Altan POV,
It's been a week, and I still can't shake off the impact of that encounter with the girl. I find myself constantly thinking about her, wondering why she reacted the way she did. I remember that moment when she suddenly lost consciousness, her grip slipping from my cheeks, and her request for me to repeat my name. It's all still so unclear to me.
Flashback:
I called the doctor to examine her, feeling both confused and concerned for her well-being. This strange sense of concern consumed me, and I couldn't brush it off as a passing thought. As I gazed at her face, there was an uncanny resemblance to someone I once knew, with only the difference in hair color. But how could that be? How could someone who was gone suddenly come back to life?
Lost in my thoughts, someone placed a hand on my shoulder, breaking my reverie. I turned to see a figure clad in a white coat with circular spectacles—a doctor. The doctor assured me that she was just tired and in need of rest. With time, her consciousness would return.
I nodded, pondering the way people's behavior changes when they learn who you really are. Reflecting on my past, I could now understand why my father always prioritized work and his reputation. It was for moments like these, when I would inherit his legacy. However, I despised the CEOs who flaunted their arrogance and treated others poorly. Sometimes, I felt the world needed fame to silence those who turned a blind eye to the suffering of the common man.
After an hour and a half, with the doctor's permission, I entered her room. She still lay unconscious, and I couldn't help but fixate on her. It was as if I were driven by a selfish desire to be near her, a reminder of someone significant in my life.
A single tear escaped my eyes as I grappled with missing her despite her lies and betrayal. Her death had come as a shock to me, even though she didn't deserve my affection.
To calm myself, I lowered my head, clenched my fist on my lap, and tried to find solace. In that moment of sorrow, she softly asked, "Are you alright?" I raised my gaze to meet hers. There she was, looking pale but a presence that reminded me of her.
She repeated her question, and I replied, "I'm okay. What about you?"
She glanced in my direction and said, "Look here, I'm fit and fine."
Curiosity overcame me, and I asked her how she knew me. She met my gaze and simply replied, "Yes."
My curiosity grew, and I pressed further, asking, "How do you know me?"
She responded, "From one of my favorite comic books."
Realization dawned upon me. Of course, she knew me because I was the renowned CEO of Krama Productions, responsible for bringing millions of manga and animations to life with impressive 4D effects.
She looked at me and commented, "How could a manga character come to life?"
The phone call I had received interrupted our conversation, and I missed her next words. But from what I gathered, she was referring to something about manga characters.
I concluded that she must be one of my fans, given my immense fame. Even my name alone left an impact on everyone's minds.
