In the old man's gazebo on a distant multiverse
"Reincarnation cycle, old man what the hell are you talking about?. Aren't dead people supposed to stay in the afterlife for the rest of their lives?." Solomon asked clearly surprised by the old man's insane comment.
"I thought I said you get only three questions, my, my youngsters these days don't listen carefully and apparently are impatient. I guess they're built different right now" the old man said while sighing. "That overseeing being isn't doing his job properly anymore". He muttered under his breath.
"Old man, you said we were three people right?" Solomon said.
"Yes, I did. Though I have already briefed them on the situation it won't be so bad for them to hear it again while meeting you. I think it would be a plus to them, but I will call them out later. Come sit and try the tea I brewed. Briefing is only done from 2pm-4pm and as you can see it's still 12:30." the old man said while sipping his green tea.
"Old man, I didn't come to the afterlife to sip tea, walk around in blood stained clothes, follow a narrow path to meet an old man all by himself in a golden gate that leads to a freaking gazebo. Now, you want me to sit down and drink tea and pretend like nothing is happening". Said Solomon.
"First, you better watch your language or else you'll receive a lightning strike to your family jewels which I guarantee is going to hurt more than you expect" the old man winked.
Solomon put his hands between his legs to protect his assets.
The old man chuckled before continuing "Secondly, I'm an old man I'm supposed to love tea. So have some respect for your elders and just sit your butt down and drink the tea it's not like poison can work on you. In case you forgot you are already dead and can't feel any form of pain unless I want you to."
"Well, that's a very reassuring thought. Has anyone ever told you that you have a way with words besides me"asked Solomon.
"Yes, lots of people I am popular in this particular multiverse after all. Now, I won't ask again stop asking questions and sit down." said the old man in annoyed tone.
Solomon could hear the annoyance in his tone and didn't want to find out what would happen if he made the old man pissed over something so simple as tea which clearly looked like the old man's favorite pastime.
So he quietly sat down and began to sip his tea quietly while watching the time and admiring the intricacies of the gazebo but since everything was made of gold there wasn't much to admire anyway.
A few hours later
The old man drank the remainder of his tea and then turned to Solomon.
"It's time to meet the other two" said the old man before walking ahead as Solomon trailed behind.
