Stage 2 of the Exams part 2

"Huhhhhhh!!!!!"

"They froze everything" the supervisor said in shock.

Everyone was really surprised with their degree of power.

"You dummies, how do you expect to pass through when you just created a wall of ice" Gildart said as he lift his hands and held his head in frustration as Kazuko and Mitsuki went towards the map at the wall.

"Hey are you done?" Asahu says still feeling angry.

"Yeah I'm done" Kazuko and Mitsuki replies as they continued speaking, "I've memorized the map of this place, let's go destroy them"

"So we can start going right" Asahu asked.

"Yeah" they both replied.

"That's good, so let's start the hunt! Phoenix flames, Spinning drill!!!" Asahu says as his magic seal appeared with a flame like drill on it, as he runs towards the ice and started tunnelling through it.

A girl with a long green hair whose a little bit on the flat side shouted, "If you are doing the Hunters exam, follow those three and if you're an Adventurer follow me"

A boy with brown hair, averaged height as he wasn't that tall, summons a sand drill as he follows the girl with green hair and the others into the hole.

As they were inside the ice the boy said, "Hey, you three should lead the Hunters while me and her would lead the Adventurers, so that we can all make it to the examination ground, later we can all get back at them for this"

"Fine, but they shouldn't hold us back" Mitsuki replied.

They all reached a point where they split up and began heading towards the examinations room.

"Not shabby" Gildart says as he smiles and continues, "Looks like we really have a good set this time"

Dr Mayumi looked at him and smiles as she then said, "You're one hell of a guy"

Meanwhile Natsu and Yami was stuck as they tried opening the door but couldn't.

"Ahhhhhh, what we going to do, we're waisting too much time" Yami screams in agony.

"Wait, have you tried opening the door using magic" Natsu asked.

"Well no, but let me give it a try" Yami said as he then held the door and used his magic to pull the door.

Boom, the door opens as Yami was thrown of balance.

"What!!!" they both screamed as they saw a wall of ice.

"Had it been we were outside, we would have been frozen solid" Natsu said soberly as he then fell down and landed in a sitting position.

"Yeah, and this is Mitsuki doing, no doubt about that" Yami replies.

"But how are we going to get out of here?" Natsu asked.

"Hmmmm, I got an idea" Yami said as he stood up and shouted, "Rage of furry, Gorilla punch!!!"

Yami shouted as he began to punch the ice multiple times.

"Ahhhh, come on!!!" Yami shouted as the ice began to crack while everywhere was shaking.

"What's happening?" everyone in the building asked as they became confused including the contestants.

"Looks like Yami has gotten angry, this is going to be fun" Gildart says as he began to laugh.

"What do you mean by that?" Dr Mayumi asked as she was shaking and also terrified.

"Well, Mitsuki froze the whole place solid, so my guess is that it became part of the interior design, in other words, it became part of the building" Gildart said.

As Mitsuki in another place continued explaining to the Hunters, "So if he destroys the ice he might collapse this building"

The boy who was leading the Adventurers then continued, "Unless the ice melts or something, we would all die since the building would crash on all of us if it collapse"

Dr Mayumi screamed when she heard this as she then shouts at Gildart, "Are you crazy, why would you be laughing in this kind of scenario!"

Natsu noticed that the room where they were was cracking as sand was pouring gently from the ceiling.

"Yami" Natsu says as Yami continues punching the ice, "Yami! It's enough, you would collapse the whole building if you continue"

Yami then stopped and asks, "What do you mean by that, I'm trying to bust us out of this place, if not we would fail" Yami said.

"The shaking has stopped" workers in the building said as everyone began to rejoice.

Sigh!!!

"They didn't kill us" Dr Mayumi said in relief.

"It's not over yet" Gildart replies.

"What do you mean by that?" Dr Mayumi asks curiously.

"Well you see, I'm not really sure, but I just have that feeling that they rested a little" Gildart replies.

"If that's so then I'm out of here" Dr Mayumi says as she stood up from the ground and began to leave, since she was afraid of dying.

"Common kids, make this a little bit interesting" Gildart says as he looked up to the ceiling.

"Hey look up" Natsu told Yami as he continues, "As you can see the building is also cracking, and if you continue, it might fall and kill us"

"Damn, so what are we going to do?" Yami asks.

Natsu looks around and said, "Hey Yami, if it is possible, can we find something that we can use to carve out a path"

"Hmmm, okay then…" Yami says as he walked to a corner and snapped a long broom stick, and walked towards the ice and stabbed a part of it using his magic while saying, "How about this!" As he pulled it, making a giant chunk of ice to come out while the ice around it fell since the ice wall was cracked.

"Wow, that's so cool! Well, why don't we go back, if we do, we would find the others, plus it will make our job easier" Natsu said been excited as the walked out of the door.

Yami smiles as they both walked into the hole he created as he then asked, "Where next?"

