After exiting his father's office, Alexander stood near the closed wooden door. He looked confused at his father's action. He started walking down the empty hallway. The mansion was vacant today. Not even a single person was in his sight; it was rare. Not even his brother was there today. He walked out of the mansion towards the dense green forest. It was a secluded area just 10 meters away on the left side of the big old mansion. The old mansion was where all the past generations had lived and died. It had a long history.
As soon as he reached the threshold of the dense forest, the trees started to rearrange. The weather inside the forest was calm. The barrier prevented the rain from entering it, and there was no sign of a rainstorm. With each stride, the trees moved to make a rough pathway. The trees behind again moved to their original position. It prevents anyone except the owner of the barrier spell from entering. The bumpy path led him to the forest's centre, where a tall, bricked tower stood. There was no entrance to it.
Alexander walked start into the wall. In the blink of an eye, he was standing inside. Now, he was standing near the spiral staircase. The cement staircase was cold. He started walking up the stairs, taking only a few steps to reach the top. It had an illusion spell cast on it. If an intruder is to enter, the light orb in the wall along the staircase will not light up. The steps will lead him round and round without an actual end. It results from the recognition magic cast long ago on the tower. At the end of the last step was a heavy metal door.
Alexander touched the doorknob. With a screeching sound, it opened to the inside. The orbs inside the room were already lit and floating. He became tense, reaching out inside his cloak and holding an iron Kris knife. All his senses were alert, ready to face the intruder head-on.
He paused when a pair of warm hands reached and hugged him tight. His pupils dilated while one hand held the iron knife inside the robe. He sighed in relief when he saw the guest in his room. He removed his black cloak and walked inside to hug the guest. He threw the wet robe on the bed and sat near the sofa. He waved his hand to the motion-cast fireplace, which lit up instantly.
The circular room had a wooden bed to the left and antique handcrafted furniture to entertain the guests. The right side had piles of old leather-bound books, scattered paper and notes with geometric shapes. The room had many old and new magic objects hanging on the walls. It also had enough space to hold many old, valuable books about magic and spirits.
In the well-lit room, one could see Alexander's beautiful features. He has big aqua-blue eyes, a long nose, thin lips, a sharp jawline, and a mole on his lower lip. His intense gaze and dripping wet hair made him look more desirable. He has a toned body, a thin waist, and long legs. Smiling at the guest, he pulls her to sit beside him. She has a beautiful smile, cat-shaped red eyes, and a round face. He starts playing with her short ash-blonde hair.
"Why didn't you inform me before coming here, Violet?" he asked, playing with her hair. "Am I not allowed to be here, Alec?" she pouted.
"You know no one is allowed to be here. How did you enter?" diverting focus to the face.
"Mmmm..." letting out, fidgeting with her fingers."You see..."
"I didn't mean to intrude., but I missed you." She finally spoke with her head down.,worried about him getting angry."Look at me. I am not angry. This is the last time you do it." He said, trying not to get angry at her.
