The atmosphere in the lecture hall crackled with a mix of anticipation and curiosity as Y/N stood in front of the class, ready to navigate yet another day of academia. The students shuffled in, some still buzzing from their holiday excursions, while others prepared for their studies with an air of seriousness.

As Y/N began her lecture, she quickly noticed Jimin and Jungkook whispering to each other in the back row, their heads huddled together like conspirators. Taehyung, however, sat directly in front, head down and seemingly uninterested, a stark contrast to his usual demeanor.

**"Jimin, Jungkook,"** Y/N called out, her voice steady yet laced with authority. **"What are you two discussing back there?"**

Before they could answer, the classroom door swung open, and a figure rushed in, panting heavily.

**"I'm sorry, ma'am... for being late,"** the girl gasped as she caught her breath.

Y/N's heart skipped at the familiar tone, her expression falling into shock as she recognized her childhood friend, Hana. Memories flooded back; laughter and secrets shared under starlit skies, experiences that now felt like distant echoes. But the immediate surprise quickly morphed into a guarded demeanor; she and Hana were as different now as the sun and the moon.

Both stood frozen for a moment, eyes locking in a silent acknowledgment of their past. But they quickly masked their emotions, adopting cold, firm expressions.

**"It’s okay,"** Y/N managed to say, her voice as calm as she could muster, but a tension hung in the air, thick and palpable as soo-ah prepared to take her seat.

**"Next time, you should come early,"** Y/N added firmly, the words falling like stones between them.

soo-ah met Y/N's gaze with icy determination, her expression betraying nothing of the deeper turmoil beneath, yet Y/N could feel the electric charge in the atmosphere. Taehyung, ever observant, noticed the shift in the room. He could sense the tension spiraling from both women, a collision of past and present.

The lecture moved forward, but Y/N found it increasingly difficult to focus. She delivered her content with precision, but her thoughts lingered on soo-ah, interwoven with memories of their childhood dreams and the fallout that had marred their friendship. How had they become mere strangers?

As the class finally wrapped up, students began to pack their bags, eager to escape into the freedom of the day. Y/N announced her office hours, where questions were welcomed,,, but her mind only drifted towards her unresolved feelings.

As they rejoined the bustling university halls, Y/N couldn’t fully release the tension knotting in her chest, but the ember of possibility flickered softly. Perhaps they could navigate the storm together, weaving their paths in this intricate tapestry of existence.
