The chaos was over, it was exhausting and frustrating to deal with all those annoying people, in the end we couldn't accommodate everyone, but we took on the task of contacting them with other hotels and providing them with transportation to their new destinations

"You are admirable" Marquez tells me as he collapses next to me in an armchair in the reception area, we both need a break

"Someone had to solve this" I reply, closing my eyes for a moment

I hear a big sigh, then Marquez's voice

"I won't ask the obvious, I just want to remind you that you are not alone, you have a lot of people here who appreciate you and would do anything to help and support you"

His words reached the bottom of my heart, making me remember everything I heard in Abraham's apartment, my eyes began to itch warning that tears would come out again; and as if it were a call, the imbecile appeared in front of us

"Hello beautiful" hearing his voice made the blood inside me start to boil "I heard about the other hotel, I hope it benefits you" I clenched my hands so hard that I felt my nails almost pierce my skin "are you okay darling?" and that was enough

I slowly opened my eyes and felt them hot, they were surely completely red with rage, I got up slowly without stopping looking at him, I wanted to put him three meters underground and upside down, that piece of animal could not be considered a man

"Zary, what's wrong with you?" his voice and gaze denoted fear, his Adam's apple went up and down

"What's wrong with me Abraham, do you really want to know?" out of the corner of my eye I recognized Camila, she arrived just in time to hear everything I was going to say to this stupid

"You know" I started slowly "this morning I had an appointment with Camila"

"Of course darling, today you would do the tests to see if the insemination was successful, you should have told me, I would have gladly accompanied you..."

I raised my hand preventing him from continuing with his babbling, I couldn't avoid the tremor that was reflected in it, in fact my whole body felt like that

I was out of myself, I didn't even recognize myself, but I felt so much pain that I didn't care to explode in the middle of the lobby

"Besides, he has sabotaged every attempt at pregnancy, he has given me the morning after pill disguised as vitamins, that's why it hasn't worked, it's all your fault damn wretch, all your fault" I threw myself on him and started hitting him, I don't know how or when I ended up on his body hitting his face hard, all I remember is that someone grabbed me by the waist and lifted me up as if I were a rag doll, I kicked and cursed incessantly at the piece of shit that was my boyfriend

"You're crazy!!!" he shouted while wiping the blood that came out of his broken lip "you're completely crazy and that's why no one will ever take you seriously, you're just a pretty face from where millions can be taken, why do you think you can't have a baby, because you don't deserve it!!!"

"Shut up!!!" I screamed and writhed trying to break free from those huge and strong arms that held me "I'll sue you, I'll take everything from you, it's my account that you stay on the street, did you hear me imbecile, you'll stay on the street!!"

Marquez took Abraham out while I kept screaming, as soon as he left my sight I couldn't anymore, my legs lost all strength and I began to slide to the ground, the arms that held me released their grip when they saw me on the ground and with my hands on my face, I couldn't cope with all this

"Zary" now it was Camila who hugged me, her voice was soft, too much "friend come on, let's go to your room"

"Will she be okay?" a deep, masculine and seductive voice spoke behind me, I didn't have the courage to look at him, but I heard Camila respond timidly

"Yes, yes sir" what was wrong with my friend?

I heard loud footsteps moving away and then Mr. Marquez and Camila urging me to get up, with their help I stood up and they took me to my room

"You can call me if you need anything" Marquez said before closing the door

"Zary?" Camila stood in front of me and took my hands "friend, is everything you said true?" I just nodded "Oh Zary" her arms wrapped around my body and I kept crying, I cried so much that my eyes and throat hurt, in a hard way I realized that disappointment is the most painful thing you can live
