Chapter three

"Woah look at this place" Jimin said, gasping in awe at the skyscraper that seems to stretch out into the sky from where he stood

"it's beautiful" Taehyung said looking around, there were no many trees and green grass like the place they came from but it was beautiful in a way that captivate them, maybe it was the fact that this was the first time they're seeing the city but to them, the city was brighter, livelier and above all better.

"can someone go to the top of this building? " Taehyung asked, making Jimin chuckle.

"There's only one way to find out" Jimin say grabbing Taehyung's hand and running towards the skyscraper closer to them.

"what? Jimin I don't think that's a good idea" Taehyung said standing his ground so Jimin can't pull him anymore.

"why not? you said you wanted to go up the building" Jimin accused

"no don't quote me wrong chim, I asked if someone can get up there"

"isn't that the same thing" Jimin asked

"No it's not dummy, and perhaps I might just throw up the little food content in my stomach once I'm on a place that high" Taehyung said a little embarrassed when Jimin start laughing.

"awwww Tae, you are scared of heights"

Jimin said laughing harder when Taehyung pushed him lightly, muttering a 'shut up' under his breath as he began to walk in another direction as if he knows the place, Jimin following shortly after.

"where are you going to" Jimin asked, jogging to catch up with him.

"anywhere that isn't the middle of the street" Taehyung answered and just then the sky began to get darker, the wind picking up pace. it was the sign of an incoming rain and Taehyung and Jimin did not waste time in joining the people running around to get to their homes or a place that could shelter them from the rain.

luckily for the two, they found a small shed under the form of a small canopy produced by the extended top part of a restaurant before it starts to rain heavily.

"See Taehyung, even the rain came to welcome us to Seoul, it appreciates our presence here" Jimin said, extending his hand so it could be outside the shed and inside the rain, he loved the feeling of the cold water on his skin. he smiled when he saw Taehyung extend his hand too, creating a hollow in his hand so water stay in it, once he gets enough, he brings it up to his lips and drank it.

he sighed in contentment, reaching both hands now.

"I wish it came along with food, that would show it really appreciates us, don't you think? Taehyung said, smiling as he drank water from his hands.

" Food is on its way Tae, don't worry " Jimin said, not really feeling the need to eat, his stomach was probably too full with excitement.

Taehyung sighs not believing him but chooses to stay quite, choosing to ask instead

"so what do we do now Chim?" taehyung asked, tapping his wet hands on his face

"you are the genius here Tae, you tell me" Jimin say playing with the water

"well I was thinking we could find a place to stay for the night, and then tomorrow we go out to hunt for a job and the school and while we're at it, we'll find a place to stay permanently, what do you think?" Taehyung stated looking up to see Jimin nodding along.

"sounds good to me" Jimin answered still looking ahead

there was a moment of silence before Jimin broke it.

"do you think the dance school's requirements will be much? he asked, still not turning around until he felt taehyung's hand wrap around his.

" no matter the requirements, we'll get you in" Taehyung said tightening his grip around Jimin's hand

"after all we didn't come here all the way from Daegu just to go back empty handed" Taehyung smiled and Jimin pulled him into a hug, overwhelmed at how much someone is willing to do to make his dream come true.

"Thank you Taehyung" Jimin said, more than aware of the fact that he's been saying the words too often to his best friend

"Anything for you Jimin" Taehyung said, hugging jimin tighter. 'anything to make you happy, that's my dream'

after the rain they found a place to stay, which happened to be under a bridge with many other homeless people.

and as they lay close to each other, smiles on their face despite their growling stomach, they knew the future held something better for them than the situation they were in now.
