In a lonely hazy january winter, a 25 year old girl was rotting in her bed. She kept tossing and turning her body around on her bed, while earpods plugging on her ears still playing her favorite song.

That cheesy pop hits by that 80s teenage pop star in 2024.

Fantasizing about the life she couldn't have, yes she just resign from her recent job and feeling like a giant failure.

Why she listens to happy cheesy pop music when she just experienced a shitty day? Well she believed that if we want to attracted for something good, our frequency has to be high so that's the reason why we can get that good positive things in life. But if we attracted something negative and something sad, that negative and sad things will come to us eventually.

So she's trying to rise up her energy.

And it's been almost two years she's not being in any relationship.

Her ex boyfriend her longtime childhood friend is an asshole. They've been dating since high school but in 2022 he cheated on her, he already begged her to comeback to him but she left him eventually .

After that broke up she never dated somebody else she really focus on her self, it's hard to find a good,kind hearted man that fits your criteria nowadays.

She hope one day a big, kind hearted,good, handsome strong man will save him from this cruel society.

Her room has been opened.

It's her mom

"Until when you're gonna be like this?" Ask her mom full of disappointment

"Mm mom"  she plugged of her earphones and change her position from laying down to sitting down

"You are 25 still living with your parents, hasn't been in any relationship after you broke up with your ex edward, and now your jobless because the recent office that you've been resigned you said the environment is so toxic" said her mom with a satire talking

Beth only silent when her mom trying to lecture her.

Bethany that's her name.

Bethany Robins, an only child never stepping out from her comfort zone, and always feel like a coward.

"Dinner's ready let's go downstairs" her mom approached her in her room because earlier she want to invite Bethany for dinner.

The whole dinner feels awkward, her parents already now what's going on today, and all they have in their head is they don't want Beth to be a loser, a disappointment to the family, specifically.

"So, what is your next plan?" Bethany's dad ask her

She stop chewing and look straight at her dad.

Then continues to swallow her food again.

Before she starts talking

"I already applied to many companies who works offline and online before i signed out from my office today, so no need to worry we just have to sit and wait" said beth shortly

"Well beth think about this way, you're not getting any younger and us as your parents too, so please take this life a little bit serious at this age, make us proud" said Beth's date with full of worries

"Yes dad, i will"

Then they continue eating their dinner quietly.

Day by day passed by, Bethany still wrap up in her blanket on this cold 8:00 AM morning in london, still in her beautiful dreams not as sad as these reality that she has to face.

Until she hear her phone rings and she woke up immediately.

"Hello?" With a raspy woke up voice she answer that phone.

She only gagged while on the phone, she's on the phone with a stranger.

Until one excited screams come out of her mouth

"REALLY SIR!? OH THANKYOU SO MUCH, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT"

"OKAY SIR I WILL, I SEE YOU SOON THANKYOU"

then after hanging up the phone, she screams with so much excitement running around her room like a little girl.

Then she goes down stairs.

"MOMM DADDD I GOT ACCEPTED"She really shouts like a 10 year old right now.

"What is it!?can you lower your voice?" Her mom seems mad because of her madness

"Hehe sorry" she's a little embarrassed now

"What is it sweetheart?" Her dad come up to her from the garage

Now her parents is all gathered together, she inhales and exhales her breathe heavily.

"I GOT ACCEPTED IN A COMPANY IN DUBAI"She said that with a bright smile on her face

"GOOD GOD REALLY?"

"IM SO PROUD OF YOU HONEY"

Her parents is relieved and proud of her at this moment,three of them hug her together. Finally she got her job back.

3 weeks before her departure to dubai Bethany's parents help Bethany to packed her stuff, especially helping Bethany to choose her accomodation while she's in dubai.

And she found one, the one that look like a hut. And it's close to the beach and the price is a deal, so she immediately booked it for her.

After so many preparations, now it's the day.

Beth walking with so much confident dragging her suitcase around the airport, she's so proud of herself too because she's gonna make a big change in her life and finally make her parents proud.

Now they arrived at the gate for departure to dubai.

"Well here we are" with a heavy sigh in a minute Beth have to leave her parents behind, to be honest it's actually her first time moving out from her parents house too.

"Take care of urself sweetheart" Beth's father hug her first

"I will daddy, i love you i'll miss you so much" Beth tighten their hug

Now her mom,

"Dont forget to wear sunscreen,too much sunburn can brings skin cancer you know" said her mom when she's about to hug Beth

"I'LL MISS YOU MY BABY"When her mum hugs her she hugs her even tight and tears running down her eyes.

"Oh mom, don't be like this i might cancel my flight" said Beth with tears running down her face too

"No, you have to go, chase your dreams and make us proud" said her mom while holding her shoulders

"Okay then,i'll go now you guys take care of yourself too, text me, or phone me while i am free" said Beth while holding her tears but still showing smile on her face.

"Go girl,don't forget to pray before the flight seek for protection from god" said her mom who's still crying while her dad trying to calm her mom down

Beth is now step by step getting more distant from her parents as she enters the gate in this london heathrow airport.

While waiting for boarding, she actually cries while watching the big window that face the runway taxi for the planes. She finally steps out from her comfort zone, moving out from her house , make her parents proud, it's a big change.

Travelling always been her dream since she was a teenager but she can't go alone back in the day, but now she's finally one of the solo traveler, she made it!

Now it's her departure she enters the plane, and she's taking off now, goodbye london.

The early whole plane ride she cries, she doesn't care that someone beside her is annoyed or maybe confused of her action right now, she can't hide her sadness that she have to leave all of her childhood memories, her parents, most of her friends behind to start a new life.

But as the ride goes on she can calm herself down now.

Look at the bright side, she escape the crazy european winter season, and it will be summer all day long in dubai, which is her favorite season.

She stepped in this beautiful glamorous city when the sundown, she looks around like a clueless girl among a lot of people who also just landed in dubai.

She really came here all alone by herself with her full responsibility, and also with her own money that she've got all these years working as a corporate slave, and also few of them as an allowance from her parents.

She finally dry her tears, she's finally taking the brightside of this whole new journey of her life. Smiles draws on her face as she walks step by step exiting the runaway taxi, she's finally free and happy now.

She spent her early days in dubai in this beautiful luxurious hotel, atlantis dubai. Her parents wants her to enjoy herself first before she live in an accommodation that looks like a beach hut. Her new job starts in 4 days, so before getting back to work she needs to enjoy herself first.

By staying at atlantis the palm hotel, one of the priciest hotel in dubai specifically one of the fanciest hotel in the whole world, her parents giving her few allowance money is actually quite much though. But the rest of the money it's her money, so it's a startup for a girl that in short time became a millionaire, she give her hopes up.

