Even though Novan had insisted that he didn't believe what Eca had said, there was still a flicker of suspicion in his heart. After all, he had seen Diana's expensive phone. She had claimed she bought it with her savings, but thinking clearly, where would Diana get that kind of money?
She wasn't working and only relied on her parents, and even on Novan himself. But even then, it wouldn't be enough to buy such a pricey phone. It would take years of saving. They had been dating for four years, and when they first started dating, Diana wouldn't have even known about the latest phone models.
So, Novan decided to follow his girlfriend. Perhaps there was another man in Diana's life. Whoever this man was, it pained him deeply. Novan's love for Diana was immense. How could she betray him like this?
"No, Eca must be making it up," Novan reassured himself.
But anxiety gnawed at him as he saw Diana rush out of the house. About fifteen meters away, a car was waiting, and Diana got in.
"Maybe it's just a friend," Novan muttered to himself, sitting on his motorbike.
His heart pounded as the car headed towards a deserted area. Soon, the car, a Honda Beno, stopped by a secluded riverbank. No one ever fished there; rumor had it that it was infested with crocodiles.
"Why are they taking so long?" Novan thought, restless.
Inside the parked car, Diana was crying, telling Beno that her phone was broken, smashed by Deni. That's why they met up. Beno, upon seeing the shattered phone, was furious.
"I feel terrible that the phone you gave me is broken," Diana sobbed.
"It's okay, I'll have it fixed. What matters is that you stop crying," Beno comforted her.
"But the repairs will be costly," Diana whimpered.
"Don't worry about the cost. What you should be thinking about is how to please me," Beno whispered, his hand wandering over her body.
"Oh, you're naughty!" Diana chided playfully, swatting his hand away.
"Let's try it outdoors, it'll feel different than in a hotel," Beno suggested, his excitement growing.
"Someone might see us, it's too risky," Diana said, worried about getting caught.
But Beno's advances were relentless. His hand found its way to her damp valley, two fingers teasing her. Diana's eyes fluttered shut as she surrendered to the overwhelming sensations. He then moved to her breasts, lavishing them with attention, ensuring her surrender. Beno was a true connoisseur of pleasure, knowing exactly where to touch her.
"Mmhhh..." she moaned.
"You're already wet, let's do it," Beno urged, unable to contain himself any longer.
"Alright, let's do it," Diana agreed, her desire mirroring his. She was beyond refusing him.
"That's my girl, and in return, I'll fix your phone." Beno unzipped his pants, quickly exiting the car.
Diana, wearing a dress, easily hiked it up, lay back on the car, and spread her legs. Beno happily began his pleasurable duty. Diana surrendered to the rhythm of this man she had just met. Their moans grew louder, echoing in the stillness of the secluded spot.
Unbeknownst to them, a heartbroken man watched the entire scene unfold. The woman he loved with all his heart, the woman he would do anything for, was sleeping with another man. Novan, who had been with Diana for so long, had never even slept with her. How could she be with another man like this?
"You betrayed me, Diana," Novan whispered, tears streaming down his face.
"Aaakkhhh... harder, darling!"
"Oh, you're so good, ooooh Dianaaa..."
Beno and Diana cried out in unison, consumed by the wave of pleasure washing over them. Making love in the open air, with the gentle breeze from the river fanning their desire, was a first for both of them.
"Aaaagkkk!"
Beno roared, finally reaching his peak, collapsing on top of a half-naked Diana. Novan saw Diana wrap her arms tightly around the man, kissing him with unbridled happiness and satisfaction.
…*****…
Disbelief and heartbreak tore through Novan. The woman he loved could be so cruel. He had given Diana everything she ever wanted, even defying his parents for her.
Now, all he felt was the sting of her betrayal. He wept alone in his room, proving that heartbreak could make even the strongest man cry. Although it wouldn't be difficult for Novan to find another woman in the village who would accept him, he only wanted Diana.
"Mom, where's Novan?" Norma asked, wanting to talk to her brother.
"He's in his room. Probably tired after harvesting," replied Mrs. Romlah.
"I bet he gave some of the earnings to that Diana again!" Norma spat, exasperated by Novan's devotion to the girl.
"What can we do? Your brother is head over heels for her," Mrs. Romlah said softly.
Suddenly, Novan emerged from his room, his face hidden behind a helmet. Neither his mother nor sister noticed the tear-stained cheeks hidden beneath, the telltale signs of his broken heart.
"Where are you going now, Novan?" Mrs. Romlah asked quickly.
"Purnama told me about a cheap plot of land for sale. I'm going to check it out," Novan replied, slipping on his shoes.
"Do you even have any money left, after what you gave to Diana?" Norma remarked.
Crash!
"Oh my God!" Mrs. Romlah gasped as Novan slammed his shoe on the floor.
"Don't you dare talk about her! You know nothing about my problems!" Novan pointed a finger at his sister, his voice laced with anger.
Norma fell silent, intimidated by Novan's outburst. He'd never reacted this way when they talked about Diana. Usually, he'd just scoff and leave to avoid further discussion.
