Aireen's POV

Is what was written in the board while entering the conservatory.. I am still not sure is this place real or an illusion. Throughout the whole route I couldn't see a glimpse of this castle-like conservatory. maybe the seven hills were guarding it throughout the way.. it is quite a shock . the castle is in a high place, where you can see no mountain behind. yet you cannot see the castle from the road all you see is hills. 7 tall hill. only when we were quite near..it was visible like this.

weird enough, they don't ask for money..what do they even take as payment...

"we are here Mallory...come out.."

"for once try calling me Aireen. I don't like the name Mallory you know well."

He didn't reply ..I knew he wouldn't...

"Mallory" ..as weird as it is..The meaning is far more obnoxious. He named me Mallory.. Something unlucky.. ill-fated.. He thinks I'm a monster..I ate my twin brother in belly....his future heir.. fortunately my mother was kind enough to name me with something decent...Aireen..not Irene.. probably a different way to write my name...it means peace..which is something I badly need in this chaotic life..

"Mallory dear..are you tearing up?" said Mrs Evans.

she was imitating aunt Suzanne mockingly. trying to provoke me once again for one last time.. I came out of the car. while our Butler carried my one and only luggage.. we passed through the main gate. entering the office building. a woman in black long gown looking like an amish person came forward.

"welcome Mr.Evans! We were notified of your Arrival." she stated with no humanly emotion or smile.. she took us to her office.. they didn't talk much..only asking about my medical reports , diseases and some irrelevant things which shouldn't be a topic on admission..ONLY thing they didn't ask for was my grades from past institution. Which should've been their first priority.

"take the lady with you..check her thoroughly" said that woman..

"what am I being checked for? Drugs? Phone? Or bugs?"

"we possibly can't take out the bugs in your brain right away , we sure will...in a matter of time.. For now .. we are ensuring you don't carry any restricted items young lady."

I didn't reply..

"Ms.Lily , did you not tell your daughter, a watch is also restricted here..?"

"pardon me.. I didn't notice .. Mallory ..your watch."

"what if I don't? "

"I'll have to discard it on my own." said the lady.

I didn't want to create any more commotion ..I handed over the watch to dad.. I don't trust that vicious woman a bit..they checked me ...my luggage..and when they were satisfied.. a different woman was supposed to take me to show my room. Before that my so called mother came to me..for a last goodbye from her side..she hugged me..and whispered in my ear..

"poor thing..I really don't wish to see you again.. but if you are that ambitious, use , manipulate and survive...deceive if you have to.."

I couldn't process her words. why would she even give such a weird advise. this is not a battlefield .. but this place also doesn't seem right... what's going on here..I expected dad to hug me once. He turned around and only said, "Hide your sins .." before leaving me in this abyss.

The lady showed me my room.. luckily I didn't have to share room . It was big enough for me..while checking, they discarded all the books I brought. It was heck of a day. Before going the lady instructed me change into uniform..we have a gathering ..I did as she told me..

this uniform isn't as bad as I thought it would be..at least it's not a uniform of something like test subject. little different than uniforms I ever saw..long grey gown with belt...collar like a kimono but with buttons stitched on the left . And a belt..they also provided boots. I changed into my uniform. was ready to head for the gathering.. I was curious what kind of people will there be..