Sun shining on her while she's laying on one of the pool chair in atlantis hotel's swimming pool area. She really escapes the cold deadly European winter to middle east. Starting a new life here, going to make herself proud and of course her parents.

She really enjoys her tanning session here, the sun and the temperature is really hot it's gonna make her skin burns faster, but it doesn't matter. She always desired for a beautiful exotic tan skin, rather being a pale in europe. And in this tanning session she already wear a lot of tanning lotion all over her body so she will not have that skin cancer that everybody afraid of. Otherwise she's gonna be the new Bethany here, physically and mentally, so she physically have to transform and glow up her body first.

She enjoy herself with tanning earlier, later she swims around this big wide pool, and then near this pool area there's a beach but only can be walk along by because inside the water there are so many jely fish, but she can still riding the rented kayak around the beach area,enjoying herself in a nice bathub in her room.flipping back and forth in this wide luxurious bed with a beautiful view of this glamorous beautiful city.

And because she's still have a lot of money the first night in this hotel she treat herself to a 5 star gordon ramsay restaurant in this hotel for a beef Wellington, and a caviar sushi on second night in this hotel on nobu (also a fancy restaurant in this hotel), she's really living the life. She's also using the other facilities in this hotel such as gym,spa,hotel breakfast, and this hotel's entertainment such as an aquarium museum and this hotel has a waterpark inside it.

She really enjoy this short luxurious holiday before start to work here, but is she really all alone? Of course it wasn't a big deal for her. Many people travel alone now without friends or maybe partner, it is actually easier managing the time and schedules rather than managing together with other people for her sometimes it can cause too much conflicts.

Is she only doing sight seeings around this luxurious hotel? No, she even paid 100 dirhams for using dubai's MRT that expensive not so worthy MRT, Visiting malls to malls spending her money on luxurious branded stuff, not starting her job yet but feeling like a millionaire already, trying all the arabic middle east cuisines, visiting dubai's advanced art museums, and last but not least before moving out to her beach hut accomodation that she'll be staying in dubai her whole new life hopping on rooftop parties,she hopes it will be better here so she can stay here as long as she wants.

After all of those exploration, finally her days to be on her first day of work here are close enough. In this last day of her in atlantis before checking out she calls her landlady who runs the beach hut accomodation.

"Hello?"

"Yeah this is bethany, can i check in right now?"

"Great okay i'm on my way"

Beth was talking with the landlady of the beach hut, she said that she can check in now.

She immediately with a heavy heart leave her luxurious atlantis room, hoping one day she'll visit this hotel again, thinking that if she stays here too long she'll be bored in no time. And now she's dubai base so she can visit here anytime if she had money.

She take a taxi to go to the beach hut accomodation, and it's quite far from the atlantis hotel. She even fell asleep in the taxi, until she heard her driver waking her up.

"Miss,excuse me?"

Beth immediately wakes up from her dream,she felt embarrassed when she hear the taxi driver struggle to wake her up.

"We have arrived miss" said the driver to her

"Oh,yeah,okay ,i'm sorry"

She get off from that taxi car, and take her suitcase that she put in the back of the car.

"Very tired miss?" Ask the taxi driver while giggling to her

"Yes,i'm sorry that i fell asleep in your car" Beth apologize while giggling

"No problem miss"

Beth handed the money to the driver.

"Thankyou so much sir" liv thanking him

"Thankyou too miss" then the driver get inside his car and slowly goes away from where Beth is right now.

She looked around and it's actually a beautiful residency, it's like those beach huts in maldives but the difference is this one is located on the sand land.

Wherever the beach hut is located,it's still getting the nice dubai's beach view.

It's totally a heaven on earth, her mood to live here increase by the time she step in to this beach hut residency. Infront of that beach hut residency there's a little bar.

"Hi how can i help you?" A charming asian woman greeted her from that bar

"Oh, hi i want to move in here, i already made a booking from the website" said Liv

"May i know your name miss?"ask that lady while navigating her laptop

"Bethany Robins" bethany simply answers

"Okayy, let me check"

"Okay miss please follow me, my coworker will help you to bring your stuff" that lady continues to give her instructions and now suddenly a man help her bring her suitcase and few of her bags.

And Beth follow that lady.

"Here's your own beach hut miss" said that lady

"Okay" then she stepped into her own beach hut for the first time.

Outside is beach hut, but inside it's like a little hotel room.

"So the facility inside this beach hut are bathroom, little kitchen, and you have a little backyard right here and in the backyard we have washing machine"

When that lady explaining all of the facilities in that hut there's things in Bethany's head.

"It's a beach hut,but the facilities inside looks like a hotel even the furnishings" quotted Bethany in her head.

"Okayy thankyou miss Elena" now Beth now her name from her name tag it says "Elena"

"No problem miss, but may i and my coworker help you organizing all those stuff?" Miss Elena give Beth an offer

"Suree" with a lot of excitement approves her offers

For about 30 minutes they help Bethany with her stuff not a lot of them, the rest of it Bethany do it all by herself.

Bethany starts to like it here, when she's facing the window she really mesmerized with the beach view, beach waves, and the sound of the beach. This is all what she needs, she thought her life was tumbling down when she signing off from her old company and being the embarrassment of her family, but in one night her life change and now her dreams one by one already came true. God really preapres something so good for her.

She's getting a little tired after organizing and setting up all of her stuff, so she take a nap on the afternoon continuing her previous sleep in the taxi. And when she woke up, straight from her front window she capture this beautiful view with her naked eyes

She's so amazed, it's only february but she really did escaping the UK Winter. Her frequency and her energy already increasing by the time she first time stepping dubai.

With a lot of excitement during sunset, she change her cozy homy outfit to her swimsuit then get out from her hut and she bring a  fabric that she used as a matress then spread it on the sand and relax there, she really reconnect with nature, it's been a while she doesn't go to places like this.  Dubai may not be a 100% natural for natural tourists attraction places , there's so many artificial buildings around. But at least she's getting out from her comfort zone, she open a new chapter in her life.

The ocean,the beach is her favorite natural tourist attraction place since she was a kid,there's this calming and relaxing feeling if she stepped into a beach, rather than another natural or artificial tourist attraction. These early four days in dubai she's been smiling a lot, especially on her second night when she join atlantis hotel's rooftop party she met so many new random friends from all over the world that really matches her energy and frequency,they immediately get along really well, exchange social medias, so one day they will meet again, and knowing now she's dubai based. She's really happy that dubai really welcoming her with so much joy.

As the sun slowly goes down which means it is approaching sunset, she let the sunbeam shine on her body once again before it goes down. Once again a smile happy face just from a little things shown on her face. After relaxing on her mattress for a while, she run to the beach water and dip herself in there.

Let herself be free welcoming her new chapter in life after years of. disappointment,failure,fatigue,sickness ,that's been haunting her these past couple of years.

