'.

'I have orders. Protect her. Nothing more, nothing less. She can't find out what she is till it's the right time'.

Willow POV:

She woke up to the drivers door slamming shut. Confused, she looked around trying to rub the sleep from her eyes. The memories came flooding back "so it wasn't a dream' she swallowed nervously. Looking out the window she saw a dimly lit motel 'huh?'

Her door opened, a gust of cold midnight air crawled up her spine making her tense. He extended his hand to her, "out, come on" he said coldly.

She looked at his hand questionably. "Take my hand" he insisted waving it a little.

"no"

"Look I'm not tryna ask you to marry me, I'm tryna be nice"

"That's rich coming from the guy who literally broke into my house and kidnapped me" she said crossing her arms over her chest and making herself more comfortable in the seat.

"3.."

"2.." 'why is he counting down? Is he really going to kill me this time??' She started to panick but stubbornly held her ground.

"1. So be it" with that he bent down into the car, picking her up by her waist and throwing her over his shoulder.

"Wha- hey! Let me down!" she started hitting his back and throwing her legs about fiercely trying but failing to make him drop her.

He walked uneffected by the squirming girl on his shoulder, "sorry tiny, you chose the hard way"

She opened her eyes and it dawned on her how high up she was, she stopped squirming and held on tightly to any part of his body she could grab a hold of. "Le- let me down.. p-please. I'm scared of hei-heights"

Still walking towards the motels front desk he laughed, "how about, you promise to be a good girl and I let you down. Kay sweatheart?"

"O-okay y-yeah, just please l-let me down"

"Ya know, I can't really do that when you're clinging onto me like this". With that she released her grip, but instead of letting her down fully he held her bridle style, "on second thought, can't let you go in case you decide to run off again"

She didn't acknowledge anything he was saying, she was too busy trying to focus on how to breathe properly.

When they got to the front desk he asked for a room for the night. The women behind the counter looked up, obviously annoyed he had interrupted her reading. "£250 for the room, our all you can eat breakfast menus are included for an extra £5.99", she looked down at her and back up to him ".. each".

He pulled out his card and she took it, still glancing every now and then at the quivering girl he held in his arms. "She's just cold and very tired, so if you can hurry up.."

After what seemed like forever she handed over the key and card, "have a great night" she said in a snide dismissive voice.

Inside the motel room he threw her down onto the bed and walked back out of the room. 'Prick' she thought to herself, still trying to pull herself together but happy to be ground level.

It was only a small motel room but looking around she saw the appeal. It was all colour coordinated, blue, grey and white. The ensuite bathroom had an range of different sized grey towels and soaps. The double bed had a white duvet cover and pillows with a blue duvet topper and small decorative pillows. The furniture was all grey. 'It looks to classy for someone who's mid kidnapping, how much did this cost him..'

He came back a couple minutes later carrying a black duffle bag which he dropped on the bed and began searching through it, his back turned from her.

"why are you glaring at me?"

"I'm hoping you'll spontaneously combust"
