Episode 4

I am Lionel De Lucca, an Italian businessman dedicated to winemaking and owner of a quarter of the vineyards in all of Italy. Since I took over the business, I have focused on taking it to greatness, so in the last 150 years I have put effort and passion into becoming the number 1 producer in all of Europe, gaining international recognition. It is strange to say that I have been in the business for so long, but for werewolves it is something completely normal.

I am 210 years old, son of the great Alexander De Lucca, alpha of the Blood Moon pack, and since his death 150 years ago that position is mine, along with the management of "Luna", our wine brand.

"You must call Diane" Gerard, my Beta, reminds me.

"I'll do it in a little while"

"Since she's been pregnant, her temper has worsened" he says it seriously, although it sounds like a complaint, I don't say anything to him, I know he's right.

"I suppose it's difficult with all that hormone change"

"Well, I've seen hundreds of pregnant she-wolves and none are like her, she even seems annoyed by it"

Now I can't tolerate it, as my Beta Gerard is my best friend, but I will never allow him to speak ill of my partner, using my Alpha voice I order him

"Enough!!, she is your Luna you are talking about and deserves much more respect from you"

"As you say, Alpha" in an annoying way he takes his things and turns to enter what will be his room. Detailing the place a little more, I realize that we are in a small three-bedroom apartment and a small living room, although it is not small at all, but we have been in much more elegant and spacious places. Even so, this place is very cozy, having a comforting and fresh air.

I take a bath, and while I'm under the water I think about what my friend said.

I met Diane at an Alpha meeting that was organized in England, she is the daughter of the Alpha of the Moon Star pack of that country, as soon as I perceived her scent there was no doubt, my senses were altered, my heart started beating wildly, but the strange thing in all that, was that Maximo, my wolf, did not react at all.

Still intrigued by what was happening to me, she approached, took my clothes and pressed her lips to mine, she practically forced me to kiss her, and after a moment I heard her say

"Mine"

The words got stuck in my throat, I should reciprocate, claim her in the same way, but I simply couldn't.

Applause was heard, it was Diane's father, followed by him several other people joined, and then little by little they approached to give their congratulations, the great Alpha De Lucca had found his mate in England and that was worthy of celebration.

As expected, I brought Diane with me as Luna of the pack, at first everything was joy, and how not to feel happiness that the pack had its own Luna after so many years. At first she asked for help to carry out the position, no one saw it badly, but seeing that years later she still needs that help leaves much to think about her.

Almost 10 years later I am still uncertain about that day, Diane's scent drives me crazy, especially in bed, my senses cloud and the pleasure is colossal, but after that there is nothing left, I try to talk to Maximo, to advise me or at least give me his opinion, but as soon as I touch that topic he blocks the link.

Now she claims to be pregnant, swears to be around a week, says she feels it, but again something strange happens, werewolves have a very strong connection with people who are important, and I should feel that connection with my little pup, no matter that it only has days of gestation, I should feel it, I should know it, at least smell it, but none of that has happened.

"We must leave early tomorrow, the meeting with the northern packs is in the afternoon, we will barely have time to arrive" Gerard comments.

"Good, what damned luck that this country is so big, that of meeting in several parts will be exhausting"

"That's right, I plan to leave a reservation paid for a week from now when we return so we don't have problems like today"

I nod in agreement, it may not be the best hotel we've been in, but it's better than others ...
