Chapter 2

Two weeks went by like a flash, the preparation for school was the only available event going on.

I was excited just thinking about it that i sometimes I couldn't sleep by I think that is because of my nightmares.

Ever since I received admission into wester college, the images in the dream have become more vivid and clear.

At first I was confused, but I decided to find out what does beast like creatures are. After a whole week of research, I found out that they are from the wolves race.

The only thing that puzzled me was the fact that the wolves were the one talking to me in the dream.

Well with that aside, I have to meet up with Ryan, my one only bestie. Not to brag but I'm incredibly beautiful, with white from my dad and red eyes from my mum.

You may be wondering, if I am so beautiful, why don't I have any friends, the reason is because my looks make people believe that I have a cold personality.

And when my dad died I actually became cold, but because of Ryan I returned to my cheerful behavior at the cost of my Friends.

Trust me when I say I love having Ryan as a friend, he is caring, forgiving, and over protective of me that sometimes it annoys me.

Reaching the cafe, I saw Ryan resting on the wall and I grinned. I arrived at the, Ran up to him and jumped on him for a hug while shouting "Ryyyyyyyy".

He was a bit startled but quickly regained his composure. He smiled and patted my head while saying "Hiya Lena, you look excited, care to share?"

"Not here, let's head in". I said while pulling him inside the cafe.

We got in and settled on an empty table. The waiter came up to the table to ask for our food menu but became awestruck when he saw me.

Feeling a bit awkward, I smiled at him slightly and stared at Ryan. He looked furious and said to the waiter "Do you like your job?".

Feeling the frost in his tone, bowed his head for forgiveness and said "S…sorry sir, what would you like to eat?". Ryan still looked angry, and I held his hand and said "Don't worry Ry, it wasn't on purpose. I will have two servings of hamburgers, 1 serving of French fry and a bottle of Malbec wine. That will be all"

The waiter nodded and left with the order.

Now we were alone and I was feeling over excited to tell him so I said " I have some news, I finally got into wester college."

I looked at him eager to receive the praise he always showers me any time I do something well but maybe it's my imagination, the eyes that always looked calm and soft suddenly hardened.

But by the time I could confirm, it was already back to normal. He forced a smile and said " What??".

"I got into wester college through the scholarship exam." "Lena I thought I told you not to apply for that particular college." "Yeah but I did and I passed so you have nothing to be worried about."

"Lena why did you?, don't you know that school is filled with...". "Huh?, filled with what?".

"Filled with um....um struggles, yeah it is filled with struggles." I looked at him and grinned then said "I knew you would say that, which was why I decided to take the scholarship exam AKA the hardest means of getting into the school."

"Um Ry are you mad with me?". I looked down feeling a bit sad at the thought of it. He sighed then raised my head with his hands and said,

"Lena, you know I can't get mad at you that easily, it's just that I am worried about you." "You don't need to, aren't you an upperclassman, you can protect me and if I ever need advice I can come to you."

"Fine whatever you want, just be careful." I smiled at him and nodded.

The food came and we ate or should I say I ate, Ry was the type of person to only drink wine without eating while staring at me eating.

I sometimes get worried about him but anytime I ask he says he had already eaten so I just leave him alone.

While eating, we talked about random things and because of I really didn't understand the route to the school, I asked him to take me there, he agreed after a level of persuasion.

We parted ways after the meal and I went straight home to check the remaining pending preparations.

TWO DAYS LATER

WESTER COLLEGE

"Damnit, where is Kai?". "What?, don't tell me he snuck away again to the human realm, we have to get him back before his dad finds out".

"Guys, I heard Kai's dad has gone to the human realm to find Kai" "Damn, well that's his luck. I silently pray for his safe return."

KAI'S POV (Point of view)

(It feels so good to get some fresh air, these days Ethan, my wolf, has been restless but I guess he is better now that we are in the human realm)

(Ugh these weak creatures should stop staring, I know I am a handsome hunk but their stares are irritating.)

Knowing that I will soon be caught, I decided to head back when a scent hit my nose. The scent drew me in, I was marvelled then my wolf, Ethan, suddenly started prancing about then said "MATE!!!".
