I've seen the miracle performed by Jade, and I was taken aback, joyfully smiling at what I had seen. After that, I began to strike up a conversation with Jade, but somehow he declined to teach me about magium, since it requires talent to possess mana.
Despite hearing those words, I never backed down and persistently asked him again and again to teach me.
After a couple of hours of persuading, Jade finally gave in and agreed to teach me how to do it.
He led me to the field and ordered me to visualize the mana, feel the mana, and manifest it.
At first, I thought it was easy, but after several hours, I couldn't feel anything inside my body—there was no mana in it.
Jade noticed my struggle.
"Just like I said, you don’t possess any mana. It requires talent to do so," he said before he started to walk away in disappointment.
I noticed Lizzy looking at us; she seemed to be contemplating what was happening.
After she noticed that I was looking at her, she ran off. She really is a shy girl.
Nevertheless, I just ignored what Jade was talking about right now; my passion was burning inside me.
"Magic, I will definitely make you mine," I declared, raising my hand with determination.
I saw the trees where Jade usually sat. It seemed I could sit there too.
I approached the tree and sat under it.
I tried to feel my internal body, searching for the source of my mana.
After a couple of hours, I still didn't feel any of it.
Since my attempt had failed, I laid on the grass, thinking about my life decisions. Why couldn't I feel it? I saw the orangish sky; it looked like I had been here for hours, and it had already started to get dark.
I heard footsteps heading toward me.
"What are you doing here?" asked a soft voice.
"Sister, I'm just trying to feel the mana in my body but..." I stopped midway and continued, "I couldn’t feel anything about the mana."
My sister looked at me and sat beside me, accompanying me.
"It's okay, Fael. Mana takes time to understand; it’s everywhere and unpredictable," she said. "Take your time," my sister encouraged me.
I just looked at the sky while lying on the grass, trying to comprehend what she wanted to say.
"You know Fael, you can get magium since there are two types of getting it," she said.
I listened to her closely.
She explained that you can either receive it as a blessing from a divine being or possess talent for it. She raised her right arm to show me.
"There's nothing in it," I said.
"Yeah, just like you, there's nothing. But if you look closely when I use magium, you would see a mark," she explained. "It would be better to show it to you."
She closed her eyes and seemed to focus, and her right arm slowly emitted a light. The back of her arm gradually revealed a mark that glowed faintly. The mark looked like an angel’s wing.
She smiled.
"As you can see, this mark is a blessing from the God Equation, the God of Light," she explained. "With this, I can wield magium without any talent for mana," she added.
"Then how can I get the blessing?" I asked as I sat back down on the grass. "Do I need to become a worshipper or something?" I inquired.
She nodded.
"Looks like I forgot to cook some soap, and it's already starting to get late," she said as she stood up, brushing the dirt from her clothes. "Fael, you need to go back to the chapel before it gets dark, okay?" she added.
I nodded before she left.
I was contemplating her words. If mana is around us and I can't feel any mana in my body, then what I needed to do was open the passage and absorb the mana from the environment.
Just like an empty bottle being filled with water.
But in my case, I'm the bottle, and the problem is that there's a cap that I need to open to let the mana flow in. I must think logically about how to control it.
If I cannot feel anything inside my body, what if I focus on understanding the external energy around me? I felt something different, just like when Jade used magium. I could sense the mana around her—that was definitely the key point.
After reaching this conclusion, I quickly sought to cultivate an awareness of my surroundings. I recalled the sensation I felt when Jade released his magium. I needed to remember that feeling and allow myself to absorb those tiny particles of mana.

**{Jade's POV}**
I already knew that Fael had no talent for mana. Since he came here, I hadn’t sensed anything in him; he felt empty. It was my first time encountering someone like him. Every person should possess at least a little mana, yet I felt none from him—not even an aura.
"Jade, you don’t need to be mean to Fael," Lizzy approached with a frown on her face.
"I’m just telling him the truth. I don’t want to waste his time learning magium for nothing," I casually replied to Lizzy.
"Jade is right; without talent for mana, Fael couldn't manifest magium," Mayene agreed with me.
"But…" Lizzy's face fell sadly.
"Oho, looks like Lizzy is concerned about Fael," Aqua teased her younger sister.
Lizzy's face turned bright red.
"No, it's not that!" Lizzy protested, panic evident on her face.
"Looks like I hit the spot! Haha!" Aqua continued to tease her.
They were too loud for me to concentrate, so I decided to head out.
As I walked around outside the chapel, I was busy thinking about what to do next, as a different event would occur next year, and I needed to be prepared.
I definitely had to protect them this time.
However, I hadn’t considered that there would be another member of our family—Fael—who had never appeared in my timeline. Maybe this was the butterfly effect of my meddling with time.
I headed to my favorite spot where I usually stayed.
After I got close, I saw Fael sitting on the grass; it seemed like he hadn’t stopped trying to understand mana.
I decided to approach him, thinking it would be useless to do this any further, but when I got closer, I was shocked by what I saw.
"A genius," I whispered, unable to stop myself from smiling at what I was witnessing.

**Fael's POV**
I decided to focus on my external senses. I allowed myself to merge with nature and understand the environment around me—the sensation of mana. I could feel it brushing against my skin.
I concentrated, imagining myself as an empty bottle ready to be filled.
I told myself that I needed mana. I needed to sense it and make it mine.
Slowly, I felt the mana in my surroundings starting to attract to me, merging with my skin.
When I felt the energy, I concentrated on guiding that energy.
I focused on both my internal and external senses to absorb and control it.
As the energy slowly pierced into my body, I guided it to my abdomen to create a swirling circle of energy to contain it in one location.
The energy continued swirling in my abdomen as I absorbed mana from the surroundings.
After a few minutes, the swirling circle of energy transformed into an orb.
I slightly opened my eyes; my senses became clearer, and the dark surroundings of night didn’t seem so oppressive anymore.
I heard footsteps approaching; I looked up and saw Jade smiling widely.