"Hmmmm, this is bad, how are we going to be moving the ice" Natsu asked being frustrated by the fact that a giant wall was obstructing them.

"That's it!" Yami says as he became angry and snapped the stick he was holding, into two, as he jumped and threw the stick forward with all his strength using his magic. He then ran towards the ice while turning and throwing the other one downwards, as he continued running and punched the ice with his full strength as he screams, "Just give way already!!"

As Yami punched the ice, the whole building shaked as the ice began to crack following the sticks he throwed.

"Wow, Yami's so strong!" Natsu thought as the ice was cracking and said in amusement, "That's so cool, you're really amazing Yami"

"What now?" Dr Mayumi says as she became scared and ran back to meet Gildart.

"They did it!" Gildart says with excitement.

The supervisor was surprised with Gildarts facial expression as he asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"They didn't kill us or collapse the building and something tells me that they found a way to the exam room"

Yami then pulled out a large chunk of ice and threw it behind them which made the ice to fall apart.

Yami punched the chattered ice which made it to collapse.

"Come on Yami, let's go" Natsu said as they both ran towards the other contestants.

Yami continued doing the skill to avoid breaking the building as Natsu would carry him and run. After a while they reached a point where they saw a tunnel.

"Yami we made it" Natsu says with excitement as he then touched the ice.

"Which way should we go?" Yami asked feeling exhausted.

"Hmmm, I'm checking" Natsu said as he was looking at the way the ice was drilled.

"From the way this looks, I'm guessing they went this way!" Natsu said as he began heading towards the other contestants.

They reached a point where they saw two holes, Natsu noticed that one had traces of sand and the other a little of water.

"I'm a little bit confused here, they're traces of sand here but water in the other, so which way do you think they went?" Natsu asked.

"Natsu, I think the Adventurers followed the sand part and the Hunters followed the place with little water" Yami said.

"Why do you say that? It's possible it's the other way around" Natsu asked.

"Your right about that but here's my guess. Asahu drilled this part, and due to his flame magic, we can see traces of water, and remember that Asahu is all about fighting...." Yami said as he got interrupted by Natsu.

"Your right, which means he made a tunnel for the Hunters so that he can get his revenge on us" Natsu said.

"Exactly, that's why you'll go through there to meet up with the Adventurers and I'll go through here to meet up with the Hunters. Good luck with your exams" Yami said.

"Yeah and back at you" Natsu says as they both went their separate ways.

A while passed as they all arrived at the waiting room, although it took longer for Yami and Natsu to arrive.

Once they arrived everyone started shouting at them from both sides simultaneously.

"This is all your fault you bastard, and see the stress you put us through, do you even know how stressful it was!" the contestants said as they continued to complain.

"Alright everyone I can see you guys are in position, so let's get the exams started already. The clean up team has already started working on melting the ice, so you guys can continue with the exams. Okay then, let stage 2 of the exams begin" Gildart said as he pressed a button that opened the door.

The Adventurers rushed into the room immediately the door opened for the exams to begin. After they all passed through, the door closed as Natsu watched it.

Natsu began to think of how he would pass the exams as he sat down in front of the entrance.

"Hmmm, how am I meant to go about this again, what did the instructor say, maybe there might be a clue in it" Natsu thought.

After a while of thinking.

"Aaahhhaa he said. 'As for you Natsu, you'll have to be fast with the Adventurers exams if you want to make it to the Hunters own, cause I'm sure most of the Hunters would be done before the Adventurers would. If the hunters are done with their exams and you haven't arrived, I won't come back for you to retake your exams while saying that it is because you were doing an adventurers exam, so be careful and manage your time wisely'" Natsu recalls as he remembered what the instructor said.

"Hmmmm, so how am I going to do that?" Natsu thought.

"What am i going to do now?" Natsu shouted as he scratched his head in frustration.

"Okay Natsu, let's remember what he said, maybe we can get another hint from it" Natsu thought to himself as he continues, "I have to remember what he said about the Adventures exam and what was it again"

"For the Adventurers, your job is to find valuable items or things that may look new to you, in other words, we have placed artifacts for you to find in a limited amount of time. Oh and by the way, some items are protected by beasts and some are just very hard to find. Now your mission is to find those items and carry it to the safe zone, again, in a limited amount of time so you have to be quick about it" Natsu recalled.

"Yes that's it, if I want to be fast I just need to find a beast, that way I can just sneak inside, take the valuable item and get out of there, but how would I do that" Natsu thought as he began to come up with different idea.

"Okay, so where can I find those beast? Hmmmm, I should think back, maybe the instructor gave us a hint" Natsu said as he began to recall what the instructor said as he was looking for leads.

After a while of thinking Natsu gave up as he screams, "I got nothing!!!"

"It turns out I'll have to figure it out on my own" Natsu said as he stood up from the ground, and began to head out.
