-Maeve's POV-

Without even realizing it, the others have been partying for 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬. It's been months since I last drank because I was too busy with work. I felt extremely dizzy... I don't think I know exactly how much I drink. Maybe 2 bottles or even more? But that's not the main problem. Because even after drinking just 1 bottles I already felt really dizzy. I thought I have a high alcohol tolerance! Or maybe I want an even higher one...

Let's not talk about it. Okay, the main problem is, I'm scared if I'll pass out. Cause if I do, who will take care of me? What if no one noticed me? It's packed here. I don't want to get too drunk, but I think it'll happened…

Turns out, Maeve's conjecture is right. It's been a while and Maeve gets too drunk. She almost pass out. She is currently lying down on the sofa with three bottles of water in front of her, on the table.

Xander who just got out of the bathroom rushes towards Maeve after seeing her condition, seeing people crowding her. What could possibly happen to her?

-Maeve's POV-

For a few minutes (or maybe even more, I don't know...), it was pure dark and I couldn't see anything. I also feel like my soul left my body... Did anything happen to me?

But... Why do I feel like someone is carrying me?

I woke up with a heavy headache. I slowly open my eyes and my eyes explore the room I'm currently in. I'm lying down on top of a cozy, soft bed. I feel like it'll be best if we slept on that bed on a rainy or a cold day, but I was really shocked to see the room I'm in. It was really large, it's such a lavish room. It's luxurious but nothing too crazy. The floor beneath me is black and white marbles. It's even better that I woke up with a Soft blanket wrapped around me, keeping me warm in the cold room.

"You already woke up?" I hear a deep voice behind me. I quickly look at the source of voice before my eyes widen in surprise. "S-sir?! W-where am I?! Why am I here?!" I say while panicking, looking at Sir Xander who stood there (good-looking as always) like nothing is surprising. "Calm down. We're at my house, this is the guest's room. You passed away before and the hospital is far, my house is way near, so I bring you here." He explains calmly. How can Sir Xander be so calm at this time?! "Oh my gosh... I'm really, really sorry Sir… I-i didn't mean to pass out or stuffs and I-"

I say, panicking while trying to get out of bed. Before I could finish my sentence, Sir Xander cuts off my sentence and stops me from getting out of bed. "Shhh, It's okay. The doctor says you're too tired so don't move too much." He says while holding my shoulders, pushing me back gently to the bed before pulling away to give me more privacy. Sir, please stop before I fall in love with you...

Sir Xander leaves the room to give me more privacy.

I may look like I'm just fine, But my mind have thousands of questions, yet I didn't dare to ask all of them. I didn't know where he went, but I'm still feeling really dizzy. I might need to get a glass of water.

-Xander's POV-

Sigh… It's my first party with my new senior employees, but one of them already pass out. It was a female employee, I already look at her employee name card. On the card her name was written as 𝑴𝒂𝒆𝒗𝒆 𝑿𝒊𝒏𝒛 𝑬𝒍𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒓. I also heard her friends calling her 'Maeve' So I believe it's her name. I just got out of the bathroom till I see a huge crowd with people being noisy and looking panicked. "What happened here?" I asked. "Sir... This girl passed out! I think she might've drank too much!" My eyes widen a bit in surprise. I Sigh and gets to the center to look at her. She's lying down on the sofa with a messy hair. I kept thinking on what to do, till I decided. I take her on my arms and carry her with the 'princess carry' method. The moment I carry her, people around me started whispering. Well, I don't give a sh*t when it comes to helping others. I knew Alex could've save her, but Alex is extremely awkward with females so instead of making it worse, I'm trying to be a good best friend and boss at the same time by helping.

I checked the nearest hospital and woah - it's 15 kilometers away. My house is just 1.5 kilometers away, so instead of bringing her to the hospital I decided to call my personal doctor and tell him to hurry and rush to my house (or mansion). Before leaving, I told Alex to take care of the other employees like telling them to go home, ect with Maeve still on my arms. "Alright, bro. I'll go now, I promise I wouldn't do anything to this girl. Help me take care of the other employees, okay?"

"Yea, yea. I'll help because I'm glad you know I'm awkward with females. Thanks to you too, bro."

"Np, see you." I say my goodbyes and go towards my car. I rush back home as fast as I could, but obviously still keeping a safe speed and nothing too extreme.

Once I reach home, I've decided to put her in the guest's room. The doctor arrived perfectly on time. I quickly told the doctor to check on her. "The patient won't be unconscious for long, she passed out because she often sleeps really late. I'm guessing she also pass out because of alcohol, she may have drank a lot judging from her strong alcohol smell." I nodded slowly, listening to the doctor's explanation. "Alright… Thank you so much doctor for the help."

"No problem. Is it okay if I ask something? Might be a little personal tho." I raise an eyebrow a bit before nodding.

"Sure, go ahead." "Hmm… Is she your wife? Or maybe girlfriend?" My eyes widen a bit. Sh*t, I got caught off guard. "Uhh, no. Actually, she's just my one of my employees." The doctor nodded understandingly with a soft smile on his face. After the doctor left, I'm unsure of what to do. Since I didn't want to surprise her when she gains consciousness, I decided to wait outside for a bit.

After a few minutes, I check in on her. Turns out, I was right on time. I got in a few seconds after she wakes up, judging from her confused face. I carefully approached her and says "You already woke up?" She quickly look at me with surprise showing in her eyes. "S-sir?! W-where am I?! Why am I here?!" She ask while looking at me with those confused eyes. "Calm down. We're at my house, this is the guest's room. You passed away before and the hospital is far, my house is way near, so I bring you here." I explains, trying to be calm. "Oh my gosh... I'm really, really sorry Sir… I-i didn't mean to pass out or stuffs and I-"

She says, panicking while trying to get out of bed. Before she could finish her sentence, I cuts off her sentence and stops her from getting out of bed. "Shhh, It's okay. The doctor says you're too tired so don't move too much." I says while holding her shoulders, pushing her back as gentle as possible to the bed before pulling away to give her more privacy. No matter what, her health is important. Of course I didn't forget to tell her I didn't to anything to her and just carry her there. I also explained to her before I left the room to give her more privacy.