She maybe swimming like a lunatic in the beach right now floating around,splish splashin like a little kid but these past 4 days she's really happy,happier than before. Tommorow is officially her first day on her new office, before she waste her energy there she will spend today the best as she can. And of course recharge her energy really well.

Time really flies so fast, now it's the next morning. It's only 9AM in dubai, but it's already bloody hot. Makes her even energized rather than before, waking up at 9 when in london is really a torture for her. Before off to her new office she dress up really well as a first impression for the first day of work for her new colleagues and of course her boss and people with higher position among her.

She got into her new office by kareem (like an online taxi application like uber but UAE based). Well monday trafic in dubai is kinda rough, hopefully her office is not that far.

She goes straight into the reception office asking for informations.

"Morning mam, may i help you?" Said that lady with a nam tag that said "Renada"

"Good morning, i am Bethany, Bethany Robins. It's my first day at work for this office, i already passed the interview online. I applied as a digital marketing and copywriting" Beth really explains everything with a full details and of course she's nervous.

"Oh okay miss, please wait " said that lady named Renada and she immediately make a phone call with maybe the boss or the senior.

While waiting for Renada, Beth look around like a lost child. This building is really beautiful, hoping that once she start working here, everything will goes right, especially with a healthy environment.

"Miss Robins you can take a seat first,the boss is on the way downstairs to meet you" said Renada with a positive bright smile in her face.

"Okay thankyou Renada"

Then Beth take a seat in the couch near the receptionist, and start looking around the building again.

She's really proud of herself now, after experiencing so many hard times on her past office. Facing discrimination, unfair treatment, low payment,etc. Especially she's really heart broken since 2 years ago, when she broke up with her childhood bestfriend that when they grew up, when they became 20 they hook up with each other, they catch feelings for each other. That friendship turns out into love after all these years growing up together, they had a perfect relationship but it only last 3 years, until he breaks down their relationship. Cheating on her, with another woman. He begged her for a second chance many times, But Beth refuse many times. You know there's a saying once a man cheat they"ll always be a cheater no matter what. Last christmas he even come up to her, when she and her big family having a christmas party and causing a scene begging her for a second chance. It is also a disappointment for Beth's parents because they already trusted Beth with him but turns out like this, of course Beth kicked him out and until now they never seen each other again,they friendship also fall apart because of him. Having that flashback makes her even realize she's so strong for going through that. Of course she's so proud of herself until she's here, an introverted girl who seems hard on stepping out from her comfort zone, but once she tried and really stepping from her comfort zone she made it (almost made it, she hope so.

"Bye boy i made it" quotted her in her head while smiling.

About 5 minutes she waits while daydreaming about her past a heavy bass voice of a man come near her.

"Bethany robins right?" That man smile and handed his hand inviting him to shake his hand with her, a successful good looking emarati man maybe in his 50s, with a good fashion sense and a good scented expensive perfume sprayed all of his body.

"Yess, i am Bethany" with an awkward movement she smiles and shakes his hand with her hand.

"Welcome to the company, i'm Anwar" he greeted her in a friendly and excited way

"Thankyou sir thankyou" awkwardly she thank him

" i heard it's your first day of job, mind if i lead you to my office first for a touch up interview before working?" He asked her

"It's totally okay sir,thankyou" in an awkward situation with an elderly,senior and of course with a person that his role is more higher than you, so she can't do anything but thanking him.

Then Liv follow him to the lift to go to Mr. Anwar's office. The whole lift ride to his office he was really friendly and funny breaking her silence and awkwardness, so she's now being a little bit friendly towards him.

"Why are u taking the offline a.k.a the offline job? We're already offering you again and again are you sure that you want to work on site in our building,our employee that works offline here decreasing day by day. Nowadays people wants to be a freelancer you know" Ask Mr Anwar while about to open his office door.

"I just want to experiencing how working in Dubai is, and my parents said that i should explore so many things in my age so that's why i want to step out of my comfort zone and move to another country and start a new job here, sir" said Beth politely

"Most of our remaining employees said that, now come into my office" Mr Anwar giggle and politely inviting her.

And Beth follow Mr Anwar inside his office.

"Okay let's see" Mr Anwar folding back and fold Beth's doccument.

"You have worked yeah before?" Mr Anwar asked her

"Yes sir for about a year in a company in london" Beth Answered him

"As a digital marketing and also copywriter" said Mr Anwar while reading her documents

"Yes sir" said Beth

"Why are you quitting your old job, this company is quite decent?" Yet again Mr Anwar as her boss questioning her

Beth gighles a bit.

"It's because im overworked there, i can't manage all my works there, the deadline is crazy. It's even hard for me to get a day off there, and i have to say the environment is toxic" Beth trying so hard to explain it the polite way

Mr Anwar only nods and smile towards her.

"Well i hope when you join our company, you will find comfort and enjoy working here" he smiles again

Beth also answered it with a wide smile.

"Well, welcome to our company Bethany. I hope you enjoy working here. About salary don't worry we give our new employees 1000 dollar first in the first month then the second month and continuously after we see your growth we will give you 1500 dollar" Mr Anwar explains

Beth with a bright eyes hearing that she will be given that much, nods and smiles towards Mr Anwar

"Okay sir thankyou for the information" said Beth with a lot of excitement

"Anything else you want to ask before i take you to your working space?" Mr Anwar ask her once again

"No sir everything is already fixed and clear " said Beth she already understand everything that Mr Anwar explains

"Okay let's go to your working space then"

Yet again Beth follows Mr Anwar around.

They arrived at the second floor, which is working space for all of the employees of this office, Mr Anwar is right everyone already took this job in a freelance way. As she look around there's only a little few employees that still working here.

"So Bethany this is your working desk, and this is a few files that you can already work on today" Mr Anwar showing her, her working desk and showing her few tasks that she have to do today

"If you're confused you can ask your colleagues here,boys and girls please introduce our new friend that today will work here Bethany from London"

Mr Anwar call all of his workers that still working to welcome Beth

"Hi bethany.." they greeted them really nicely.

"Hello everyonee" Beth with her shyness greets them back.

"Okay i'm gonna back to my office,once again welcome Bethany its so nice to have you join here, enjoy yourself here" said Mr Anwar while walking back to his office

"Thankyou so much sir for everything" said Bethany

Then she settle herself at her desk and get ready to work.

"Heyy girll"

"Hii"

Suddenly one boy and one girl greeted her behind her computer.

"Oh hiiii" Beth greets them back.

"I'm jessica from lebanon" that gorgeous girl handed her hand towards Bethany inviting her to shake her hands.

"Bethany from London" Beth awkwardly smiles

"Hi i'm Ahmed from Egypt" that one boy also invites Beth to shake his hands

"Hii, i'm Bethany" Bethany greets him.

