She didn't wait for the sun to rise since she wasn't feeling tired.
She got up and looked in the mirror. Her eyes were a bit red and puffy. Thinking it wasn't that bad, she didn't cover them.
She took her motorcycle keys and looked at the photo of her parents.
" Good morning dad, good morning, mom. Hope today will be another successful day. Especially with how secretive Robert's and my mission is. Anyway, I gotta go now byee"
She took the elevator to the parking area of the building. And there it was... her motorcycle, it was actually the first thing that she bought with her parents' money.
She always loved motorcycles, so she couldn't resist the temptation when she saw that it was on sales.
She didn't wear her helmet-yeah even though she was a cop-that day it was very early, and it was ok to break the rules once in a blue moon.
It was that time of the day that she felt free, away from all her worries. She felt the breeze in her face. It was neither hot nor cold, just perfect, considering that it was still very early.
She reached the station and it was still closed. She thankfully had the keys since she was a higher up.
She opened the front door but locked it again since it was still early. She went inside and sat down to her desk. Next to the Vice's captain, that it was Robert's since he was a rank below her.
She first looked at some cases. And like always another murder, she put it beside, so she would check it out with him.
She rested, then her head on the desk waiting for the clock to show the time to unlock the doors.
Her eyes started closing, and turned out she was a bit tired. She looked at the clock and since she had some time she shutted her eyes.
Creak
The door was heard and then some footsteps.
She couldn't make out who it was since they were walking slowly, almost tip-toeing.
"Hmm-hmm, mmm, and it's new. The shape of your body is blue, the feeling I've got. And it's ohh, whoa... Ahhh!"
"Heather, what are doing so early here."
Turned out it was Robert, but something felt weird. Was it because she had that dream in the morning, or was it that she just woke up.
She felt a strange sense of déjà vu.
" Good morning Robert, what's up?
She was still snuggling in, her hair was a little messy, and her eyes got puffier.
Her voice sent a weird sensation down his spine. "Badump." It was definitely because she just woke up.
Right?
"G-good morning to you too, what's up with you too, early bird? They sun hasn't even come up."
He tried asking since it weren't that many times that she came early at the station. It was actually Robert that was coming here more often, practicing his hidden talent?
" I guess I just felt like it. It was a nice morning, so i came early. "
Robert took off his jacket and sat down at his desk.
A few minutes had passed, and the sun finally rose. Since he was in front of her, all the light fell upon him, making him shine. It was daytime, but he still looked like a star.
Robert had brown hair, and his eyes were green, but Heather would sometimes see blue.
A two- coloured eye wasn't something you see every day, so she assumed it was green and her eyes played tricks.
