I rushed out of the library, my heart racing. Taro's call had unsettled me.

"Akane, we need to talk."

His words echoed in my mind, stirring memories I'd rather forget.

As I walked, Tokyo's neon lights blurred around me. I felt trapped, unable to escape the past.