"Hope you enjoy working here, because this company is lacking on site workers" said Jessica

"Yeah they all turn into influecers freaks" Ahmad jokes

Beth giggles hearing them.

"I will guyss. Just pray for me this office is really being nice to me" Said Beth

"Oh it is really chill working here girl" said Jessica

"Hmm i don't know if you guys being sarcastic or what" Beth giggles

"No she really means it, we've been working like a non working person here" said Ahmed

"Oh really?" Beth make sure

"I've been back from my holiday from turkey this past two days. I spent about two months there. So yeah you can do work here remotely" Ahmed explains

"Wow" Beth actually believes but at the same time she needs to be aware, that not all friendly colleagues are nice people.

"Well come eat lunch with us at 12" said Jessica

"Okayy then" said Beth while checking her work desk'a computer and they continue their own work.

Day by day passes by Beth and her colleagues gets along really well, it's now been almost 2 weeks that she works here. Beth really gets along with Jessica that Lebanon girl, and her other two friends Ahmed and another male friend names Josh from Australia.

They are really friendly towards her, everyday they always waits for her, go every where with her. Even if Beth refuses they always Beth to go with them somewhere like going to the malls, to the office's  cafetaria, hop into cafes to cafes around dubai. Everyday Beth having trust issues but as the time pass by it really shows that Jessica, Ahmed and Josh really try to be a good friend for her.

It's her second week working on her new company now and she really like it. Now she and her friends are at the office's cafetaria for having lunch.

"Guys let's go to the club in saturday, how bout that?" Jessica suddenly invites them to the club

"Oh my god it's been a long time" said Josh

"Yeah right?"

"Are you kidding me jessica? Of course we have to go" said Ahmed with full of exictement.

While Beth only continues eating her briyani rice, while listening to them.

"C'mon Beth you will come right?" Jessica persuade her

"Mmm, i'm not sure" Beth was having a doubt about going to that club with her new friends. Because clubs in dubai is so expensive she can only afford rooftop parties and beach club parties.

"Oh c'mon beth i'll pay for all of us" said Josh easily.

"Yeah Beth it's always Josh treats when we were clubbing so don't you worry" said Jessica with full of excitement.

"Really?" Beth make sure

"Honest Beth" Ahmed making sure of her

"Well okay then" Beth surrender keeping her cool

"Yeayyyy" while her friends cheering her.

Working so chill in a company like this, with so far so good environment, make the days seems passed so fast. It's already friday, most of her colleagues diddn't even make it to the office at friday because it was too lazy for them. So yeah Beth didn't even go to the office at friday and just doing her job at home or maybe hopping cafes to cafes.

And now she's with jessica shopping clothes for going clubbing, because they're gonna go to dubai's grand club.

She even get ready on jessica's appartment.

Jessica is living with her boyfriend in her appartement his name is Roman from Argentina. They are really nice to Beth. And roman gonna take them to the party

"Oh my gosh Beth you are so pretttt i'm jealous of you" said Jessica while fixing Beth's makeup , Beth ask her to fix her makeup because she wanted to look Baddie tonight.

"Shut up jess, a gorgeous sexy stunning woman like you? C'mon" said Beth compliment her back

" and we're done!" Jessica is finished fixing her makeup.

"Woww, i look...,different " usually Beth polisihing her face with a natural make up look everywhere she goes, but Jessica's makeup , giving her more mature look on her face. And it gave her sexy and fierce vibes.

"You sure do, you look more mature and suitable in that makeup. You should wear that kind of makeup more often" said Jessica

"Oh my god thankyou jess, i will try and wear it again someday" said Beth who's still adoring herself in the mirrror.

"No problem at all" said Jessica while organizing her things.

"Ladies are you ready?" Roman suddenly walk into Beth and Jessica who are both getting ready.

"Yes we're ready sweetheart" said Jessica teasingly.

"Wow you both look fabulous" Roman praise them

"Thankss" they both thanking him.

"Okay let's go now"

Then they're off to the club.

The club was really grand. Everything here is so grand. Many times beth walk into a mall, a hotel, a building everything here was so huge, giant, and luxurious.

Now they have arrived, Beth only holding onto Jessica's hand because of nervousness. They walk to the club's loby and they immediately met Ahmed and Josh who's already there, Josh really not lying when he said he's gonna treats them all tho this club.

He even proceeded the payment.

Ever since she got into this club with her friends. She can't help but wonder why Josh can pay all of this. This club for openning a table must be so expensive and now he even treat his friends for expensive drinks like champagne,vodka,walkers, etc.

"Thankyou" Josh thanking the waitres that brought their drinks to the table.

"Go drink it Beth, don't overthink let's enjoy our night" Josh persuade Beth to make herself at ease.

"Thankyou bro" Beth thanking him in a friendly way.

"Cheersss" jessica cheering so happily to make her friends clink the glass.

Beth only take a one small glass of vodka.

Then they clinking their glass and screams "cheers"

Beth take a fast gulp of that little glass of Vodka, it's been a while she's not drinking. She's been controlling herself all this time not to wasted herself, but recently things been going crazy, so she thought maybe it's okay if she take a shot or two.

While she was drinking they're all just chit chatting, laughing, and sometimes smoke sisha because on the table there's a shisa to use together.

Beth also tries her sisha she takes few puffs.

An hour pass by it's almost midnight, but she don't feel like dancing, or wasting herself at all. Even though the ambiance is so good and so energic but she don't feel to dance, Jessica and her boyfriend Roman, also Ahmed they're all already hit the stage. While only observing people from the couch, she feel a manly arm wraps around his shoulder.

"Why don't you drink more or dance?" It was Josh

"I don't feel like it" Beth smiles in a flash

"Is it your first time?" Josh ask her with a creepy smirk

"No, i done this almost most of my 20s, but i'm just trying to control myself this time" Beth giggles uncomfortably

Beth knows ever since the first time she with Jessica, Ahmed and him get into this friendship. She always caught josh looking at him, adoring him, when he wants to talk to her alone he seems nervous. She thought that Josh is attracted to her, but she always in denial. For her the way Josh act like this right now makes her uncomfortable, she thought Josh is tipsy because he's been drinking since the drinks are served on this table. In her eyes Josh is mid and unattractive.

"You're on a rehab huh?" Josh giggles

His jokes really makes her uncomfortable.

"Kind of" Beth laugh it off.

"Heyy c'mon you guyss let's dancee" said Jessica who's already tipsy inviting them to the dancefloor.

"C'mon Beth let's dance" now Josh is holding her hand

"You go first, i need somtime to get comfy here" Beth smiles

"Are you sure?" Josh make sure of her

Beth only smiles and nods

"Okay, if you need me just go to the dancefloor" said Josh again

Beth only smiles

Then when Josh walks away.

