Maeve looks at Xander hesitantly, looking at the confident and masculine man near her. As Alex kept talking and explaining things to make it all more clear, Maeve just couldn't focus on the speech. Instead, her gaze was locked onto Xander's physiques that looks strong yet fit perfectly with Xander's facial features and height.

Maeve kept looking at Xander, her gaze looking up at his eyes until… She noticed Xander was already looking at her first, making eye contact. Well, crap. Maeve's gaze quickly went from Xander, to Alex instead. Maeve don't know why, but she feels like her cheeks is heating up a bit, making her cheeks a little red. 'Sh*t…' Maeve thinks to herself. She's now too scared to look at Xander again. Well, she can't help it, so she decided to try again, and take a 'quick' glance at Xander. She takes a deep breath before looking at his eyes. Maeve's eyes widen in shock, and she quickly looks away again after Xander's respond to her gaze, raising an eyebrow at her. 'Okay, Maeve. Stop stealing glances please…' she thinks to herself. "And lastly I would like to thank everybody for doing your best on your job. You all have helped each other including me to make this company starts from zero to one of the most successful. I'm grateful for being here and I'll now hand the mic over to Xander." says Alex, closing his speech. Respectful claps fill the entire room again after Alex's speech.

As Xander is doing his speech, everyone in the room listens carefully including Maeve. "Ahh!! Sir Xander is so f*cking hot!!" Wynter says suddenly, making Maeve roll her eyes and look at Wynter is disgust. Maeve also thinks he's attractive but is too prestige to admit it. Besides, she thinks having a crush on her own boss is forbidden and mostly seen disrespectful.

Xander's speech just ended, Xander and Alex lastly did a quick handshake and respectful 'bro hug'. The photographers took some pics of the whole announcement. Turns out, they already told the Junior workers first, cause' obviously the main meeting room couldn't fit the whole office's workers. Now, Maeve know why she heard claps and cheers coming from the main meeting room before. They also planned a party for the workers before today's working time is over to celebrate Xander as the new CEO and also to spend more time with Alex before he officially stops working as their CEO.

After they all go back to their working room and desks from the main meeting room, one of Maeve's workmate approach her and tap her shoulder gently to get her attention "Maeve, Sir Xander wanted to see you at his office" 'WHAT?! Shoot... I'm so dead.' was what Maeve wanted to say, but she knew she had to keep calm for her elegant image. "Alright, I'll go to his office now, thank you!" Maeve says with a smile. Her workmate respond back with a smile and walks away. Maeve takes a deep breath and stands up from her desk. "Good luck, bestie~" Wynter says teasingly, hearing the information from Maeve's workmate.

Maeve scoffs and walks towards the Elevators.

As she clicks one of the up button, the elevator opens. 'ARGHH WHY AM I SO DAMN UNLUCKY TODAY?!' Maeve thought to herself as she saw that Xander was already in the elevator, also wanting to go to his office with some thick files on his hands. Maeve nod a bit out of respect towards Xander,and Xander steps aside, letting Maeve go in the Elevator. Now it's only both of them alone. "Sir...I'm sorry, uhm-... may I talk to you about something later?" Maeve says, trying to get more courage. "Sure. I'm sure we have something to talk about at my office." hearing Xander's respond, Maeve nodded a bit and looks down at the floor out of embarrassment. 'I'm so dead right now, Wynter...help me...' Maeve thought to herself.
