Hospital Corridor – Late Night
Mr. Kim was sitting outside Yuria’s room, exhausted but unable to leave his daughter’s side. He looked up as Yun-soo’s mother approached, her face filled with determination but also sadness.

Without another word, she turned and walked down the hall, disappearing into Yun-soo’s room to collect him. Mr. Kim watched helplessly as she gathered her son, Yun-soo still unaware of the memories he was leaving behind.
Moments Later – Outside the Hospital
Yun-soo’s mother guided him out of the hospital, her heart heavy as she glanced back one last time. Yun-soo was quiet, drowsy from medication and still disoriented. She didn’t tell him anything, not about Yuria, not about the accident. To her, this was a way to protect him

*Forcing a small smile *We’re going somewhere safe, Yun-soo. Somewhere you can rest and get better.
He nodded, not questioning her further. They disappeared into the night, leaving Seoul—and Yuria—behind.
Funeral Scene – A Week Later]
It was a quiet, gray morning as the Kim family and close friends gathered at the cemetery to say their final goodbyes to Mrs. Kim. A soft drizzle had started, as if even the sky shared in their sorrow.
Mr. Kim stood near the front, his face pale but composed. Inside, he was breaking, but he knew he had to stay strong for his children.

He placed a single white rose on the casket and took a deep breath, silently vowing to keep his promise.

Yuria stood a little apart from her brothers, looking lost and holding a small bouquet of her mother’s favorite flowers. She barely understood why everyone was here, and her heart clung to the hope that somehow her mother might still come back.

Yuria nodded slowly, her little face reflecting a mixture of sadness and confusion.