"Weirdo" Beth quotted.

She didn't want to dance, she feel awkward infront of her new friends. She take another shot of vodka.

After observing people for a while, she get up from that comfy couch and walk away from their table.

There's a second floor in this club, a rooftop basically. Beth goes there to find some fresh air.

While still holding her little glass that still full of vodka, she takes a sip.

Looking at a beautiful view of Dubai at night.

"I don't enjoy partying to be honest"

Suddenly there's a voice of a man near her.

She turn her head to where the voice is from.

There's a man who's like her only looking around the view in this beautiful rooftop.

He's quite good looking.

"Yeah, i actually enjoy partying but tonight i am just not in the mood" Beth replies to him.

"From UK too?" That man suddenly ask that question

"Yeah, you too right?" Beth already know from his accent.

"Scott from manchester" he suddenly invites her to do handshake.

Beth smiles

"Bethany from london" Beth introduce herself".

"I know from both of the accent" scott giggles.

"Samee" Beth also giggles.

For a while Beth observed scott as a nice guy good looking guy, he go up here like her because he don't enjoy clubbing, and scott seems like someone who travels a lot (backpacker).

"I came here because my cousin, who usually go backpacking with me, it's his birthday. And he's dubai based he had a lot of friends here, so yeah it's his day now, he wasted himself on the floor already. And to be honest i'm not even drinking" Scott really talk to her like they're already friends or something.

Beth only smiles and nods listening to his story.

"So Bethany.., what are you doing here? You work here?" Scott continue to ask her

"Just call me Beth, yes i recently just started working here, and today is my second week working here, i kinda like it actually. But my friends they're all already wasted too on the dancefloor i guess, i reduce my drinking habits, looks like i'm on a rehab they say" Beth giggles

"Been an alcoholic all my life and i'm here only oredering a non alcoholic cocktail. It's not good you know" he smiles

"Mee too, earlier this year i start reducing it. It's my 3 little glass of Vodka, i used to enjoy it a lot and drink more than this, but i had enough just after this three glass. You're right it's not good" said Beth

"So.., how's working here?" Scott ask her

"It was good, it was chill. I didn't get paid yet because it's still my second week working here, but i have to say that the environment is more friendly than in the UK, i used to have a corporate job for a year since i graduated college and it gaves me so much trauma like overworking, low payment, and toxic environment, all day everyday feeling like a corporate slave. But 2 weeks of working here i have fantastic colleagues that are really kind, friendly boss who even at the interview asked me is it true that i want to work on site, so he gave me two options wether i want to work on site or remotely in the UK. Because basically i want a new life i already fucked up enough in the UK , and all of my boss employee

are taking this job remotely and even in my office it's only few employees. In conclusion i need a new life outside the UK" Beth close her storytime with giggles

"Sorry i overshared" Beth continues.

"No, no that's okay your story is saved with me, well me too. I already moved out from UK since i graduated college years ago, first i travel around europe then asia. I even had my condo in thailand, life outside that country is more beautiful right?" Said Scott

"So far so good here in Dubai, my mood always increasing wherever i go, especially to the pools and beaches because the sun always shines. Not like in bloody UK where snow and rain constantly drops especially in this kind of time" said Beth

"I agree" He agrees with Beth

"So scott where have you been as a backpacker exactly?" Now it's time for her to ask questions to scott

"I've been around England, Scottland, Ireland, France, italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Ukraine, Finland,Sweden, Norway. Then asian countries like Thailand, South Korea, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong khong, Vietnam. As soon as i remember, i hope there's no country that i forget to include, and now i'm here in dubai"

They burst out of laughter

"Which continent do you like the most Europe or Asia?" Beth asked him

"For food maybe Europe because you know i''m a british guy, but not all asian food it's not good, but there's a certain asian food that i can't consume. But overall all the sites, and beaches in Asia were fantastic . Especially the weather in south east asia" he explains

"Woww i always wanted to go travelling for years but sometimes it still hard for me to get out of my comfort zone" Beth hesitate

"There's nothing to be afraid of, look at you now you make it here in dubai all alone. Next time come with me" He praises her and invites her

"Thanks, but where?" She giggled and thank him and continue to ask him

"Maldives" he answers

"Woww that's one beautiful country right there. Maybe if i can take my job remotely i will join your maldives trip" Beth is so sure with stranger like this

"You promised yeah? Let me know if you really mean it" he's so excited

"I promise"

They make a pinky promise

"Well after hearing your story, it is instantly makes me wants to take my job remotely and travel the world. But i already my on site colleagues that i will stay, maybe i will do my remote job sometimes later" said Beth

"Well you should. Decisions are on your hand,not your office friends" Scott give her a lecture

"Yeah you right" Beth agrees with him

"So scott how long are you gonna stay here in Dubai? if you let me know" Beth questioning him again

"About a month and a half, i need to explore dubai and the rest of UAE. First is because i only have to attended today, my cousin's birthday" Scott answered

"Woww that's quite a long time" Beth commented

"Where are you staying by the way? If you let me know" Scott suddenly ask her

"In the beach hut residency near Dubai beach, where are you staying?" Beth ask him back

"AIN'T NO WAY" he became disbelief

"Whatt?" Beth confused

"I ALSO STAY THERE" scott gets excited

"NO WAY" beth also gets excited

"I've been staying there for about a month now,it's a lovely accomodation is it?" He ask liv's opinion

"Of courseee, especially if we came from a cold country like england. I had a fun experience just only  living there, one day i wake up from a nap and seeing the sunset. I rushed outside put my matress upon the sand and enjoying the sunset and swim at the beach" Beth became more and more excited talking to him

"We should do that together next time" he invites her

"Sureee" Beth agrees

Clear night sky from this beautiful city keep shining down for both of them who's now chilling and talking at the balcony, comfort between each other became more and more intense for both of them.

"Beth" he suddenly calls her

"Hmm?" Beth answers with a hum

"Can i drive you home ?" He offers her

"How about your cousin ?"Beth remembers he came here because of his cousin's birthday.

"I have his other car that i bring on my own, he'll come home with one of his friends driving his car i guess" scott smiles.

"But Beth you came here alone or one of your friends drive you here?" Scott continue to ask

"Yeah i came here with my girlfriend and his boyfriend, his boyfriend drove us here" Beth also smiles

"Okayy cool, let's just hang for a while enjoying the night breeze then we go home"

That night two strangers met under the pale moonlight, instantly became comfortable towards another and of course they have unlimited topics for their conversation , is this moment will last long?.

"Okay it's 2:30 already, not late enough yet. But aren't you feel bored with places like this?"" Scott asked Beth

"Yes,i'm feeling a little sleepy already. I took 3 mini glass of vodka but it didn't do anything to me" Beth giggles

"Okay let's go home now"

They both heading downstairs together.

