Episode -7 A Strange beginning

As Austin walked, the chill of the morning air began to seep into his bones. He had been walking for hours, and the cold was starting to take its toll. He looked down at his feet and realized that he had forgotten to wear socks. His toes were numb and cold, and he could feel the chill of the pavement through his thin shoes.

Just as he was starting to feel like he couldn't go any further, he saw a light in the distance. As he got closer, he realized that it was a cafe, and the sign above the door read "Fuel for the Insane". Austin couldn't help but laugh at the irony. He was the one who looked like he had lost his mind, wandering around in the cold without socks.

He pushed open the door and stepped inside, grateful for the warmth and the promise of a hot cup of coffee. The cafe was dimly lit, with a few tables scattered around the room. There was a fire crackling in the corner, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air.

Austin made his way to the counter, where a barista with a kind smile greeted him. "Welcome to Fuel ," she said. "What can I get for you?"

Austin rubbed his hands together, trying to warm them up. "Just a coffee, please," he said. "And maybe a place to sit for a while?"

The barista nodded sympathetically. "You look like you could use a break," she said. "Take a seat by the fire, and I'll bring your coffee over to you."

Austin sat at a small table by the window near the fire , lost in thought. He stared blankly at the steam rising from his cup of coffee, his mind consumed by worries about his mother.

Why was she so upset with him? Why did she always have to complain about something?

Austin felt a surge of frustration and resentment towards his mother, and he couldn't help but wonder why God was testing him like this.

Just as he was about to sink deeper into his thoughts, Austin felt a presence beside him. He turned to see Ethan, sitting down in the chair across from him.

Austin's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh, sir!" he exclaimed, feeling a little starstruck.

Ethan smiled and placed a tray of snacks on the table. "Please, Austin, call me Ethan. We're not in the office now."

Austin's eyes darted to the snacks, and his stomach growled in response. "ohhh okayy, sir...I mean, Ethan."

Ethan chuckled and pushed the tray towards Austin. "Help yourself. I figured you might be hungry."

" Ohhh noo, I’m fine, thanks," Austin Insisted, but his stomach betrayed him with a loud growl, echoing through the cafe like a rebellious drumbeat.

" It's from a café; they told me to serve you this," Ethan said, his eyes sparkling with mischief as he slid the plate closer.

" But I... didn't order this," Austin protested, glancing at the barista, who was watching with an amused expression.

" It's our 1-year anniversary, so it's our little giveaway, sir," the barista chimed in, a playful smile on her face.

" Ohhh, okay," Austin replied, still a bit bewildered, but his curiosity piqued. The pastry looked delicious too, glistening with a sugary glaze, and he couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe, surprises like this were meant to be savored.

Austin hesitated for a moment before picking up a pastry and taking a bite. The sweet, flaky texture was a welcome distraction from his worries.

As they sat there in silence, munching on snacks and sipping their coffee, Austin felt a sense of calm wash over him.

Austin is a fast eater he finished his pastry as he was hungry since last night

"Oh you look cute Austin..." Out of nowhere Ethan said and makes Austin in surprise

This is the first time someone calls him cute, he looked at Ethan eyes

"Are your eyes defected or something like how someone looking insane can be cute" Austin respond

Ethan watching him out and something hit him about why this man's eyes are sad , why his eyes are getting puffed up , what happened to him Austin talks like a cute little man.

" It's a compliment so keep it Austin " Ethan answers