Beth sees 3 of her friends Jessica and her boyfriend Roman and Ahmed already wasted on the couch. And there's Josh left with a little tipsy.

"Oh my god are they're all okay josh?" Beth worries about them

"It's okay, it's a normal situation here, i can handle it" Josh smiles

"Are you sure you can drive them home? You're not wasted also right?"Beth make sure

"Look i can still talk and walk normally" Josh make sure

"Great. well Josh, i met a friend upstairs when i want to search for fresh air. Josh met Scott. Scott this is Josh" Beth introduces Josh to Scott

Then they introduce theirselves to each other.

"So scott live in the same area as me. And he will take me home. I maybe not joining you guys coming home for tonight" Beth explains

"Are you sure you're gonna come home with someone you just met Beth?"

Didn't know that josh were really worrying about her or jealous of Scott that can attract her in no time.

"It's okay bro we live in the same hut residency, i'm not gonna do anything to your friend i promise" Scott explains

In this moment Beth feels ick towards Josh. Didn't know if Josh actually talk like this because he's little bit tipsy or he's really into Beth, but in conclusion here Beth think he's just jealous of Scott.

All this time Beth always feel uncomfortable towards Josh's friendly behavior towards her, she don't want him but it seems like he wants her so bad, Beth is not being delulu tho, it proves all of this time he's been treating her differently than their other friends.

"Okay then be careful Beth, call me when you get home. And you, watchout when you do things to my good friend" the way Josh threats them is so cringe

"Give me your phone" suddenly Scott ask Josh to borrow his phone

"For what bro!? Wtf" tipsy Josh with bad temper

"Just give it to me" Scott really ordered him with seriousness

Josh finally hand his phone to him.

He opened Josh's instagram app to follow his account in instagram.

"That way you can really track me, that i really take your female friend safely home,i'll send you later" scott smiles like a gentleman

"C'mon Beth" scott persuade Beth to immediately leave this club

"Josh be careful when driving them home okay, i'll be fine with Scott, he's a fellow england lad like me" said Beth with a hurry

After saying goodbye to Josh and her other wasted friends, Beth really get going with scott.

"Is it really your car it looks cool as heck" Beth compliments his car

"Of course come on in" Scott invites her

"Are you sure you're not gonna kidnapped me or doing anything to me?"Beth is having trust issue right now

"Okay i'll leave you here in the parking lot" Scott tease her

"Okay okay i hop into your car"

Then she got into his car then drive away from this grand night club.

"So tell me, that Josh guy isn't your boyfriend right?" scott Jokes

"Of course not,eww gross" Beth in a funny way answers him

"Why?" Scott ask again and giggles

"Well he's kinda creep, i mean he's nice he's fun. But he treats me differently from our other friends, they're the one who's passing out on the couch earlier that one arab man is my friend Ahmed, and that another one arab woman her name is Jessica, and one latino guy is her boyfriend. Me, Josh, Jessica, and Ahmed were colleagues in my office right. Well we get along really well in just no time, we really had the same frequency. Until Josh really showing me so much affection, i mean at the first place i thought that he only get along with me really well so he really match with me as a friend, then the day goes by his affections are going stronger and he really puts an effort to show it to me, then i thought maybe it's time for me to show that i am uncomfortable he treated me like that, but he kepts going" Beth don't care she just overshared to a stranger that she just met at a bar

A fully conscious stranger who also takes her home.

"So you thought that he likes you?" Scott ask her again while driving

Beth nods.

"Why i can say that, it's because with other female friends he acts normal but towards me it's different story. Numerous time he takes me home, bought me lunch, chat me all the time until i am tired to even response to him. Matter of fact it's not a fun and friendly topic for just a friend, it's too repressed,too awkward,until sometimes i am too lazy to answers. So in conclusion i think he likes me everytime i tried to denied it maybe he's just friendly but no, recently on the couch when i didn't met you yet he tries to do some touchy touchy moves with me, women are not safe for real. And for me i don't like him, since the first time i saw him i didn't think that he's serious in being in a relationship. He's just a man who's just wanna have fun" Beth take a breath on the last sentence

"Woww, well done miss lecture. I understand now, but from the story that you told and from the actions that he did. He really have a crush on you Beth" said Scott

"I know right.., i'm not safe for real. I hope one day he didn't do anything harm to me if he shoot a shot on me because i will reject him" Beth being dramatic

"Hahahaha relax young lady, if you're hating him too much sometimes it will turn into love in no time" Scott makes fun of her

"Oh shut up" Beth feel embarrased.

"Gosh, it's really a bad idea shopping for a dress for an event with jessica. Now i know why earlier he tries to touchy touchy with me" Said Beth again

"Why?" Scott wonder

"Jessica is a bold woman who always wearing something daring, i'm not usually wearing this thing even to a party,club, or something. She pushed me to bought this dress, it's lovely but not around Josh"Beth contemplate her own decisions

"That dress looks elegant and nice on you, not something overshowing like your friend Jessica earlier. The problem it's not on you or neither the dress, it's on him, Josh himself" scott lecture her

"You look really nice on that dress" Scott quotted at the end

"Oh stop that" Beth blushed.

Don't know why but her heart suddenly beats really fast after Scott compliment her.

"You blushed" Scott giggles

"NO I AM NOT" Beth denies it

Scott laugh so hard while Beth tries to hide herself away.

"Focus on the road sir please, i want to reach home and sleep away throughout the weekend" said Beth

"Okay young lady"

Then they drive away to reach their beach hut residency.

"Okay we have arrived" said Scott while stopping his car

"Thankyou so much scott, thankyou for being my friend for the night when everything is really chaotic" Beth thanking Scott

"I hope you're not seeing me as cringe or freak as Josh" said Scott so suddenly

"What?! No, you're not making me uncomfortable like Josh did to me. You're fine, you're safe sir" Beth giggles

They both giggles.

"You don't have to call or text Josh that you're safely arrived home, i already got his ig i'll dm him" scott helps her

"You don't have to do that scott" Beth refuse she's being so hard on him so much today

"Do you want Josh to terror you all the time and he will think that you give him hopes and chances to go near you?" Scott ask her questions that makes her gag

Scott was right.

Beth giggles and shakes her head meaning no.

"I'll text him that's fine" said Scott

"Thanks Scott, but in the other hand i'm also worried about Jessica, Ahmed, and Roman. Is he really drive them home safely? He's a bit tipsy earlier" Beth suddenly worries

"Let's just pray that they're all alright" Scott tries to calm her down by patting her shoulder and smiles.

"Yeah, i guess you're right" Beth agrees with Scott

"Okay i better go home now,we're really 3 blocks away" said Scott

"Waitt Scott" Beth suddenly grabs Scott's hand

"We haven't exchange our socials and numbers yet, if you want but if you don't want that's fine" said Beth with a little blush on her cheeks, she's shy to ask him this.

"Of course, why not you're my good neighbor don't you?" Scott jokes

Both of them giggles.

Then they exchange their numbers and socials.

"Have a beauty rest Beth, enjoy your weekend" said Scott to her

"You too scott, i will come inside okay?" Said Beth

Then they wave goodbye to each other, and scott got into his car again.

His car rushed from Beth's hut but only in no time the car stopped and park really 3 blocks away from her hut, Beth saw it all and she gagged.

The she sees scott get off from his car after he parks his car and he still sees Beth hanging on her porch.

"See i told you it's only 3 blocks away from you" Scott kinda shout at him from where he is

Beth only laugh.

Then they got inside their own hut, especially Beth she sleeps away throughout the morning.

Beth wakes up in the middle of the day, it's already february in Dubai but it feels like a june summer. She always wakes up with a smile on her face if the weather is this warm.

She immediately go outside to her porch and welcome the hot afternoon Dubai sun.

Everybody is already out maybe just for hanging out at the beach, swim at the beach, or maybe tan their skin.

She always stand on her porch watching that beautiful view for quite long time.

"Good morning, neighbor "

Suddenly a manly voice greeted her from afar, that she similar with.

She look at where that sound came from.

Oh, it's him. It's that one fully conscious stranger that she met at the bar last night, who instantly became her friend.

"You awake?" Scott kinda shout at her from his hut, to make Beth hear his voice.

"I am, it's not morning anymore sir, i slept throughout the whole morning" Beth giggles

"I bet you did" he smiles

"What are you doing?" Beth ask him with a kind of shouting voice too.

"Working" he answered

"Can i come over?" Beth ask him again

"Sure" Scott agrees

With only her oversize tshirt and her homey hot pants beneath it, sandals protecting her foot, and messy hair because she just woke up. She bravely goes into his hut.

"Hii mr neighbor" Beth arrives at his hut in no time

"Hi sleeping beauty, here have a sit" Scott pat one of his arm chairs on his porch while he's busy on his laptop

"So you're freelancing huh?" Beth kinda roast him

"Yes, just like what i told you last night" he answers

"What kind of freelancing that you do?" Beth ask him again

"I work for a travelling application, so i run an app" He smiles

Beth only nods.

"It's so nice to work freelance right? Enjoying view like this" said Beth

Scott nods and smiles.

"What division are you into in your company Beth?" Now scott ask her

"I''m in digital marketing and copywriting" Beth answers

"Ah i see,i see"

"Scott, how's Josh last night?" Beth suddenly ask him that

"That's fine, he only read my messages" Scott giggles

"Hmm he chat me earlier this morning but i just opened my phone,but luckily he doesn't spam me usually he spams me if i response him too long" said Beth

"What kind of behavior is that, you're not his girlfriend or anything" Scott commented

"Yeah,right?"

"Okay i''m done with my work , let's have lunch" scott closing his applications on his laptop and shut his laptop down.

"What should we have? It's brunch for me" said Beth

"Let's go inside my hut, i won't do anything just help me check my refrigerator " Scott persuades her

"Okay then"

Then they got inside Scott's Hut, inside scott's hut they were looking something in his refrigerator for something to cook.

"You still have your pasta" Beth found his pasta

"Oh yeah i totally forgot" said Dave

"You got cheese,and this milk is not expired yet right?" Beth found a cartoon of milk in his refrigerator

"No i just bought it a week ago,this morning i drank it as a breakfast" Scott answered

"Okay let's make a pasta then". Beth invites him to cook with her

"Oh my god great let's go"

Then they cook lunch for them together, it's been almost 24 hours they have known each other. But there's no awkwardness towards each other. Especially when they're cooking like this so much fun, Scott's mini kitchen is full of laughter.

And the pasta that they've made are done.

They eat at Scott's mini backyard that face the beach.

"Oh my god Beth, this is so good" scott can't believe the food that Beth cooked for him is too delicious.

"It's my emergency food hehe, i'm glad you like it" Beth smiles

"Usually at my parent's house if i am hungry and there's nothing left, i found a half packet of uncooked pasta in the refrigerator and created it with things that can be found in the kitchen" Beth continues while eating her own pasta

"You're a genius Beth,you should be a chef for me" Scott Jokes

"In your very tiny kitchen?"

Then they laugh.

Continue eating below the hot hot sun above them but still facing the beautiful beach, and having so much fun and non stop conversation.

At evening they chill at the beach roll out their matresses on the sand and having a tan together.

"Do you love the beach?" Scott ask her

"If i don't love the beach,why did i stay here from the first place?" Beth jokes

"I actually don't like the beach" scott quottted

"Then why are you staying here?" Beth ask him back

"You know once you get used of something you will look at that thing as a beautiful comfort  wether maybe it's a new place or something. Like me first time staying here i was just randomly pick an accomodation and it was a beach hut shaped style little villa, i am intrested in this hut residency, i actually plan to stay here for about a while then i will move to an appartment or maybe move to another country. But i think i might stay here for a while" scott answered

"Esepecially after meeting you" then he continues then looking at Beth deeply

Of course a coward like Beth Blushed.

Beth can only smile looking at him

"What the heck hahaah" she giggles

"I am serious, i found a friend in one night and maybe i might change my plan in the future" Scott bravely said that to Beth

Beth's heart is pounding fast, at first he only looks at Scott as a friend. A normal guy friend, who last night she just randomly bump at. But the next morning until evening she already spend so much time together, especially this is her second week living here.

She felt the sparks in her heart,

Could this be love?

"Okayy scott i really appreciate it thankyou for came into my life in one night now i have a neighbor and a friend here" Beth giggles

Even Beth herself and Scott himself earlier before they came to relax by the beach right now, they already overshare their own stories with each other.

"Can you help me rub this lotion on my back?" Beth continues to ask him favor

"Sure my dear friend"

They even share so many skinship with each other like what they're doing right now. Scott helping her rubbing her back with tanning lotion, and earlier Beth do the same.

Is this relationship will always be friend or they will take it to the next level.

About 30 minutes they fried themselves with the sun, now the sun is almost setting down. They're running through the beach water. Splish splasin with each other, running through each other. Until that skinship happening again. Scott carried Beth with grabbing her arms to avoid the wave.

They stare at each other for a while.

It reminds Beth of the first time she moved here two weeks ago,she also swimming around this beach like crazy becaus efinally she can taste freedom and happiness. Leaving all her troubles behind even though the next day is her first day at her new office, but everything went fine. So she hopes that her and Scott will also be fine as the time goes by.

They swim until the sky is getting dark,now with a new attire and their hair is still wet. They're on the diner near the hut residency specifically near the reception.

They want to try some seafood there.

"Are you sure you like seafood?" Beth ask Scott

"Of course i love it, i travelled around the world and been eating this so many times"

"Do you like it Beth?" Scott ask her back

"I like it so much, it reminds me of my summer vacation back when i was a kid in southeast asia. Oh what a good old times" Beth smiles

"Look at that sky and the beach view" Scott points out the view and the sky

"Yeah it's beautiful. I am so happy i can revive this memory back" Beth smiles

"You rarely travel?" Scott ask her

Beth nods

"Not until right now, especially in corona time we were locked down in our house didn't we?" Beth reminiscing few years back that the whole world got on lockdown

"Yeah it was the worst times" Scott agrees

"I used to travel the whole world a lot with my ex boyfriend until corona hits, then our last trip together was maybe almost 3 years ago. Then we broke up hehe" Beth suddenly overshares again with her new male friend

"I'm sorry to hear that" Scott feel sorry for her

"It's okay we've been through complicated conflicts in the corona year and especially after our last trip. It was caothic and it has to end that way" Beth smiles

"You deserve better Beth" Scott suddenly hold her hand

"Thanks" Beth giggles

"Hey let's eat the seafood is getting colder if we're not eating it any longer" Beth switch the topics

Now they're eating with a beautiful view. As the night breeze hits their body.

Now after dinner they walk along the beach together.

"Scott" Beth calls him

"Yess?" Scott answers her

"Have you ever fell in love?" Suddenly with a brave heart Beth ask that question to him

Scott giggles

"I have, years ago. 6 years ago? I dumped her for good what a toxic girl" scott chuckles

"Why??" Beth ask him

"Because she's arrogant and have a bad demeanor that's why" Scott answerred

"Oh i'm sorry to hear that" Beth feels sorry for him

"That's okay it's been a complete 5 years of freedom that i had and never been happier, travelling the world alone is a happiness for me. And matter of fact she's posessive anyway" Said Scott

"Wow that's harsh. So you haven't date for a long time now?Beth ask him again

Scott shake his head meaning no.

"I'm to comfortable for being on my own" he smiles

"Same me too" said Beth

"If you let me know why did you breakup with your then boyfriend?" Scott ask her back

Beth inhales her breathe.

"He cheated on me, he was my bestfriend then turn into my boyfriend. After we broke up out friendship also ruined" said Beth with a sad face

"A cheater is always a cheater you can't make him your friend anymore" Scott gives her advice

"I know,that's why even though back in the day he ask for a second chance but i rejected it especially when he ask me about how if me and him turns this relationship into a friendship again, i said no way" Beth giggles

"Dumb fuck are you not even realizing what you did to your girl?" Scott is on Beth's side

"Even as a man myself cheating is not okay,it will ruin you seriously" Scott continues

"That's a real man right there" Beth compliment him

He put one of his arms on Beth's shoulder as a friendly hug.

"We deserve better seriously" said Beth

"Yeah we do" Scott agrees

Then look at Beth deeply.

"But by the way why are you asking this question in the first place?" Scott wonder why Beth suddenly pop this question

"I don't know, looking at a full moon above the beach like this it's so beautiful i don't know why. I feel the longing of being on somebody's arm, coming home to my loved one. It's already midday and they're in one of dubai's supermarket.

"You should use this seasoning is more good,i'm gonna get one and you're gonna get this one too" Beth and Scott now they're in the supermarket in the kitchen spices section

Beth is trying to recommend Scott seasonings that suitable for cooking

"I will agree on everything my personal chef says" Scott make fun of Beth

Then they continue to walk around the supermarket to buy their own needs.

When they're in the cashier section, is time for them to pay.

Now it's the critical moment.

"Just seperate it please mam" Beth ask to the cashier woman

That cashier woman isn't finish talking yet

Beth can't do anything because she's also embarrassed with everybody around them.

"Thankyou so much Scott for dinner i'll cook you indonesian food nasi goreng at my hut okay?" Said Beth

"Yeayy i would be delighted" Scott with his happy face.

Beth is actually feeling guilty with Scott they have already known each other for about two days now but they're closer than ever.

After grocery shopping for about an hour or two,they stop at the nearest cafe to grab lunch together.

Now it's dinner time, after grocery shopping they took ride around dubai seeing this beautiful city around until evening.

Now they're in Beth's hut.

Beth made for him and her an indonesian dish called nasi goreng for their dinner.

"Wow it's really good Beth, you're really good at cooking" Scott can't stop compliment her

Beth smiles

"It's nothing, it's actually that kind of dish if you were confused of what to eat, and also this is my treat for you after you paid all of my groceries"

Then Beth dig into her purse to find her wallet. And take some of her cash money to pay Scott Back.

"Whatever you're going to say, but Scott i really have to pay you back. The grocery the restaurant, i can't scott" Beth push scott to accept her money

"No, i won't accept it" Scott play fully push Beth's hand that holding the money away.

"Scott please.." Beth whining

"Beth please, i really treat you sincerely as a good friend who really keeps me company and making my mood boost these past few days recently, so let me treat you today okay beth?" Scott's eyes really tells that he's really sincere treating Beth as a friend

"Well thankyou so much Scott, but promise me at the end of the day don't threat me like a debt collector?" Said Beth playfully

"Excuse me young lady?" Scott giggles

They're all laugh.

"My pleasure Beth,you have work right tomorrow?" Scott ask her again

Beth nods and smile

"Yeah and third week here in dubai" Beth sighs

"So far what do you think about Dubai?" Scott ask her

"Itss greatt, its good, i never felt this free. But sometimes i got bored but i'm back to life again" Beth chuckles

"Told you to work freelance with me so we can travel to a dream country together" said Scott

"Wait for a while please Scott, but if you can't wait for me you can go on your own" said Beth

Don't know why but the ambiance is became gloomy.

It seems like they want to seperated but they are here with each other.

Since at the car Scott and Beth really discuss about travelling especially Scott said that Dubai is beautiful but if Beth stay here for 7 years she eventually get bored and wants to moved to another country. So it makes Beth think to join him travelling to another country (travelling) together as a friend.

Scott chuckles

"Okay, i also been here in Dubai for a month now maybe i need to explore Dubai and UAE a little bit more although Dubai is not on my list" Scott smiles

"Thankyou scott" Beth always thanking him.

"Stop saying thankyou my little friend, let's eat these up and i'm gonna go back to my hut. You have to go to work tommorow"

"Okay" Beth smiles brightly

Then they continue eating and talking until like 9:30 PM, Scott also helps Beth washing the dishes like Beth did yesterday at his hut, they're being responsible and helpful towards each other.
